Nice addon--hope it works well for you. I remember learning about zener diodes in school. They are used in basic power supplies to regulate and keep the voltage at a constant level. I recently learned about those solder seal connectors. I'd like to try them. If you have used them how'd they work? See ya in one of the premieres.
@@RainyRider1970 Yes, a fully charged battery is around 12,7 volt but when you connect a charger like Ctek it increases to the voltage to over 13 volts during the charging process. So my question is, will it trigger the thunderbox?
@@RainyRider1970 Ctek chargers are smart chargers and can be connected for a longer period as they switch to maintenance charging after fully charged the battery. I used them for years on my cars and bikes. Anyway, thanks for your response 👍
I need one of those... I have a lot of accessories and Underlights. Hope it works !
So far it works really well. I'm going to add the Navigation screen to it this weekend
It said may have trouble with LED lights, but not so far

This thing has made a huge difference in starting power. I didn't realize I had that much of a parasitic drain going on
@@RainyRider1970 Nice to hear it's working good for you! Yep some nifty electronic gadgets out there!
What happens when you connect a battery charger that increase the voltage?
@@NordicAdvRider you shouldn't charge over 12.7 either way

@@NordicAdvRider well, mine doesn't. Mine charges at 12.7. Anything more than that, I wouldn't leave on a charge constantly. It'll burn up the battery
