It's insane how Larian rewards players for trying all kinds of different routes where the slightest changes can result in completely new scenes. They really went above and beyond with this game.
Wow this is awesome!! Not sure I could bare to let the tieflings die just for a rare cutscene lol still it's so insane to think of how much time and thought goes into the writing for all these different outcomes! 👏

Funnily enough, I just played BG3 for the first time last month (and finished it last week); and I already saw this scene on my first (completely blind) playthrough. I had no idea that it was rare; but I very much went all in on stealth, and completely skipped the fight at the Grove (I have since started a second playthrough, and saw how much content I missed in Act 1, because I simply ran past everything, including the Gith's Red Dragon, straight to the mountain pass). Funny to see how this is something most people don't normally see though!
The steps to getting this cutscene, since it’s a process. 1. Kill the teiflings at the Grove 2. Enter the Shadow-lands and make way to Last Light Inn 3. When meeting Jaheira, instead of Mol vouching for you, it’s Marcus, the true soul who’s planning to kidnap Isobel. Play along with Marcus’s ruse so Jaheira lets you by. 4. Once free to roam, go upstairs to Isobel’s room. Marcus will be there (or heading there). Speak with him in Isobel’s room, play along for a minute if you like before attacking him, or just attack him straight away. Must be before you meet Isobel. 5. Make sure he has his turn to call the demon things to help him. Fight him and the winged creatures. During the fight, Isobel will run in and aid you. 6. This cutscene is directly after I finished that fight. So meeting Isobel for the first time and already having saved her from Marcus will trigger this.
@@4ndr38r1x1 if you go in from the mountain pass, join the harpers in the ambush and then let them take the drider's moonlantern back to Last Light, Isobel gives it to you when she gives you the blessing.

If you goto last light inn first before meeting the drider group, the same harpers that ambush them, will ask for your help at last light inn. If you enter the Shadow-cursed lands through the Mountainpass, you will be directed to a small goblin camp. Kar’niss, the big spider guy, can be summoned by playing the Spider’s lyre, and he carries the lantern. Pretend to be a true soul until he agrees to lead you to Moonrise safely. On the way, you will be ambushed by Harpers in the typical ambush spot. Betray Kar’niss and help the Harpers kill him. The Harpers will then take the lantern and mark Last Light on your map as thanks for the help. When you get to Last Light, Isobel will have the lantern to give you.
