    Good review. Thank you. Around 26:15, you speak about pushing down K-cup or letting machine do it. When you live in high altitude (e.g. Denver), it's helpful to manually push down the cup to prevent air pressure from blowing fine particles into the water discharge needle. Otherwise, over time, it clogs that discharge hose and it's awkward to try to clean. Hope this helps.

    Thank you for this very detailed ultra helpful video! Didn’t realize there were so many details not in the manual!
    Regarding the single serve K cup brewer, mine always comes out watered down and not so hot. Tried different K pods, same result. Got a Cuisinart Reusable filter cup as well, same watered down not so hot coffee (creamer doesn’t dissolve and just clots on the surface). The carafe brewer works excellently though.
    Any suggestions for the single serve K cup brewer?

    • @JustADad
      @JustADad  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would use a meet thermometer and check the temp you should end up with at least a 165 degree cup of coffee. If its brand new then it should work, if you have used it for a while then I would say it might need to be descaled with vinegar.

    Thank you for the reviews on this coffeemaker. I was the viewer who asked you to review it. The funny thing is that I have been back and forth on buying this one and the touchscreen you also just reviewed and I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw you did both. My next question is which one did you like better and had the best coffee taste. Which one would you recommend to buy? Thank you again for your great detailed reviews!

    • @JustADad
      @JustADad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is awesome! Thanks so much for the Great Idea and letting me know it was you!!!! This is a great question, but these really are two very different coffee makers. The touch screen makes a great pot of coffee and looks amazing, but it only makes coffee for a coffee pot and the 14 cup pot is kinda big but you don't have to fix all 14 cups everytime. the Grind and brew is a big coffee maker. If you want simple and easy to clean the touch screen. The Grind and brew seems like it will be a lot of work and I was not supper impressed with the K cup side. I think the top needle on the K cup side is not very good. It is also very loud and not the best coffee grinder. But if you want it to brew you a pot of coffee in the morning and grind the bean right before it brew the pot then this is a nice machine. It is a very good grind and brew. I have tried other grind and brew and cuisinart is the best. I would probably get me a grinder that is seperate from the coffee machine and add the coffee grinds to the coffee pot myself. No sure if I helped, and thanks so much for staying in touch, I am glad you reached out and let me know it was you!!!!

      @@JustADad Yes..that was very helpful! I’m thinking of getting away from the K cup coffee because it doesn’t taste as good as brewing a pot but sometimes the convenience of a k cup and having hot water on demand is nice. That’s why I have been so torn on what to purchase because it’s great to have both but if the Cuisinart k cup side is not as good that might be what decides it. I have a Keurig K-elite now which works well. I can’t wait to see your comparison videos with these 2 coffeemakers. You made my day with these videos..Thanks again and love your channel!

      OK so what I’m saying is I put the K cup hot chocolate into the dispenser. Just like you with a K cup coffee. It drips all over the place. I don’t know what is wrong with it. I’m not sure if this just doesn’t take hot chocolate k cups. Or if you are supposed to do something different than you would do if you were making a coffee k cup rather than a hot chocolate k cup.

    Just A Dad, HELP! Yesterday when I was filling the grinder part of this coffee maker with beans, 2 beans fell into the water reservoir. I could not fish them out. (There was already 8 cups of water in the reservoir) So I brewed the coffee, and it brewed fine. I just went to fish them out of the empty reservoir, and now I can’t find them! I do have that carbon filter in place. I’m scared to pull it out and have the beans possibly fall further down. Or do you think the beans already fell in the water tubes?? I don’t know what to do, lol. Any advice?
