James Hollis is the most accessible source of Jung depth psychology and an absolute life-saver for anyone going through the middle passage.

I have enormous respect for James Hollis. I am very grateful for his clear speaking, and clear writing. I was fortunate to participate in several workshops when I lived in Toronto. His authenticity impressed me . . . and converted me.

The “personalities , ticks and addictions we prefer to hide behind than rather step fully forward and cross that bridge of fire 🔥 become who we authentically are.

I could listen to James Hollis all day. His insight and eloquence are thrilling to the spirit. What gifts of clarity and encouragement in a world that increasingly disoriented and distracted from its most basic, life-giving imperatives.

Thank you Allison! "If you can't take the heat don't light the fuse." We can't allow ourselves to be scared once we've started our journey.

Thank you, Allison and Maja, for posting this interview. The more exposure James Hollis gets, has to be the better, for all of us, because his analysis of what the Western psyche really needs right now, to heal, is right on. Hollis led me to Edward Edinger, and of course Jung, and back to Hollis, because I think Dr. Hollis, gives us the best way, to get our hands on, the ideas required to put our psyches together, and hence put our worlds in better shape.....one lonely individual and their world, at a time. It is less lonely knowing you two are both on the job. Tim.

He’s brilliant. To let go. Let go of control. The ultimate failed religion - materialism. In lieu of a connection to our soul and others we substitute with materialism.

James says that, ''When you stop learning you're dead.'' What really is the spiritual fact is that:
When we don't need to keep learning then we've ascended in consciousness to a higher level.
Consciousness has a series of stages that human beings goes through, from an animal type
of consciousness all the way up to the level of the Supreme Being, no longer needing to learn.
