Marvel is known for having well thought out characters and plot lines that string all the films together. The entire MCU is brilliantly made into a completely other world in which we only dream to live. There are some changes within the films that we’re certain Marvel Studios and Disney tried to sneak by us to not throw off their perfect creation...but alas, we have caught them!
Actor changes like Edward Norton and Terrence Howard in films like Ant-Man and Iron Man represented some of the biggest changes. Others included a blonde Black Widow and an accent-less Scarlet Witch, which we easily noticed. What do Dominic Cooper and John Slattery share in common? Does someone have beef with Robert Downey Jr. who plays Iron Man, AKA Tony Stark? Why has Thanos’ appearance changed? Why was the Hulk recast? And did Fandral from Thor get a makeover? The famous cast of Marvel films include, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Josh Brolin, Don Cheadle, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chadwick Boseman, and Mark Ruffalo. The spanning over a decade have gone from “Guardians of the Galaxy” to “Ant-Man” and now finally have arrived at “Avengers: Infinity War,” with many more films slated to come. Through their entire repertoire, we found all the mistakes Marvel tried to hide and we’re going to reveal them all to you!

I thought the reply would be clarifying that the scene where Thanos has armor was in the past, before he had the infinity glove and the power gem, which kinda negates the need for armor. Also Avengers took place several years before Civil war, so Cap would have more than enough time to grow a beard, had he wanted to, which he didnt and that is kinda the point. However I agree with most people in here, don't really think they were trying to slip stuff past fans.

FYI there are several reasons for their new looks:
- They indicate the passage of time and changed circumstances since CW (as they were outlawed so have gone into hiding in Wakanda)
- They indicate the progression of the character arcs (which you mention in the video)
- They can serve as the base of a disguise (as obviously a beard or blonde hair isn't enough)

Seeing the title, I expected this video to talk about actual character changes, like Tony suddenly having a bunch of suits and a whole army in Age of Ultron when he destroyed everything in Iron Man III. Or how Loki went from an opportunist who wanted nothing more than his father's affection and dominance over his brother in Thor to a world-dominating generic supervillain type madman in Avengers. Or maybe how Drax went from a serious-minded brute in Guardians of the Galaxy to a (hilarious) dork in Vol. 2. Perhaps how Thor suddenly became lighthearted goofball in Ragnarok. But no, you went on for thirteen minutes talking about physical changes that literally everyone noticed and all had good reasoning. Absolute hot steaming trash from a channel I used to enjoy.

loki actually makes sense if you watch the deleted scenes. He is still opportunistic in avengers because he chose the stronger side (or thought so) after stranding at Thanos' gates. He also had no choice but follow or die.

This list is silly.
Norton was notoriously difficult to work with on The Incredible Hulk, hence Marvel chose to replace him. And Mark Ruffalo had actully been approached to play Banner/Hulk in the movie but eventually Norton was cast. So the recast (Which wasn't a sneaky sneaky move but quite a public one) came natural when it came to The Avengers.
Black Widow went "underground" along with Cap, hence they needed new less notecable looks. Also Cap's look is based on the original comic run, when Steve Rogers denounced the title of Captain America and became Nomade. He wore black and grew a beard. Seem familiar.
The changing of Josh Dallas for Zach Levi was actually the exact opposite of what you speculate. Marvel wanted Levi but he was unable to commit, so Marvel settles on Dallas instead. When Levi became available for TTDW Marvel did not hesitate to cast him in the role, they had originally wanted him for.
Thanos changing look is quite simply because Josh Brolin had not been cast as The Mad Titan, in 2012, when The Avengers premiered. Therefore Marvel purposefully chose to alter Thanos' look to better emulate the actor portraying him in the 3rd and 4th Avengers films.rre
As with Norton, Terrence Howard proved difficult to work with and he reportedly demanded quite the pay increase to appear in IM2. Keep in mind he would still be a supporting character and also did not have the charisma or star power RDJ had. Therefore Marvel chose to re-cast the role of Rhodey and many fans are the happier for it!
And finally Scarlett Witch's accent - being undercover with a slavic accent - not easy - so ditching the accent was a camouflage needed. On a fan-note it made Scarlett witch much more bearable to watch and it gave Elizabeth Olsen a break from a fake accent, to allow her to give a much more nuanced performance. Also - keeping an american accent up when you are in private, not hard when you are amongst english speaking peers. You would not go back to a "less correct" speech pattern when in private. You would speak in native tongue, when amongst natives but not withhold an accent if you had managed to learn a more "correct" one.
Anyways - that's my two cents. Silly list and a whole bunch of ranting on things you can learn, when doing "research."

Norton was only difficult to work with because he wanted to make his hulk movie darker and more serious whereas Marvel just wanted a kid friendly movie.

Yeah, Screen Rant's comment about switching Warmachine's actor "hoping that audiences wouldn't notice" is just ridiculous. Every time an actor is changed... seriously, what does Screen Rant expect the movie to do about that? Do they assume Tony Stark should make a comment like "wow, dude, you look totally different now", or what? :-) For me personally, not doing anything about it, is really the best solution. Trying to come up with some lame excuse (I don't know, like plastic surgery, or some mutation after failed experiment, anything, really) is always going to cause more problems than solving that one appearance issue.

I don't think they tried to slip anything. It's not like it's a subtle change. They just felt that the viewers wouldn't really care. People weren't particularly invested in Norton Hulk. I liked him, but honestly, I didn't care about the change.

Hey, it's an excuse to watch Marvel footage from over the past years. Since I've been rewatching the films with extra footage, it's pretty much the same montaging that Marvel has stuffed into every past film. Even Thor: Dark World had an Infinity War or Marvel: past 10 years promo slapped on.

Wanda's accent disappeared because she no longer is living in Sokovia. Since she's spent more time in America(Or where ever they are) she's lost it because she spends most of the time with the avengers. It's a natural thing when you live in a new country.
Another theory is that she lost her brother and speaking in her accent brings painful memories of him
People can live in countries for years and never lose their accents. Whst she's doing is on purpose to maintain her cover. Her accent would make her conspicuous, so you drop the accent when when alone to keep the persona.

Pretty sure Howard wasn't moving to the TV deal yet (are you talking about Empire?). Howard has his own history of being difficult on set. If he was hard to deal with on the first Iron Man, taking him to the future films where there would be more labor intensive CGI and a further focus on the rapport between him and Downey Jr would've been disastrous. Additionally, the years of press junkets. That's not even getting into Howard's problematic history with women in his person life. Everyone currently in multi-pics of the MCU has pretty clean records. The only one with a messy history is Downey Jr and the Iron Man movies have easily been seen as his rebirth.

The change of actors ( Hulk, Rhodes, Howard Stark), I don’t think Marvel was trying to slip anything by the audiences 😐 Scarlet Witch accent changed because she is being trained to be a spy by Black Widow and she was on the run so she wanted to be secretive changing her accent and Black Widow is a spy so she wanted to change her hair to disguise

You do realise that Thanos not having armour is symbolic right? It shows he doesn't need it as he gathers more and more infinity stones and becomes more powerful. I think the armor removal has more to do with making Thanos’s intentions seem more sincere. If he was running around dressed like a king the whole movie, I’d have found it harder to buy that he legit thought he was doing the right thing. Decorated in fancy gold and talking in that deeper, more royal tone would give the impression all he cared about was power.
His skin could be lighter simply because of the natural lighting. We've saw him in the dark with barely any light, now he's fighting on earth in the middle of the day.

Yeah, all of those changes are easily explained, as opposed to the change in Thor's hair color, for example, which wasn't discussed here. He was so very blond in his first movie that it looked weird, but afterwards his and beard got darker.

I honestly don't understand what the problem is. After Civil War, Team Cap became fugitives. Fast forward to Infinity War, and you see throughout the movie that things have not changed. That's why Cap grew a beard and his hair, why Black Widow bleached her hair and eye brows and why Scarlet Witch speaks without her accent.
