“I’d never marry you, even if the very heavens demanded it.” *DAMN*
You know I have a theory that the reason he was so cold at first when first meeting miyo was because he had to deal with a lot of girls who acted a lot like her sister. I bet he was getting really sick of it. He was surprised by miyo's personality when she showed up.
FUCK YEAH! GO TELL HER! GOD DAMN XD
"Worst she can say is no"
There is nothing more attractive than a man standing like that for his lady as Kiyoka did for Miyo.
True
It seems fitting that Kiyoka rejected Kaya since she never actually accepted Miyo as her family and as her equal
Sure there is! A big pile of cash, payed vacation, a day spent hiking with your dog, a ham pizza from my favourite restaurant... Take your pick.
If Satou from Tales of Wedding Rings tried to fight Kiyoka he would end up losing....and had some regrets( just a wht if )
And Miyo is way better than Hime
Blame the parents, Kaya's mother raised her that way along with their father. Kaya's mother was also jealous of Miyo's mother and the lover of her father before he was arranged to marry Miyo's mother. Before she died(Miyo's mom) when her father saw that she wasn't presenting any signs of power he basically shut off from Miyo, he "couldn't" love her since she was normal.
And he didn't, when he remarried her stepmother bullied Miyo and her father didn't care, from reducing her to a servant, to moving her into a room smaller than the servants, to cutting down her mom's sakura tree, breaking (I think it was a hair ornament..) an ornament from her mother, constantly talking down to her and encouraging her daughter to do the same. Kaya was raised venomously, because she was the only child in their family to possess a special power that would one day be passed on.
Kaya is nasty, but it isn't entirely her fault. Her world view was completely screwed from childhood to where she never even treated Miyo like a sister despite her always being kind. The fact that in this moment as a fire is spreading out and her look of not understanding Kiyoka's statements tell me she was always taught to think she was right, superior, and never wrong in any situation which is a little sad. But her punishment is just. I just wish her parents got a more severe punishment.
Same here. Kaya became this way because of her parents and spoiling her did more harm than good. The rest of the world is going to be much harsher on Kaya if she doesn't shape up
Perhaps but I believe she holds haf the blame because the choice between right and wrong was hers to make. Idk what kind of environment she lived in but surely enough she must have heard at least once from others that what she did wasn't right. So, she deserves her punishment.
Sure it's not entirely her fault but still, what she did to her is...
@@khadz1705 That's the thing. She was completely spoiled during her childhood, and had no one to tell her off, all because her parents brought her up that way.
She's a piece of shit, but Im pretty sure she didn't choose to be one. She unknowingly was made to be one.
Ironically I think of the classic Willy Wonka movie with the Oompa Loompa song of Veruca Salt
“Who do you blame when your kid is a brat?
Pampered and spoiled like a Siamese cat?
Blaming the kids is a lie and a shame,
You know exactly who's to blame:
The mother and the father!”
My god i just love Kiyoka he might be cold at first but as you get to know him he is the most caring and friendliest friend ever. Also he isn't afriad to stand up for his friends or his dreams whenever the situation comes. Best Anime male character
She only wanted Kiyoka because she thought he was handsome, she didn't want him before that...and most likely, she would've been kicked out in three days like all the others before Miyo.
3 days is generous. Less than a day in my opinion
You know, hearing Kaya watching her reactions towards her mother sobbing and the fact her house is in fire, it only shows just how high she sees herself. But also how useless she truly is. Take away Miyo and her mother away for a minute. When there is a fire starting what is the first thing you do? Look for an escape route, grab the closest person next you and take them outside. Kaya just stood there as if WAITING for someone to tell her what to do. No, I am not leaning any ounce of sympathy for her. Just brain scratching on how truly useless she is in a situation. Kaya was expected to have someone take care or do it for her. Even giving her a reason to think. Now, bring Miyo in. She knows based on her hardship of growing up. Miyo knows first hand what to, how, and where to start. That truly is why Kudo chose Miyo, based off of the hardship she dealt with, the loss of everything, but despite that if she is properly taken care and guided, it is easily rewarded. Kaya would either sob, cry, whine, or blame someone for her inability to grow for herself. So, Kaya got what she deserved
None of the people who abused this girl got even a fraction of the karma they absolutely deserved at the end.
Kaya deserved every word of that.
Definitely
About time, someone told her that she wasn’t as special as she thought she was.
Abso-(insert cursing)-lutely
Dang straight.
it was still to soft tbh, i would have done things to her, just for laying hands on miyo, that she would never want to see her own reflection ever again.
I fell in love with this anime. This scene is easily one of my top ten “anime characters getting what they deserved” moments. Miyu was ignored by her father just because she didn’t appear to possess any supernatural abilities. Which is ironic because *spoiler alert* she does: she has the power to infiltrate and manipulate others via their dreams. Kinda like Inception. She has one of the greatest powers ever and her father essentially abused her for no reason. Her stepmother abused and ridiculed her simply because she was jealous that Miyo’s mother was the first wife instead of her and Kaya, the younger sister, abused Miyo for no other reason than because she was taught by her parents to do so. They all got what they deserved. I just wish they had learned about Miyo’s powers. That realization and they’re reaction would have been the icing on the cake.
I haven’t read the manga, so they still might.
Es verdad, me hubiera encantado que supieran de lo poderosa y sobresaliente que es, habría sido épico
Speaking of powers, this anime never explained how and why people have supernatural abilities which are passed down from parent to child
They most likely will through gossip since she attended a party at the end of the series or someone tells them about like Arata or Kazushi or Miyo herself tells them
Jealousy is normal and you don't have to like everyone but if you really hate Miyo so much then just leave her alone and let her live her life. She's done nothing but helped you with everything and tried her best taking care of you all so if you really feel so jealous about Miyo then the least you could have done is talk to her and ask if there's something you could do to change. Sisters stick together and support eachother no matter what happens, how different they're lives are and how different they are i thought Kaya would have a change of heart but she turns out to be the meanst sister ever. Her actress is amazing thoug
Absolutely 😍
@@AnimeN7 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
But it's not completely her fault because she grew up like that if your parents told you from the day you born that you the best in everything you do, you don't do anything wrong, you can use everyone how you want it and your sister slave for you, she is nobody 🤨 how can you not be selfish and spoiled, self centered B 😮💨
She does, however, get a taste of her own medicine much later on. She learns what it means to be the one having to serve others and be looked down on for it.
@@kailuun Serves her right
whenever you encounter a shitty brat, 90% of the time its the parents fault
this is no exception
Brats have brains too😂. Life teaches you
Bro gave her a dose of reality
She needed this
You can see and hear kaya is unsure in the beginning, but as she goes into the speeches and sayings she’s been brainwashed with, the words feed her confidence and we see her almost commanding him again by the time she’s done speaking. Then he cuts her off perfectly
Just know that Kaya will face her karma by the end. Oh yes, she most definitely will.
Girl has the equivalent of getting a 9-5 job now lmao
Thats so what bullies do. They think they are the king. In reality most of them have happy day while most of the victim commit suicide and some just have trauma although there some of it managed to overcome it. I know the victim feeling, I received a slash on my forehead. Took me more than 10 years to overcome the fear and to accept that scar.
Man... I hope your forehead is alright btw, because it's proof that you went through something not everyone survives but you did. 👍🏼
I loved "even if the heaven's demanded it"" Love this series!! #MiyoKi4Eva
Same
Kaya definitely got what she deserved if only she had learned to happy and grateful for what already had instead of like always trying to take everything that make's Miyo happy to make her miserable and never being satisfied with what she has
Im sure she will throughly on her own medicine taste
😯😌
You got what you wanted but you lost what you had.
Frog and princess
I genuinely wonder what outcome Kaya expected.
She became a servant in someone’s household in the manga
@@ivanzambrano6625 Maybe that will do her some good and teach her that the world doesn't revolve around her.
@@ivanzambrano6625 oh, I know what happens to Kaya. What I meant was how on earth did she think that Kiyoka would have any interest in marrying her after pulling a stunt like that.
I don't understand how the law works in the town they all live in but Miyo's abusive family should be in prison for how they treated her while Miyo should have spent her childhood with her grandfather and cousin. How come Miyo's grandfather never had a legal battle with her father for custody of her after her mother passed away?
Probably likely cuz they’re poor or something especially since Miyo did not possess the powers that her father wanted. So likely he never rewarded them with any dowry whatsoever after that.
In ancient times, a married woman is the responsibility of the husband. Here, we are talking about Miyo specifically. Her father has all rights on her until she's married. That's how life of women and the culture was in the past. The grandfather cannot take Miyo because as long as her dad is alive, culturally and legally, she is the responsibility of the father until she gets a husband. Abuse was not uncommon in those times. Doing household chores and being locked up in a room and beaten with a stick was passed off as disciplining their child. Besides, with their wealth, no-one would really know what happens behind close doors. Kudos could find out because he's wealthier and more powerful.
Girl got humbled real quick
Seriously she doesn’t deserve anything
I wonder if he would have backhanded Kaya if his hands weren't full at the moment.
The funniest part is none of their misfortunes would’ve happened had the Saimoris just left Miyo alone.
Now they're seething in their new little house after losing everything lmao
@@anglegrass And it’s hilarious to think about.
@@annieandelsieofarendelle3294 they are coping and seething especially Kanoko
@@anglegrassFor all she wanted to be the lady of the Saimori household, it was ultimately her own actions that led to her and her family being disgraced and outcasted from high society, and all because she couldn't accept Miyo having the slightest bit of happiness.
@@annieandelsieofarendelle3294 well that's what happens if their ego is far up their ass
The fact that the sister didn’t think that miyo has a gift…. Only to find out miyo is actually way more powerful than those fools will ever be 😂
0:25 Yeah, she is waaayy stronger! A MILLION TIMES STRINGER THAN YOU (censored)!
Yeah, I bet you run away in the moment you see demons. While your sister face them head on.
Do you think Kaya deserves to be alone with how Miyo's stepmother raised her to be a spoiled brat while Koji ended up with someone new?
If anything, its the parents’ fault (Kaya’s parents and Miyo’s stepmom)
Spoilers from light novel: Kaya has redemption but not the couple after they put Miyo and Kaya through both physically and psychologically
She was redeemed? When? The only mention of her that she begrudgingly sent a congratulatory letter to Miyo and Kudo's wedding.
@@anglegrass possibly some blogger thought she already redeem aside congratulating Miyo and Kudo’s wedding
@@ponytailmoth8548 she didn't tho. She 'begrudgingly' sent a congratulatory letter to Miyo. Which means she's still bitter from what happened
@@anglegrassAt least she’s trying compared to their parents she put in the effort to congratulate her older sister showing that she’s making progress
This scene here is why I'll always re-watch this show.
Lmao we just gotta rewatch this one.
This is real reasons why I made Kaya as Cartman from South Park
(stares at her with menacing eyes)
I really really tried to watch this show because it looked interesting. But I couldn’t finish it simply because of the excessively poor treatment that the one girl received. Especially by individuals who were supposed to be members of her family.
As an individual who was bullied pretty mercilessly when I was a kid, even though it wasn’t by my own family thankfully, I have to say that I have quite literally zero tolerance for this kind of thing. It also doesn’t help matters that one of the characters is basically the poster child for the stereotypical evil stepmother. And then there’s the fact that the younger sister basically believes that the world revolves around her. I find it really stupid that just because her sister was actually exhibiting happiness. She got upset and wanted to take what little happiness her sister had. Thankfully, from what I have read, the blonde haired sister does basically end up living the life that the other young woman lived in that she basically loses all standing and is essentially forced to start working as a servant in a household that is apparently extremely strict. And frankly, I’m happy that this happened.because entitlement is probably one of the worst things you can give a person.
Love that this #### gets humble pie. If only the real world was like this....
The certain word that starts with the letter "C" suits this one very much.

Kaya's parents did enable her, however, she still has free will at the end of the day. Kaya still bullied Miyo because she chose to
@@DragonGoddess18 im glad that miyo will never see her again
Well in the end her bad behaviour is what she choose to be. So it's also her fault. She has to learn to be a better person.
I hate is that Myo's family and that sister she's too spoiled rotten I would lecture her and take her powers away as a lesson
It’s the parents fault
She got the chance to stop when Miyo left for Kudo's house. But, she didn't. It's like she doesn't think. How self-absorbed must you be to go as far as kidnapping and torture? Personally, I feel like she should have been put to jail. But, having her family ruined and having to work and be looked down upon is also satisfying
@@khadz1705 it would have been great if we got an epilogue of this season showing how Miyo's half sister and stepmother are doing with how miserable they must be cause of their own actions.
