Elvis, early December of 1976, during his very last Las Vegas season, during one of the first shows, introduced Roy Orbison who was in the audience, and Elvis said he had to be good this night because here was the best singer in the world sitting in the audience: Roy Orbison. Elvis then went on to sing a song he hadn’t sung for years, called “What Now My Love”. Elvis was very proud Roy came to see his show. Elvis also sang a line of “Running Scared” during a warm-up for a early 1970’s Nashville studio session.

@@timoraymo there was talks of Roy wanting a movie he was part of in his life but he passed before it happened.
Hopefully it’ll happen. Sadly nothing has come out since 2019 for the material. Lots of unreleased material out there.

We were all waiting for an Elvis story, Everyone loves an Elvis story, Roy, Jonny, Carl, and J Lee all have an interesting Elvis stories we all need to hear like when he jumped out of the car with a few of his guy’s at a gas station there was a ruckus going on Elvis shouted “hi yo leave that guy alone” or words to that effect, and jumped in throwing punches and karate kicks, as they got back into the car Elvis shouted “hi Joe get that guy’s name and get him a Cadillac, sunny west (one of his bodyguards) has hundreds of stories as he worked for Elvis for 17 years almost!
