Homes do not hold value. Only land holds value. The home itself is a depreciating asset. An amazing megamansion on worthless land will NEVER resell for profit. Homes in LA are so expensive because their land has value and it's a market that has consistently grown. Therefore it's a good investment and increases demand and price.
The first home in this video is still on the market and asking price has already dropped nearly $2 mil (now at $21.9 mil).
Rich people stay rich by investing wisely. You don't want to buy a $25 million house you can't resell for a profit. It'd be better to buy a less-impressive home for the same price which will gain value over time.

The first house is amaaaazing! Beautiful and the landscape is also top notch. I've saved enough pictures of this house from Instagram's and online sources to appreciate this state of art structure. For past one week I've been stuck on this one house alone. This is a dream and I can't imagine the effort and ideas that went in designing and realising this into tangible form. Great work.

I can't imagine what these homes would be priced at if they were in Bel Air rather than Delray.
Magnificent homes, I couldn't afford the electric bill let alone mortgage, taxes, insurance, grounds care, housing staff, pool maintenance.
I doing all I can to keep my head above water on my 27 acres and my 2000 sq ft home.
But it's nice to visit...thanks for the eye candy.
(1st Mansion) Sad, I live in So. Florida aka "The Sunshine State" and these mega mansions are built all the time. And time and time again ZERO Solar panels. Very Very Sad.
If Bel Air, they'd probably be 10-50x the cost; however, the electric bill wouldn't be as high because of rolling blackouts.

But if it's a buisness man, an entrepreneur or an investor buying a house like this it's pretty stupid to think it's a waste of money cuz they obviously know what they are doing. People like that own their houses through thier companies that they founded or LLC's skipping many taxes and they are also great investment pieces cuz they are in safe gated communities , location on point and have every luxury necessary for themselves. I have been in 10 bedroom houses with the families in those houses using every room. Obviously you sound like you have never been in a big house or else you would have a different perspective. I've been in a house with 12 bedrooms with only 5 people in the house using every room in their house. Just because you see something in a particular way doesn't mean everybody has to follow that same world view. Maybe that's why you make only 2000$ a month cuz you can't adapt, your entitled, obviously not smart , obviously not driven to achive something or to have something. Me personally don't enjoy luxury items I like to spend my money travelling and visit around 10 countries a year. My parents and 4 children, me and my brother moved out for college and my parents will downgrade to something smaller after my other two siblings head off to college too. I have met plenty of rich guys with supercars who don't show it off at all and only take them out on track days. You lack a broader world view and you're a teenager hence you haven't met anybody that lives and works in thr real world yet and that's why ur opinion is weak,judgemental and ignorant. I'm never going bankrupt I have a undergrad degree in finance and an MBA with 0 debt. What you think every family only has 3 people to live in ? Some people have lots of kids , some people have lots of friends and family visiting all the time , some people love throwing parties and would like that space.
