My brother and I, drove 5 hours from Texas to Kansas to meet Father Martins and see the relic of St. Jude. I hope to meet all of these priests in this life or in the next and be able to worship and glorify the lord together.

In the US, in the early 2000s, there were only about a dozen Catholic priests practicing in the US. Now there are over 150. ("The Catholic church still practices exorcism...", Columbus Dispatch, 10/28/2022) But you are correct, more are needed. However, priests are appointed as exorcists by their bishops, they do not volunteer for the role.
You have such a great reason for being here. You are so important and valuable in God's wants. You know yourself. I wish I knew why I am here. I'm tired of having fear, doubt, and useless valuable existence.
Amazing!!! Love the show and have great admiration for all the priests in this, I pray for you all in the masses that I attend. May our Lord Jesus Crist continue to guide you our Lady protect you! 😊🙏
Prior to joining the Catholic Church, I attempted to join a Masonic Lodge, and my maternal grandmother's father was a Mason in the early 20th Century. I grew up in a protestant tradition and I didn't see anything inherently wrong with it, as all stories about my ancestor were positive. My college fraternity had strong Masonic roots, as most do. My job fell apart. My family was thrown out of our apartment and had many, many other issues. In my RCIA process, I spent time at Adoration renouncing the Masonic curses and since then, my life has improved significantly, though not completely. It's also worth taking it to Confession! Now that aside, we've reached out to our diocese to try to aide us in a blessing over our family to sever the final ties (my wife's maternal grandfather was also a Mason), whatever they are, but unfortunately, the diocesan ministry will not take us seriously!
From what I hear of Fr. Martins and the other exorcists, you don`t really need a specific blessing, but would benefit from breaking the masonic curses and renouncing its practices and associations. If you can, purchase Fr. Chad Ripperger's Deliverance Prayers for the Laity, it has very thorough prayers against masonic curses, and you can do yourself at a chapel, or ask a deacon or priest to supervise you and witness while you pray. I did that, because my stepfather's family has history of high-level masonry involvement.
Thank you Fathers! I so appreciate learning about the strategies of the evil forces that want to stay hidden. It is like knowing the battle plan of the enemy's army so you can better plan your strategies of resistance and attack! My husband died recently and I noticed thoughts coming into my head I would never think. I warned my youngest adult son, that lives with me, that we were extra vulnerable and to pay attention! sure enough he was under attack as well! My thought was, "Some people would consider committing suicide right about now." I wondered, , "Where did that come from? I never think like that!" As I considered it, I realized that if a person entertained that thought at all, another stronger one would come and you could get led down this "merry" path convincing you of this destruction! A few weeks later I was awakened at 5 am. Just lying there in the dark I was feeling all kinds of negative and condemning thoughts. It was scary. Remembering that demons cannot read our minds, even though I was feeling terrible, I smiled and whispered "Jesus". Boom, it was gone along with the memory of what all the negativity was about! It wasn't too long before they went away and we got left alone for the time being! Praise God!

I had a family member involved in the occult, and it was the same as you described with the masons. Even though he was at one point possessed, (and the demon used his mouth to verbally torment the person who would go to mass and obtain his eventual deliverance) he was never aware of anything demonic going on in our lives and would mock us for telling him about the things we heard, saw, and felt. After he fell badly ill and was bedridden for years, he stopped openly practicing the occult (I discovered he still did to some extent, but he wasn't openly casting money charms in the family room anymore) and seemed to no longer have any episodes of possession. I believe that person who would always go to masses to pray specifically for his deliverance got his sentence "commuted" from possession to a several year case of West Nile meningitis. I've also been dealing with a demon of false prophecy going to people (usually of a charismatic disposition; looking for emotion and excitement and going light on the actual discernment) and telling them things allegedly about my future and (slanted/biased and sometimes outright false takes on) things about what's going on with me. I assume this demon is a connection I picked up through his attempts at fortune telling. I'd appreciate if you would say a prayer for an end to that and for some of the damage this demonic rumor monger causes to be mitigated. I had a priest tell me I had to drop my duties and run off to join this religious order, which would have been an unmitigated disaster if I had listened. I have an intersex medical condition (gained a number of feminine features at puberty and have a fairly high voice; couldn't grow a beard until 27) which was partly obscured by being overweight. Now I'm losing weight and this demon has been telling a deacon (who is gossiping with others but never talked to me) something to the effect that a demon is telling me I'm trans or female or something similar. (I have had actual things told to me in prayer, but to my knowledge they are consistent with my medical condition, with the faith, and were a source of both spiritual as well as affective consolation in a time of distress over all this; I don't yet have a spiritual director and won't count that discerned until I do, but I'm confide the deacon's not hearing anything authentic because A: God doesn't spread rumors, and B: whatever he's saying to others about what I'm being told in prayer doesn't seem to match anything I'm actually being told, which has been largely personal and about my family and medical history. It's possible both of what I've heard and what the deacon heard are false, but I doubt it's possible that what he's gossiping about having heard is true.)

Please pray for my mother. She’s a classically trained dancer and choreographer and she believes yoga doesn’t have spiritual ramifications. She’s not a practitioner but she’s convinced the devil has no authority over how she chooses to stretch.
I was sad when Father Carlos Martins shared the nice treat he and his team get after an intense Exorcist and he was the only one out of them who did it. I love you! God’s victory over the devil does call for celebrations and it’s well deserved.
I never went to my priest with a diagnosis. I just told him what was going on and let him figure it all out. I had to have an intense psych exam and hard evidence. He gave it to another priest because he didn't want to deal with it. The new priest eventually established a whole team out of my case. Six years in and there is still a lot going on, but I feel more protected.
When I was about 8 or 9 years old I was tormented by a visual image that would appear every time I closed my eyes to sleep. It was a strange symbol. I tried to open and close my eyes numerous times, and each time I closed my eyes this symbol would appear. This occurred over months. As an young adult, I saw the Freemasonry symbol and recognized it as the strange symbol I had seen during childhood.

50 years ago I was in a running class at the YMCA. I knew Yoga was wrong and they were using it for stretching out after workouts, so I did not form the poses and just did my own thing. Do you think the evil could still rub off on me from other people? There was no one saying "prayers" or spiritual stuff but listening to this podcast makes me wonder. My 50 year old daughter has several autoimmune diseases and has suffered a lot. She was a baby then and has always been a faithful Catholic. She did make some questionable choices in her 20s but nothing like the usual ones you hear about. Been married for 22 years and her husband is the DRE at their parish and was in Seminary for a number of years.
I have an urgent question. My husband has a Buddhist friend who has convinced him to join the Elks Society. My hubby has an initiation ceremony coming up. Is there any spiritual danger connected with this organization?
I pray for vocations and formators in my Morning Offering. I've read that there are many men who approach the Church to discern the priesthood. No doubt there are a number who discern a different path in life, but there are also those who keenly feel called to the priesthood even after discerning out, and the reason they leave the seminary is that the formators reject them for reasons such as being "medieval," which some equate with being "rigid." Certainly the extremely stern, jansenist priest will frighten sinners away -- I've known some people who were hopeless for most of their lives, until facing death and asking to make confession. Their priests had denied them absolution when they were very young, without offering guidance as to how to restore relationship with God. That's the definition of rigid. But holding to tradition isn't rigid. I thank God that there are current formators who recognize sincere piety in seminarians who are also drawn to tradition. St. Faustina's Prayer for Priests describes the ideal priest: Bestowing absolution through the mercy of Jesus bringing sinners to our Lord.
It's a lonely life being a victim as well. There are certain priests that want nothing to do with you, and others in the church that have to know what is going on, so it's uncomfortable attending Mass and other church events when you don't want to stand out or feel different.
I am sorry you are going through that. You can ask Jesus directly to help you ♥ and get in the bible & read every day. My mom got deliverance that way. She'd pray everyday & read the bible. Psalms or started in Matthew..I think is what she did. Hope you don't get offended. I know you didn't ask for suggestions but was just trying to share what delivered my mom. ☺
@@cannephillipskeep going. Ask the Lord for strength. Get to confession as regularly as you can and receive the Eucharist as much as you can. I just found out an ancestor from the civil war era was a Mason. Does that still matter? They were all Protestants. Baptists and Amish. I'm the only Catholic on either side of the family for as far back as I can tell. It's the same (paternal) line that produced the first Amish Bishop in America. WNC, PA. I've been asking the family, no one seemed to know. Then, my cousin visited the family cemetery in Western NC to see if there was damage from the terrible tragedy that occurred there. A few days ago, she posted the gravestone and information about my civil war era - ancestor. She stated he was a Mason.
There is a whole episode of The Exorcist Files devoted to Free Masonry… can’t remember what it’s called. In the case, Father Martins finds out that there was a free mason curse that was put on the victim’s bloodline, so it is possible there are implications down the family line from them being a mason. In the case, Father has the victim do renunciation prayers which helps liberate them.
Msgr. Rossetti does deliverance prayer streams and the prayers to break the freemasonry curses are included in those. His YT channel is St. Michael's Center For Spiritual Renewal. He also has a website and an app which includes those prayers too. But you could start by going to a recording to one of the prayer streams and praying with him. I once did so and those prayers were incredibly powerful. Something I was experiencing (a spiritual attack) immediately broke off.
In addition to joining one or more of the sessions of Monsignor Rossetti I would buy the Deliverance Prayers for the Laity book by Fr. Ripperger and read the prayers outloud with a deacon inside a Cstholic Church (as described in the book).
The catholic church doesn't act right away when someone claims to be possessed. They get assessed by the exorcist and the person has to undergo psychological and physical health assessments so the exorcist can assess the situation to deem whether he has moral certitude that it is demonic before an exorcism will be considered
No worries. In the case of the Catholic Church as it has been discussed in this podcast, they aren’t careless, quite the opposite. The process to have a priest pray over you or for the person to be exorcised is a lengthy one, as these priests are busy individuals and don’t have time to waste.
@@apbls Right but having to wait while this is happening to you is already hard enough. People cannot exorcise themselves, it's like giving a baby a sword and saying learn to use this before you can be protected ? I understand that we need to be spiritually diligent but it comes off as negligent
@@Praywarrior-z2eI agree there’s a certain negligence in most of the diocese on this like they’d rather not deal with it and ok to leave you on our own
You can let them know that you’re concerned that they might not be aware of the impact of their actions and maybe offer to send an email or text message with a link to this episode of the podcast. Sending them to speak with someone else or refer them to the local priest could also be an option but not every priest is knowledgeable in these topics of curses and FM curses in particular. God Bless your caring heart ❤. We must pray for those deceived, for their radical conversion.
It makes me happy to know that there are more and more young men answering the call to priesthood. I have been offering prayers every night for that. ❤

@@matthewpalopoli9393 Ok, thank you. I'll look for that episode.
@@barborazajacova7633 Yes, I’m familiar with him , thank you.
In addition to joining one or more of the sessions of Monsignor Rossetti I would buy the Deliverance Prayers for the Laity book by Fr. Ripperger and read the prayers outloud with a deacon inside a Cstholic Church (as described in the book).

The carelessness of the church to act right away for the possessed is dangerous, not just for the possessed but people around them
The catholic church doesn't act right away when someone claims to be possessed.
@@Praywarrior-z2eI agree there’s a certain negligence in most of the diocese on this like they’d rather not deal with it and ok to leave you on our own
I’ve seen church members cars with the mason emblem in the back of their car. What should we do if anything?
You can let them know that you’re concerned that they might not be aware of the impact of their actions and maybe offer to send an email or text message with a link to this episode of the podcast. Sending them to speak with someone else or refer them to the local priest could also be an option but not every priest is knowledgeable in these topics of curses and FM curses in particular. God Bless your caring heart ❤.
We must pray for those deceived, for their radical conversion.
Is a person who was possessed at age 14, never received exorcism, and died at age 56 finally free of the demon upon death?
As long as the person repented of any sins, yes.
If he died a Catholic in a state of grace, reconciled to God through the sacraments of the Church.
Otherwise, no.
I would think is up to the Father Almighty to decide, but you can pray for the repose of the soul of this person.
