- My first video where I use movie clips, I know it could be better, but this is best I can do right now.

I don't think people truly understand what this horse meant to not only sports but the country. He was truly God's horse and people got to witness the closest thing to perfection you will ever see.

Nothing's impossible with God and He broke the mold when Secretariat was born. The greatest horse ever to run and for 50 years his record still holds. 💗🌷. I couldn't have sold him as she did because Secretariat saved her dad's horse farm.
Actually Riva Ridge saved the farm, he provided the time for Secretariat to become the horse he became. Secretariat was just 2 and still being trained to be a race horse when Riva won the derby and Belmont

@@marylawson6060 your not the only one that has said that it a common mistake. The movie is my favorite movie but they changed several of the facts in the movie, it’s a Disney movie not a documentary
@@johnwalsh3215 I not the only one. Makes me feel better. There is another video about Secretariat and I mentioned about the farm and others talked about Riva Ridge saying it saved her dad's horse farm. I love the movie and I cry when he's running at Belmont Stakes and comes around the corner and they sing Oh Happy Day. And the other owner says this is impossible when Secretariat ran like the wind. I get gabby. Sorry.

I didn't think Jesus is the "creator." I thought it's supposed to be "God." You gave the glory to the wrong entity, if either exist, which I doubt.

Obviously Secretariat loved to run. I've watched his videos, let's just say a time or two and it finally occurred to me, I don't know what triggered it, he may have been cheated by only letting him race what was it two maybe three years. Yes he was a horse but he seemed to have an ego, his head snapped up when he heard cameras and saw the flash. At the Preakness he lagged wayback and then turned on the Jets and just blew them away. And of course the Belmont was just a demolition of the entire field. In Secretariat's long retirement he was basically a spectacle for fans to come and see him in his corral, seemed to relish beating the other horses and he was denied that pleasure. He really was not just another horse especially when compared to all those he defeated on the racetrack and seemed to love doing it. Secretariat was the best part of horseracing that there will ever be. Somewhat similar to Muhammad Ali and boxing. Better days gone by.

Big Red was going faster at the end of the race than the beginning. Some where he is still running. A perfect horse with thunder in his hooves.
Actually the final 1/4 mile in Belmont was the slowest of the race, he ran it in 25 seconds, the second 1/4 mile was the fastest of the race at 22 3/5 seconds. He could have easily kept running when he crossed the line, some people timing the race kept the timers going and he broke Swaps record time in 1 5/8 mile time of 2:38 1/5 by 4/5 of a second and he was being slowed after crossing the line

God had nothing to do with this. When they did an investigation after his death. They found him heart was twice the size of any other horse!

Big Red Broke Shams Heart when Sham tried to run with Big Red in the Belmont Sham was a great Horse But Big Red destroyed him in the Belmont NO Horse will ever Beat Big reds Belmont record R.I.P. Big Red
@@rickienicholson8039well, Sham did push Red. He cracked a quarter at about 7/8 pole, nevertheless, Sham is his own kind of legend. Love them both
