I saw this in theaters. Five minutes in and I walked out to the bar and asked for a shot. The bartender tried to make small talk by asking which movie I was seeing and when I said "Transformers: The Last Knight", he laughed, shook his head, and said "I'm making your shot a double." That's the only good memory I have from this movie.
That story is 99% likely fake but ok.

When he makes a joke, the music will often stop while he delivers it. It drives all attention to him and his delivery. Not to mention, keeps the music from clashing with it. I love it and I hate how Ralph isn’t given 200 million dollars to make movies while Micheal Bay is.

For me it is very clearly that it is Cogman’s voice, Jim Carters high-pitched voice is more recognizable here than Hopkins would have been. It also makes sense that Cogman replies to Hopkins saying «that’s stonehenge». If Ralph just took a second to evaluate this he would have known it. I bet that it says «Cogman» on Prime Video if you have on subtitles
The first film was in 2007 but somehow throughout the whole series the effects look worse as it goes on. That's some kind of achievement

That line gave me visions of a Transformers movie that takes place during World War II, featuring two plucky Autobots named fat man and little boy who make a heroic sacrifice to save the entire world from the Japanese and their army of Samurai Decepticons. I should have. I immediately regretted my decisions after paying about $10 to watch this movie. I actually slept through the movie. First time I did that.
This movie was completely insane to me, and I laughed in every serious part and cringed in every "funny" part. I couldn't fall asleep while watching because I couldn't believe my eyes.

Just an interesting note: listen to how long he goes without having to mention the robots. The human plot is so removed from the title characters that one of the main human actors can give a whole summary of his character's arc without having to mention transformers once.
And yet Bumblebee was actually good. Also watching these movies makes me so sad you can tell the people doing the CGI, and sound mixing worked so hard and they got this

The moment I saw Quintessa, I realized that retcons were inbound. That and a lot of things annoyed me about this movie.
1.) What the fuck happened to Galvatron and HOW did Megatron get reincarnated (?) in this movie?
2.) Quintessa to my knowledge doesn't even exist in G1 Transformers. The Quintessons were the ones who actually created the transformers (to my knowledge) and they've appeared numerous times in the G1 animated cartoon series and in the 1986 animated movie.
3.) Wasn't Unicron hinted at in this movie? Or Nemesis Prime (I don't know who they fucking refer to Unicron as nowadays). Unicron, a planet who FUCKING devours other planets yet has never appeared in the recent movies despite him being a major threat to all living things. Unless they're going off his destruction in the 1986 movie, then I don't understand what happened to an actual threat in these movies.
4.) Did Optimus Prime get brain damage or something? How does he not remember the war that ravaged Cybertron (plus in the 1986 movie, Cybertron mainly consisted of Decepticons, with Megatron placing Shockwave in charge there if I remember correctly).
5.) Finally, what happened to the other Autobots and Decepticons? Skywarp, Thundercracker, Cyclonus, Dragstrip, Swindle, Vortex, and Blastoff to name the ones missing from the Decepticons side of things. It's clear that Swindle, Vortex, and Blastoff exist still considering that Brawl and Onslaught were around (and sadly died like bitches, thus crushing all hope of seeing Bruticus on the big screen).
I don't know, am I the only one who was annoyed by these things. I know these points are off topic but it had to be said.

The VFX in the first Transformers movie still hold up extremely well. The transformation scenes are fucking sick, and the sound design is great too - everything in the first Transformers movie has such a *punch* to it. Some of the comedy hasn't aged well, but scenes like the fight between Barricade and Bumblebee still look and feel outstanding, the level of detail is astounding.
