James Hollis has been a beacon of wisdom and his writings a metaphorical flashlight in my journey through the woods of my internal world. John, thanks for arranging this podcast with him, each one of these last ones is precious. Also a favor, if you can get in touch with James’ team or himself, please let them know that his website has been hacked -shows a pill shop when trying to enter. Hopefully they can fix it, it’d be a shame to lose all that information and links to his appearances! Thanks!

I’ve appreciated James Hollis’ work for years, and keep an eye out for interviews with him. This is one of the best I’ve seen. I’m grateful he’s still with us. He has such great wisdom to share. And I am grateful that he lead me to your channel. If this interview is an example of what you share; and seeing the appreciation you have for him & his work, I am sure I will benefit from watching more of your videos. Thank you for presenting the opportunity to hear this much needed insight today.

Thank you so much for this conversation. We sit at the feet of a very wise man. Your questions were so very thoughtful, enabling Dr Hollis to provide the listeners with a nice cross section of his views. I was searching for videos with Dr Hollis and your channel came up. I’m about to binge watch your videos 😅. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Thank you for doing such a great interview by allowing him to answer fully. So few interviewees do that. Great job. Thanks. Wonderful interview.

It’s my pleasure. I learned long ago that when a master speaks it’s best to listen.

The gods never went anywhere, we just lost the ability to feel their presence. These days we might refer to them as "impersonal complexes," but that doesn't at all convey their true astonishing numinous power. Worse, such clinical terminology limits our ability to access that power. Another great episode, John, thank you for this!

Everything Dr. Hollis said made perfect sense. He either makes perfect sense or I've just read him so much, his ideas have become well integrated into my thinking. In any case, thank you!

To be sure. Btw, did you attend Saybrook specifically to study with him or was that synchronistic ? I mean, what good fortune.

@@Me_ThatsWho Dr. Hollis brought the Saybrook program to The Houston Jung Center. There was no way I was passing that up 😀
