From an outsider view unaffected by her crimes I find myself questioning whether she is also a victim of her own inability to feel empathy. To what extent can you blame someone who simply cannot understand the impact their actions had. Maybe society should be identifying these mental cases earlier for the potential killer's sake as well as others.

Instead of all that, they are learning, why nobody can tell them what to do, they learning if they wants to be lesbian or gays, everything about sex,
The worse is how school talk to them about independence when they still very young and loose respect for their parents, and how to be lazy as an old dog.

A lot of times, 1 person is the psychopath/mastermind, and the other person does not have any thoughts or intentions of ever harming anyone!! The mastermind usually seduces the person to the point of making them feel as though they can not live without the other person, and it can be obsessive. Eventually, with a lot of manipulation and coercing, the mastermind convinces the other person to help become involved in their crime because the person loves them and needs to be with them. They will threaten to leave them if they don't help them and use every tactic they have to convince the person that what they are doing is right and defending the mastermind against others that are causing them harm!! This is the usual case. However, there are quite a few cases where 2 psychopaths meet each other and committ crimes for the thrill of it!!

Your comment makes me think of my friend's son who as an adolescent started keeping knives hidden in his room and would threaten the family so much, that they all put deadbolts on their bedroom doors. They couldn't get very much help for him until he finally broke the law and they were advised that he would now get help because he was "in the system", and he did for a while. But, once he got out became an adult, he declined all help and quickly became violent again. His parents refused to let him back home, but his grandparents felt sorry for him and took him in - against the parents' advice. Didn't take long before he assault his grandfather. The last I heard, he assaulted his boss and is now in prison.

It sounds insane to say, but young society right now is in the process of being desensitized with extreme gangster, horror, criminal entertainment; that if you add that to an already desensitized, detached mind, can go really sideways.
I remember in the early 90s when Gore's wife & the bored biddy's tried to censor records & art.
It was ridiculous because it was silly, obvious stuff like Black Sabbath, Prince, Madonna & Motley Crue records, but the "satinism" symbolism was so cartoonish & silly that their arguments were ridiculous.
Now through; between everything being purposely aimed at making kids identity confused, into dark s--t & crime gamer videos, it's actually made a difference.Surely not the cause, but it does affect them, at least from the kids I see.
Obviously this isn't why these kids did this, but it really doesn't help matters when society already feels so bizarre, divided & violent.
The government loves it, & wants them to be as confused as possible to make them into future voters.
Sounds like a tin foil theory, but I watch it in real time as we all do.
How I long for the days of a Zappa or Public Enemy record that we're cartoonish, protested against & laughable.
In this argument about degraded, young society, it's hard to deny that social media & glorification of all things violent & hard; it's something to consider.
Add to that the dumbing down of society makes for simple minded, delusions in kids who already lack boundaries.

Not everyone who has this disorder is bad but in many cases if it’s not treated properly and even enhanced by family members it can turn into this. I’m not excusing this girl whatsoever for what she did but lack of education on mental health is what most likely drove this girl to this. Then every time the child runs away, or gets picked up by police they are returned to their guardian, which sounds like it was her grandparents, and that's probably why she felt like she couldn't just run away. I’ve never heard a suspect speak so nonchalantly about the murder they’ve committed. She showed zero remorse and even said she wanted to kill her mother as well but Johnny was the one who said not to. She would not have stopped if she wasn’t caught. She clearly got a “high” off of people’s suffering. The “rush” she spoke about multiple times. How scary. Demons really walk among us.
Edit: I see a lot of people saying “demons” don’t exist. I didn’t necessarily mean the religious term of demon. When I see the word “demon” I associate it with pure evil. It’s clear she had mental issues. I’m speaking on the remorse. She showed no remorse and clearly doesn’t seem capable of understanding the gravity of the situation. It could absolutely be a result of prolonged abuse in childhood but at the same time, there ARE evil people out there who were raised in a normal, loving environment. Sometimes people are just evil, no reasoning behind it. It’s scary and unfortunate but true. Stay safe out there y’all.

They weren’t perfect at all but they loved us and continually sacrificed for us until we were grown. All their friends were traveling and relaxing in retirement while they were caring for us. Just 2 years after I moved out Grandpa died from cancer and Grandma was even more alone. She lived another 20 years. I adore them. I recognized and valued their sacrifices from a very young age and made it my mission to never cause them pain. I cannot imagine this level of selfishness, greed and evil. I agree in one sense but I personally believe theres more to it.
I believe its a testament to the detectives ability to treat her as a person in spite of the evil she did. At the end of the day, she probably didn't have the best home life and she's still young enough to recognize her mistakes and potentially grow.
As much as I see a compassionless killer. I also see a child molded by terrible circumstances, passed off to another family member, then all those bad norms took over in a new setting. Sadly misery loves company so her and the boyfriend came to the worst conclusions, and she made one of the worst choices imaginable after confirming none of her family will understand/be there for her in her young improperly adjusted mind.
Its bad circumstances and I'd venture to guess she doesn't even think to evaluate her own actions because she never picked up on that from her family dynamic at a young age. That makes her act up and not see the long-lasting effects it has on others. More specifically one day her parent(s) were probably fine, then the next they were angry. Then the next it was fine so all the bad from the day before doesn't matter... Their anger doesn't, my emotional response didn't, I guess emotions don't matter. This probably happened at far too young of an age for her so now shes all but emotionless, matter of fact and incapable of viewing her actions in the long-term. All because her autonomy as an individual never matter in her homelife so individuality as a concept is seen superficially somewhere in her foundational human make-up

I never said she needs reformation, I said she's young and can probably still be molded in a positive way because of that fact. Then I went into detail on how someone so young can become this way so people might be able to empathize with more specific details. I mentioned multiple times I see her for what she is, I guess because I didn't reiterate it closer to the end you must've forgotten while your blood started boiling because of internet letters.
None of that changes the fact that my long-winded messages' focus was on the understanding side of things though. First by the Detectives so they could get this interview from her so cleanly since judging her would've been all too easy. Then, hopefully, for anyone who stumbled across the comment maybe they could imagine themselves in a less than stellar childhood and see how someone so young can be molded to care so little in their teen years.
I don't know dude, hopefully you don't overfocus on one segment of my message again so you can actually try to understand what people are typing/saying. Instead, of simply letting your emotions pop onto your keyboard right from your gut. Life is analysis. If you can't analyze your own emotions, you'll never be able to see/really feel what people are conveying. Especially in a difficult format like internet typing

@JEFFQUICKLE9 its a technique and one that makes a good detective. If you come in close-minded and judgemental, that makes it easier for the person you're interviewing to do the same/to be resistant to you.
Not all cops can be detectives. It takes a strong heart to keep your emotions in control while you imagine your own grandparents being killed. Its natural for us to do that so your comment is a natural response, and simply try to understand that some cops become detectives for a reason. Controlling your emotions enough so a criminal can openly explain themselves to a friend rather than an enemy interrogating it out of them is the most humane and efficient way of handling situations like these

No matter what you say on here about her... if she chooses Jesus she get's saved, and if you ignore Jesus you are choosing eternal judgement against God... The Bible tells us this!!!!!!!!!!

Can’t imagine how the grandparent’s felt looking into the eyes of their granddaughter while she heartlessly looked back at them and murdered them or what they were thinking - all that love wasted? I don’t know what her
Psychiatric diagnosis is, but if she is a psychopath, they don’t feel emotions like most people. They cannot feel like “normal” people, and their brains are visibly different on multiple imagery tests. However, we don’t have the necessary info. to know for sure.
I do see signs of early child abuse in her. She mentions a step father which often leads to very bad things for the mother’s biological children. The females are markedly more likely to suffer SA by stepdad; whilst the boys are a perceived threat to the stepfather. This results in the skyrocketing chances (statistically) of the male child being severely abused/beaten & killed by a step father vs. biological father. I’m a biologist and we studied this extensively. It occurs in all primate animals. 😢 I don’t remember the exact statistics as this research was done 25+ years ago. I’m gonna look it up again as I suspect things might be getting worse. I certainly wasn’t surprised when she described her family (mom-stepdad-living conditions-education-etc.)
If it wasn’t for Johnny, this wouldn’t have happened. The fact that she is embarrassed about the weed indicates she does fear people will consider her a “bad girl” and her desire to kill her mother as well is a red flag that SA by the stepdad needs to be investigated.
      * just my opinions & my 2 cents. Sad! Very sad.

@@oakcode that’s the most stupid thing I’ve ever read, humans are social creatures, we have managed to survive so long because of that and being social means we need to have connections with each other and have feelings for each other so we can SURVIVE? On a biological standpoint, if there was a human that a pack didn’t like bc they were weird and didn’t care abt anything bc they didn’t have “feelings” they’d be left alone and eventually eaten, if evolution really got rid of feelings humanity would go down hill, we need feelings for our offspring to protect them too.. you’re beyond dumb, seek help and common sense, yeah there are people who unfortunately have something wrong in their brain making them a psychopath or sociopath but they have something wrong with them.. it’s not evolution.. ☠️
