This is why I have no sympathy for the house destruction. He even warned them, tried to point out the fire powers + wood buildings was stupid but they did it anyway. (I mean not counting how much I lost based on how badly they treated Miyo.)
Tbh I was an I not kinda happy and excited about how he came for her rescue and destroyed the entire household for her I mean how can I not admire that!
Who could believe that Kiyoya is the first one to be concerned about Miyo since the only two people who did that is her late mother and Koji? What would have happened if he inflicted the same amount of pain on the devilish sister and stepmother which they did to Miyo?
Sadly this does happen irl where someone’s whole world revolves around a very abusive environment, giving them a loss of hope that there’s anyone out there that would care for them.
He'd be in some hot water as the act will be interpreted by the general public as an abuse of his power as a high-ranking official, especially since his targets are women. Stripping the stepsister of her nobility was the best he could do.
That's to be expected. Firstly, Miyo is from a prestigious family meaning that not many can go against her family to save her. Even if they see her being abused, they'd avoid her in case the abuse falls on them and their family too. Remember the maid that lost her job for simply defending Miyo? Worst could happen to others. As for commoners who sees her abuse, they have zero power to go against her family. Secondly, Miyo had limited access to the outside. She wasn't allowed to leave the property often. Most of the time, she remained inside the property. Since few people know her, it's natural that she lost hope and only has few people who cares for her. Miyo's family isolated her from the outside world as a form of abuse but also to avoid her from communicating with others or getting insight through various relationships that she isn't useless. For them to continue to abuse her without her defending herself, Miyo needed to continue to think of herself as useless.
What would've happened is the very moment the episode ended you'd see fans everywhere online exploding about how 1) it was so deserved and 2) how the episode was the best one yet
I binge watched this and I have to say, it’s one of my top favorite romance anime’s of all time, I even got emotional and was so happy when Miyo found happiness and Kiyoka realized how important Miyo was to him 😢
@ same like I don’t cry much for anime scenes but I will unless it hits me in the feels or really got to me and this anime, it really got to me which is why I love it
I have to wonder like... what was their thought process? Very obviously lie to the high ranking officer you're trying to arrange a marriage to and then attack him when he calls you out. What did they think he'd just accept the marriage after he got beaten?
Yeah. I mean, couldn’t he come at them with legal backup for like, kidnapping? Or being in breach of contract cus she was actually arraigned to marry him? Or even assault?
*"There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in a storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man."* Kiyoka proved why that is so accurate here. Never mess with a gentle man, just because a gentle man prefers to avoid violence doesn't make him weak, it makes him strong. True strength isn't using power to abuse and torment others, it's using your power to help and protect others. Just look at a parent that is acting to protect their child. There is nothing more frightening than being on the wrong end of someone's wrath when they are acting in the defense of a loved one. I also loved how Kiyoya indirectly said to Kaya: *"You may be pretty on the outside, but on the inside you are beyond repulsive."* Which is true. She may look cute and pretty on the outside, but on the inside she couldn't possibly be any uglier.
When lord kudo finally had miyo in his arms and was shutting down the abusive sister his glare and anger reminded me almost of a mix between pissed off inuyasha and seshomaru. 😨 the inuyasha side being the protective side of lord kudo while the seshomaru side is him calling those fools out on their behavior and not tolerating the bs from the abusive family towards miyo.
I felt the ml should have done something to that evil girl and step mom and the fact the other guy still talk kindly to the evil girl the next day like he didn’t witness that evil demon didn’t torture the fl and then tried to replace her and be the ml wife. This part really let me down. She should have gotten physical punished.
No es que Kaya sea mala. En realidad su madre la educó así, para transformarla en lo que es, la tipica niña rubia caprichosa, mimada y que maltrata y aterroriza a su propia hermana por tener lo lindo que tiene que fue instruido por su madre.
@@mariagruber2895sorry that excuse doesn't work for me anymore. This B crossed the line the second she laid hands on Mio. Unless she gets a good redemption Arc like "I was the real Saint" or even "Weakest Tamer" (bare minimum). She's a B who needs punishment.

I don't understand how the law works in the town they all live in but Miyo's abusive family should be in prison for how they treated her while Miyo should have spent her childhood with her grandfather and cousin. How come Miyo's grandfather never had a legal battle with her father for custody of her after her mother passed away?
Probably because back then, family issues are private affairs unless someone gets murdered. Being hit or verbally abused was seen as a private affair, nothing for the police to handle. That was the norm everywhere
@@iBeFloe I have a lot of respect for Japan and its culture, but their beliefs on privacy and how to handle it are BS. America has it's issues too but we usually try to end abuse when we find out it's happening.
Because such things were mostly handled in house. To have the public know what is happening would cause the family to lose face which is everything to the Japanese. Some families don't even survive such scandals when their dirty laundry is aired out.
That's medieval Japan. Abuse of girls is ignored by saying along the lines of "it's a family problem". Japan isn't the utopia western otakus make it out to be. It has its own social problem like in every country.
I tried really hard to watch this show. But unfortunately I couldn’t. Not because it was a bad show or the characters were bad or anything like that. But rather because I couldn’t stand both the petulant attitudes of the stepmother and the younger half sister or really 99% of the people, in the story aside from the two leads. And this is mostly I think stemming from the simple fact that as a kid I was bullied pretty mercilessly. And so whenever I see bullying done in media, even if it’s obviously not meant to be the right thing which is thankfully 99% of the time, I guess it just drums up some feelings that get me very angry. Honestly, I actually feel that the perpetrators in this particular case got off much lighter than they should have. Sure, they lost their standing along with their wealth and everything and the half sister ends up working at a another families home who are apparently known for not tolerating even a single mistake. I really feel that that was too lenient. Now I’m not saying that the family members deserved to be executed or anything. As much as I would love that. But I’m thinking maybe , they would basically be forced to have to start living in essentially like a shantytown. I think another thing that really irritates me about this show is I can’t stand spoiled people. Be adults or children. And the half sister is practically the poster child for a spoiled person. I mean she’s not spoiled rotten she’s spoiled to the point of desiccation.
Felt bad for the childhood friend but admired him for still honoring the marriage after all that happened. Really hope the sister changed. And he got his happy ending.
