For the record, I only make these fan-made music videos to promote the musical artist and movie. The songs and films I choose affect me on a very personal level, motivating me to combine them both into a music video. I do not monetize any of these videos, and only upload them to my own channel, in hopes of influencing others the same way they've influenced me.

The clips used to make this video were from the 2011 film, Drive, directed by Nicolas Winding Refn.
drive was still the closest we got to a hotline miami movie

+Preoh cocaine cowboys was conceptualized out of love for the genre of movies/media, and the style... while Drive had an influence on the final product for sure, other things did more for Hotline than Drive did.

+dicks out harambe I mean shit, lately we've been seeing a resurgence of retro aesthetics in our culture and media, in music especially, with vaporwave, retrowave etc. And if Rockstar would like to create a modern-day Vice City, then this kind of music added to its soundtrack would only bring out the '80s vibe the old game had even more, besides revisiting the updated city. Never mind them having Tangerine Dream on to compose the OST again, that would also be perfect, along with other oldies and more modern electronic music composers.

Yeah, the critics loved it, but the public hated it, calling it "unexciting" and "a waste of money". One lady even sued the production company for not including enough "action" in the movie, at least that's what I remember.

CG cmtry I found out about this video before I watched the movie, and so at first I actually thought driver was 2 different people hunting each other down and trying to kill each other because of how different he looks in some scenes. Now ive seen the movie a bunch of times and its become one of my all time favorites.

I visit once in 2011 when I was a kid because I watch the movie, cars 2 (2011)where McQueen and his racing team vist there for a big race. I think I once said to my parents can we go to Japan one time and we want there already it was beautiful the part of Japan was the famous Hiroshima were the bomb nuke there back in 1945 of the end of ww2, especially i did this because of the funny 2016 dank meme that were there, where vaporwave became an uprise on 2016 memes because my town was like a neon city like blade runner like in there in 2016.
