I have a Wolf King GT and absolutely love it. I get about 40 mile range when riding at 40-45 mph. I currently have about 5000 mile on it and still going strong.
Did you get the off road or "road" tires? I cant decide which I want. Im probably doing 70/30 road to offroad but just want to make sure the "road tires" can handle the light gravel/dirt trails I have around me.
Almost ditto. 14 min scoot. 30 min drive. Best thing is scooting is FUN! Arriving at work after riding the wkgt for 14 mins is a great way to start your day.
The only draw back to this scooter is the weight of it this Wolf GT is a excellent scooter compare to the price range & what you getting in that category & now the GTR is taking it to a new level..
🔥 Users have reported their Wolf King GT scooters catching on fire. Kaabo has investigated and determined it's an issue with a controller defect. Kaabo is issuing battery fuses and new chargers to isolate the battery from short circuits. Kits are being sent out to resellers for distribution. I myself run the WWX PRO and have hit 49mph GPS and in ode 1 @18 mph 45 miles, next yr. I'll be moving the controller and step-down reg. To the rear so I can in stall a 35ah battery. From a 28ah.
I think THE most ignored subject when reviewing scooters is maintenance. Type of maintenance, difference in ease of maintenance between brands and innovations in design that separate the competition. The maintenance struggle is most certainly real and not everyone is willing to ship their scooter back to where they purchased it to perform important replacements and regular maintenance. However, the cons you outlined here are enough for me to not get this scooter.
I have 3 Wolf King GTs, in my experience the only people who have issues with maintenance on this scooter are those who do not know how to use tools properly. Usually men in their 20s, you know the generation, who were stuck playing video games instead of building something with their hands. They would probably break a finger on their soft hand trying to replace a tire on a scooter. I can see how that could be a problem for you.

@@davejohnson8338 Any issues with your Nami Burn-E 2 max? How serviceable is it, tires, brakes, under deck compartment, water proof etc? Debating on dropping $5k on one but hesitant due to no local or in state dealer support 🤔
Here is some more bad about the scooter, The part of the deck where the screws hold down the battery cover are very very thin and after removing the cover a few times the threads will strip out, the same for the controllers cover. This unit could use much better water proofing on the cables that lead into the batter compartment. I have had two issues with the scooter, from it turning off and leaving you stranded at all levels of battery charge, and surges in power. When it turns off you have to plug in the battery charger/s multiple times to turn it back on again. The last time I had to push it a mile to get to my chargers. Talking with Voro they admit there is issues with the sign wave controllers. Rear fender not long enough to stop water from splashing on your back when riding a wet rd. Why is everything that is made in China barely strong enough, or barely thick enough, when for a dollar or 2 more in manufacturing they could solve these issues.
Yours is 60v 35AH battery, 1200W motors and 40amp controllers.... You don't get no range and performance like King GT Pro. 72V plus 50amp sinewave, 2000W(8440max)motors is a significant difference.
It doesn't wheelie easily even when trying to but if your on dual motor mode and on power mode 3 you can get your front tire to skid/burn out pretty dang easily and mode 4-5 are basically impossible to not skid if you go full throttle off the start(coming from a 150pound rider)
They should do a re-make horror movie like The American Werewolf or Silver Bullet (1985 Corey Haim) with the main character being chased through a wooded bike path or trail at night on a Kaabo Wolf GT and dusting the Werewolf but you have to add some close calls scenes where the Werewolf almost catches the main character ! Man, I can see the drift scenes on the dirt paths in my imagination clearly 😂. Where’s Michael Bay !? Lol
You also forgot to mention after a while the Wolf GT’s suspension bushings start to wear due to incorrect size washers from factory. Also the casing for the controllers would be more effective if there was a venting plate at the back. My GT overheated with Error 1 code at the Cyclopark event. Any criticism is that…..you’re British mate, please also include prices in GBP not just USD. 👍🏻
Hey, great review. I had some questions. I'm a large man, 6'2" I weigh 350lbs (football player type body). I want to get the Wolf King GT pro but I see the weight limit is 330lbs. I've been to scooter expos and have emailed some vendors like VORO and FLUID. I've been told the scooter can handle me so long as im not aggressive with it. I plan to ride street mostly and some light dirt roads. In your opinion do you think I should get this scooter or the Burn-E? I respect your opinion. Keep up the awesome reviews. I watch them all.
It's just too ridiculously huge to be stored or manuvered in and out of a small flat. It's totally impractical unless you have a garage. It's also much more liable to attract attention and get taken off you if you're caught riding it. Also, you can't fit a seat. I sold mine and got the Thunder 2. It's inconspicuous and nowhere near as elaborate and can be manuvered much more easily.
The price looks appealing for such a beast of a scooter, but it seems that the quality is sketchy, the most important being safety as I would not want my condo to go up in flames because of a defective e scooter
