Oh hey another pro tip I wanted to give- you said you’re burning out in dual mode so you switched to single mode, Go into your settings, click on advanced settings and you can change the levels. Make level 1 (front motor level 1 acceleration, rear motor level 2 acceleration) that way when you take off only the rear wheel gives output, but when you get up to speed, it disperses the power between the 2 motors ! You’ll get more range this way and less stress on the rear motor - less chances of blowing a motor or controller out
Two things, I want to see the ride into the Ghost Town, and I also can't believe you got 57 miles of range at 20 miles an hour. It's sort of making me want to do my range test again on the wolf king GT. From all my rides and mental notes, it seemed like kaabo was getting about half the range of dualtron scooters. This video makes me think it might have been my riding conditions... Anyway, well done with this video. In the future I would like to see more post-ride analysis of your final numbers and maybe some insight or speculation about the results. 😁

Nice ride man, glad you made it in one piece. I didn't fair to well myself, I got in an accident yesterday when a car didn't look before turning,I was slingshotted face first onto the new pavment at 30+ mph. I broke my nose,blew up my bottom lip on the inside, cut above eye and all over face. Road rash on face along with forearms ect, also broke my pinkie again. I was just running to post office and didn't wear my helmet this time and paid the price. Everyone make sure you wear your helmets and gear...
I have the same scooter at 20 MPH I get 47 miles I also have the warrior X Pro I get the same range The king GT has more weight more power and only 7AH more battery

Nice scooter! I just purchase a kaabo skywalker 8s brand new for $610. I rode it on mode 3 going close to 30 mph. I was scared, but the disc brake was so good. I felt confident on braking the scooter. I can't imagine going 50 to 60 mph..
So I am one minute into the vid, so I have no idea if you make the 80, but I am betting you will. I did a test with mine recently and got 82.9 in off road conditions.
@@TimsElectric oh I had to work for it. My average speed was 18 kmh. On cruse control. I suggest putting it in manual. You have to hold the - (minus) button for about five seconds and hold a steady speed to get it to activate, but I really found the automatic cruise to be not a lot of fun after you hit the breaks and it won't let you accelerate again for a bit.
Suprising it's not to bad, I used a rubber mallet to smack it back into place lol. Just a massive purple bruise now, and sleep sucks ( as I'm commenting at 2am lol). Hopefully back riding in a few days ;). I bet you can make the 100km on the wolf!! Hope to see you try.
@@TimsElectric great idea. Also I just wiped out going down a dirt and grass hill on my Varla eagle one. Street tires are bad on a steep hill of grass and dirt. Damned right knee pad didn’t cover my knee entirely and i got it scraped up.
@@TimsElectric funny because Varla advertises this thing as off-road capable. But the tires look like motorcycle tires. Slid all over, will stick to pavement on these tires maybe I’ll get off-road tires and try then.
I got 70 km riding @ speed limits of roads it i kept it 32 lower i could have gotten 90 or more. Good thing is it folds up quick to put in the back of an uber xl

Hey Tim, i'm Don. Have you have ever rode the new Kaabo Wolf GTR? It's the one of the newest of the Kaabo Wolf line up? Not to be confused with the Wolf GT or GT Pro. I'm thinking about this new Wolf GTR with the removable battery. Can you shed any light on the range of the GTR and it's range?
I haven't tried the GTR yet :) However I did have the Wolf GT Pro and the range was epic :) I have some range tests on my channel in case it helps...that is if the specs are similar which I assume they're close :)
Wowzers, 90+ KM with a 265LBS rider, that is AWESOME... You would easily hit 110km I reckon I'm buying a wolf king gt soon too, I weigh 155 lbs so it'll be interesting when I do a range test of how far I can officially go on mode 2 dual motor

100 lb is fairly light for something that goes this quick I used to have a yz450f and I remember breaking a chain on that thing way out in the mountains end up having to push that thing for like 10 to 12 miles and that bike weighs like 180 lb
I haven't even used speed 5 yet I'm getting 78.9 miles on duel motor speed thumb throttle floored I'm scared to go to speed 5 with mph im getting in speed 4 duel motor
I got my newly updated wolf king gt pro but I'm having an interesting time with it because I'm getting 78.9 miles an hr on I did a rid said I got 46 miles but my battery said 52 percent I know I'm getting 78.9 miles an hr my display is spot on but I got 46 miles and still had half battery I was doing about 25 30 miles an hr for the ride I had 46 miles still had 52 percent
I have the Wolf Warrior GT, and the range is solid but not as good as the King GT. I'm 180lb and after 25mi of hard riding I had about 43% left. Might be remembering incorrectly, but it's a solid range.
I haven’t finished the video, but first mistake, you didn’t fully charge to 84v. I own this scooter, if your on level 2 and ride reasonably efficiently you’ll easily make it. I’ll find out in 7mins lol.
sadly no, I've tried the Zero 11x which is similar (on the inside) but no the Vsett. Maybe one day they'll reach out to me :) I might need to hit 10K subs for some manufacturers to work with me :)
Tim do you think you can find even steeper and tougher hills to challenge the Wolf King? I live in a area with some brutal hills and i skipped to the hill section and found that to be nothing in terms of what I have to deal with. Since we're close to body specs (i'm 6/3 240 lbs) i'd like to see how the GT handles you on some tougher hills.
@@TimsElectric would love either to be honest, one thing I often find missing in scooter videos is real world terrain. Not every place is going to be nice flat decently paved area, especially me living in NYC lol
I prefer the road tires on the Goose...but then most of the time I use bike lanes so it makes sense...plus it's a lot quieter :)...if you love to go off roading most of the time then off road tires...but the Goose would be fine :)

I think the off road tire is eating my mileage. Whats your full charged voltage? Mines 82.7 -.9. was that straight off the charger in the intro? also I used a wet microfiber cloth and the bike cleaned right up. I might spray wax it
I left it at a friends house to charge...I think you might be right the voltage could be higher...it takes so long to charge to 100% :) and I just did a video (on my IG of cleaning with a micro fiber towel) :) Spray wax could be fun...not on the discs though :)
It's complicated for me today. I have headlight problems, when I brake the headlights turn on and the rear light no longer works! It is just 200 km away and I no longer dare to use it because of these electrical problems. I am waiting for an answer from the merchant after sending him the videos of the problem.
Pull the cover off of the tail light and inspect the PCB. More than likely something has blown on there and it will require a new brake light to fix the issue

Hello ! I recently bought a Wolf warrior GT pro, I set the speed limit to 100% in the settings but does not drive more than 40 km/h. is there a plug to disconnect at the level of the controllers? thank you for your answer 🙂
@@sandyboulet9297 That's a strange top speed...I'd reach out to the place you bought it to trouble shoot....it makes no sense it's not a simple 30mph, 35mph or 40mph conversion (so it's not set as a top speed in Mph)...I honestly had no issue with mine out of the box. I wonder if it's in single motor or something like that...anyway reach out to your seller and ask...you've put it on a bench to check that it's in dual motor mode?
I got my wolfe today. First impressions: Its heavy as fk. what a boat. The battery was way under 50% out of the box it was like dead because I put it on charge for about 3 hours and it was only 51% I took it for a ride and mode 1 is a joke. its like a trickle, zero power not even enough to balance its not pulling. mode 5 single motor is weak sauce. really weak IMO dual motor defiantly wakes it up but I would expect that power from the front to be in the back in single mode but its like 48v scooter power till you turn on the front tire and it wants to break free at 50km/r. throttle response is really laggy and my thumb was not as comfortable. The scooter feels stiff to me, not very springy and it feels like a shopping cart up front like a hair trigger. brakes werent doing much for me up front and the back grabs after a few seconds. I feel thrown around alot on this scooter. the throttle is like you're controlling a steam engine. slow to find a idle zone then its not real time, it feels slow to respond unless its on a higher mode but then its like john force up front and mr mago out back and the shopping cart feel as a bonus.. I think I would have had more fun with the phantom to be honest. I'll let it charge up full and try it some more but to be honest, its got me worried ps I might come back and be like "oh it rocks I set some stuff now it rips and I was wrong" maybe but I wasnt impressed with battery life under 50% either
They sell you a scooter & when it doesn't work, they will not refund your money, they will not give you another unit, they will barely even talk to you. NEVER buy any Kaabo products, there is ZERO support. It's like playing Russian roulette with your hard earned money. Terrible company with THE WORST customer service possible!

wow...something sounds not quite right...are you very light?
My top speed is 78.9 miles per hr on my king kaabo said they may have messed up and not put a limiter on the scooter

sadly no, I've tried the Zero 11x which is similar (on the inside) but no the Vsett.

Tim do you think you can find even steeper and tougher hills to challenge the Wolf King? I live in a area with some brutal hills and i skipped to the hill section and found that to be nothing in terms of what I have to deal with. Since we're close to body specs (i'm 6/3 240 lbs) i'd like to see how the GT handles you on some tougher hills.

@@TimsElectric would love either to be honest, one thing I often find missing in scooter videos is real world terrain. Not every place is going to be nice flat decently paved area, especially me living in NYC lol

Hello Tim, is it worth using offroad tires (with nubs) or are road tires fine for the goose?
I prefer the road tires on the Goose...but then most of the time I use bike lanes so it makes sense...plus it's a lot quieter :)...if you love to go off roading most of the time then off road tires...but the Goose would be fine :)

I think the off road tire is eating my mileage. Whats your full charged voltage? Mines 82.7 -.9. was that straight off the charger in the intro? also I used a wet microfiber cloth and the bike cleaned right up. I might spray wax it
it was dusty as yours on all the crushed gravel trails
I left it at a friends house to charge...I think you might be right the voltage could be higher...it takes so long to charge to 100% :)
and I just did a video (on my IG of cleaning with a micro fiber towel) :)

It's complicated for me today. I have headlight problems, when I brake the headlights turn on and the rear light no longer works! It is just 200 km away and I no longer dare to use it because of these electrical problems. I am waiting for an answer from the merchant after sending him the videos of the problem.

Pull the cover off of the tail light and inspect the PCB. More than likely something has blown on there and it will require a new brake light to fix the issue

Hello ! I recently bought a Wolf warrior GT pro, I set the speed limit to 100% in the settings but does not drive more than 40 km/h. is there a plug to disconnect at the level of the controllers? thank you for your answer 🙂

@@sandyboulet9297 That's a strange top speed...I'd reach out to the place you bought it to trouble shoot....it makes no sense it's not a simple 30mph, 35mph or 40mph conversion (so it's not set as a top speed in Mph)...I honestly had no issue with mine out of the box. I wonder if it's in single motor or something like that...anyway reach out to your seller and ask...you've put it on a bench to check that it's in dual motor mode?

really? I hadn't noticed...I don't see colour, so I do everything on timers :)
@@TimsElectric ok sorry to hear that. yes the led should turn green at full charge, 84.*V. Mine is still red after all night
it takes ages to charge...and the last 2-3% are the longest with battery charging (in my experience) :)

I got my wolfe today.
First impressions:
Its heavy as fk. what a boat.
The battery was way under 50% out of the box it was like dead because I put it on charge for about 3 hours and it was only 51%
I took it for a ride and mode 1 is a joke. its like a trickle, zero power not even enough to balance its not pulling.
mode 5 single motor is weak sauce. really weak IMO
dual motor defiantly wakes it up but I would expect that power from the front to be in the back in single mode but its like 48v scooter power till you turn on the front tire and it wants to break free at 50km/r.
throttle response is really laggy and my thumb was not as comfortable.
The scooter feels stiff to me, not very springy and it feels like a shopping cart up front like a hair trigger. brakes werent doing much for me up front and the back grabs after a few seconds. I feel thrown around alot on this scooter.
the throttle is like you're controlling a steam engine. slow to find a idle zone then its not real time, it feels slow to respond unless its on a higher mode but then its like john force up front and mr mago out back and the shopping cart feel as a bonus..
I think I would have had more fun with the phantom to be honest.
I'll let it charge up full and try it some more but to be honest, its got me worried
ps I might come back and be like "oh it rocks I set some stuff now it rips and I was wrong"

Hope it all works out...and for sure put it on a charge...it's insane in dual and 5 :)
They sell you a scooter & when it doesn't work, they will not refund your money, they will not give you another unit, they will barely even talk to you. NEVER buy any Kaabo products, there is ZERO support. It's like playing Russian roulette with your hard earned money. Terrible company with THE WORST customer service possible!
