I’m conflicted between the Kaabo Wolf king gt pro versus the Dualtron X2 (or upcoming x limited). The Dualtron is double the price of the kaabo. And it’s 185lbs in weight (for the new X Limited) versus the 115lbs for the kaabo.
Curious to know oh man dan’s opinion on the X2 versus the kaabo, overall build quality and performance and range. Oh man dan’s opinion is gold to me. 🙏🏻 💪🏻

So... to know that You even consider the Duatron X2 in the conversation is telling in itself. To compare The Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro to the Dualtron X2 is kinda unfair because we are not comparing Apples to Apples.
The Dualtron X2 far exceeds that of the Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro in pretty much every area. Even with its weight (145lbs) it stands better Portability than the 115lbs Wolf King GT simply because the Wolf King GT becomes so awkward to transport and lifting it after the fold is very awkward. Though both pose significant Portability issues, the DTX2 is easier to transport than that of the King GT.
Outside of the Portability between the two... there are some poignant pros and cons of both candidates...
With regard to performance...
The King GT is quicker off the line but at the finish line the DTX2 is right there (not the winner but close)
As for stability, comfort and safety... it will easily go to the DTX2.
Range goes to the DTX2 with over 65 miles of range to the King GT's 50 miles of range (in my weight class)
The King GT will have smoother, and quieter acceleration.
The DTX2 will have far greater torque.
Suspension is far more superior on the DTX2 over that of the King GT Pro.
Lighting is much better on the DTX2 over the King GT Pro.
I did buy the Dualtron X Limited and it takes everything I mentioned above to another level over the DTX2.
Price and weight makes the DTX LTD a hard choice for many but for me... I see so many reasons why The DTX LTD literally qualifies to be the ONLY Scooter I would keep if I had to get rid of 32... of my 33 Power Scooters.
The DTX LTD is that much advanced and improved over the previous DTX Models.
I love my Kaabo King GT Pro but I love my DTX2 more than that King GT. It just outshines the Kaabo GT Scooter in so many areas except for its weight, acceleration and cost.
If your choice boils down to those three cons... you should pick the Kaabo GT Scooter over the DTX2 but if weight, acceleration and cost isn't that big of a deal, then you will be ever grateful for choosing the DTX2 in the long run.

@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan tremendous help ohmandan, thank you. I should have figured you already bought the X Limited to de-throne your X2 in the top spot. If I do pull the trigger on the X, it will be the X Limited at this point since the X2 is on its way out of the Dualtron line. I think the only thing a bit surprising to me about the Dualtron flagship model, is that they still are sticking with the squarewave controller...just seems like the natural progression would be to move towards sine wave (first on their flagship, then roll it out to the rest of their line).
You were spot on with your comment that my considering the X2 is telling. Absolutely, as I think anyone who considers the X2, is generally speaking, a very niche type of rider or enthusiast, and again generally, probably an older and bigger guy.
Appreciate the detailed reply very much, and I’ll look forward to seeing a future review video of yours insofar as the X Limited....whether I get one or not. For me, the price is the biggest drawback, only because the amount of riding I will realistically be doing, won’t justify even spending half the amount for a gt Wolf King. 😆 But that said, the build quality of the X and feature set being 2nd to none, is what still draws me to strongly consider it. It also looks like the best platform for adding a seat, which is another enticement for me.

I have learned an insane amount of info since buying my dualtron thunder 2, 6 months ago. I hate the jerkiness of the square controller on my dualtron. I had to adjust a lot of settings to get it somewhat fun to ride. For sure, buyers remorse. And now I’m stuck . I did not realize how huge of a difference a good sine wave controller can make until i tried a friend of mines scooter. Equipped with a sine wave controller and is butter smooth. Wow , i was immediately jealous . I even asked them why are they using yesterdays tech in todays high end scooters. First response made no sense at all. I read through the lines. It’s just plain easier, square controllers are less complicated. More expensive as well. Well, you know what ? In order for any company to advance they must be willing to progress. Square controllers do not belong on high powered scooters. That was the past, time to progress to the future. So I’m all out of extra money and stuck with a scooter i would rather not have . For me the square controller ruins what other wise is a great scooter. They know the square controller does not ride well so there are a few setting added. One of those settings is very dangerous to use . A second setting actually makes it worse. I had to find that out myself. Good quality sine wave controller literally eliminates most all added settings because of how smooth it is. Much more efficient as well . My advice: Buy an electric ride that only uses a good sine wave controller. You will be glad you did!

Yes, I have had the Dualtron CITY for a little wow now.
I really enjoy riding that Scooter. It is definitely a unicorn in a good way.
Very unique and shares in a very small group of elite Scooters that have no other Scooter like them on the market.
It is one of the most comfortable Scooters you can ride. The big tires, the unique steering pole, the build, Swappable battery and design... ALL, make The CITY so pleasurable to Ride.

Just got a wolf 11+ today they are so much fun
Wow nice scooter! I just purchase kaabo skywalker 8s brand new for $610. It's my first scooter. I just rode it today for the first time on mode 3 going close to 30 mph. It's scary, but the disc brake is really good. I can't imagine going 40 mph let alone 50-60 mph!!

Hello ! I recently bought a Wolf warrior GT pro, I set the speed limit to 100% in the settings but does not drive more than 40 km/h. is there a plug to disconnect at the level of the controllers? thank you for your answer 🙂

My Favorite Scooter for a long time has been the Dualtron X2. I have just not been able to find a Scooter that can top the Dualtron Brand Apples to Apples in overall comparisons yet (trust me I've been looking for over three years now. Yes, there may be a Scooter here and there that beats the DTX in one thing here and one thing there but when you look at OVERALL comparisons there's none that stacks up to the Duatron X2. And I just bought the one Scooter that may top the DTX2 and it is The all New Dualtron X Limited.

@@TKGZONE Not small for most people, just small for me. There are many people who think the whole Mantis Family is big and just enough for them.
It is a great Scooter but just to small for my massive LOVE for Beast Power Scooters.

Yes, as you've probably read in this Video's Description, that price was a sale price that ended on the 19th.

I have been talking behind the scenes to Kaabo execs and there are several investigations going forth right now in regards to the Battery fires.
They have made some changes already... I will be offering the findings and changes they've made to resolve the issue once the investigation is done.

Hey @@jaycarl1562, I have talked to Kaabo and they are sending out the New batches of Kaabo Wolf Brand scooters affected by the Battery issue- COMPLETELY RESOLVED. VoroMotors will be getting a shipment soon and Fluid will be getting a shipment as well. So check in with them in a couple to three weeks and ask about the Newly Resolved Version availability.

Hey @Shane W... They're both so close, it really depends on what I'm looking for at the time.
Sometimes I'm just over the moon about the Stability and consistent performance of the Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro, and sometimes I want that smooth, quiet zip, and great suspension of the NAMI MAX.
They both are great Scooters.
I love having the option of ANY given Scooter on ANY given DAY for much different features and outcomes.
It can be ANY Scooter in my Collection of 33 Beast Scooters that becomes my best choice for that particular day or event.

I’ve got a question, just got mine, default in P-settings for voltage is set at 60, should I change that to 72v?
Make sure you have a GT wolf king and not a wolf warrior GT pro.
The wolf warrior GT pro is a 60v. Most if not all GT wolf kings are sent with p settings always set to 72v.
@@moloch9258 I do have the Kaabo Wolf King GT, but the P settings by default are set to 60v and not 72, is it cool if I change to 72?
@@artsmartiaux3 If you are 100% sure you have the wolf king GT 72v scooter, then yes you can. Make sure you are changing the system voltage to 72v and not the Low voltage setting. low voltage setting should be around 58 volts.

Yeah, I did the first street, and was climbing then I did the street across the stop sign and much faster, then I came from around the corner... smashing and got 51mph. I will look for a street with more length while being smooth at the same time as no traffic.
It's a very fun Scooter though. I love riding it, it's so so stable, especially with the Damper on it.

There's nothing to feel bad about, these things are addictive in many ways but I think the biggest way is its ability to therapeutically set us in a better mode and mental state after riding.

I don't know which river bed you're referring to. I travel all over the Country riding so many different locations with very interesting Groups and Riders.
Which City are you referencing?

I've read the Wolf Warrior X is actually faster then this acceleration.
I don't know about that Brother... perhaps they did some wicked MODS to the "X" to get such an outcome. I don't put anything pass the power of MODS...
@@hyrulemasterchef9573 I dropped the link but TH-cam deleted it. The Wolf Warrior X is the first base model scooter that is quicker (i.e., 0 to 30 mph) and faster (top speed) than the Pro model.
Wolf Warrior X is actually quicker and has a higher top speed than the Pro model. Most of the difference is due to the base having a motor controller, which strangely is spec’d at 10% higher amps than the Pro.
