We’ve been using this machine for years, minus the grinding option, and found it to be great. Often I just leave the K Cup port empty & it fills my cup perfectly for a hot cup of tea!
Only wish this one had the burr grinder instead of the blade because I would’ve bought it since I like the combo of the K-cup on the side as a space-saver. Decided to go with the DGB-850 instead. Have yet to find a Cuisinart with a burr grind & brew + k-cup option.
Hey Erin, given a choice which would you prefer: DCC-1200 or DCC-3200? I have a 1200 (which I love) but want a back-up since they do eventually fail. It seems like Cuisinart is phasing them out, but a few places still carry them. Love your reviews BTW.
If the water on the carafe reservoir has been unused for weeks, is it easy to drain and refill that reservoir to get fresh water. Is there a drain plug.

it'd be nice if they added a feature once you hit the pod button, it redirects the beans into the single coffee pot

Can you use already ground beans if you want to?
