I tried it, rolled with it for 3-4 hrs and went back to my own experiments :) - got so boring being so broken
I was super hesitant to do a bleed build but Ive already beat the game with a strength/dex build then a magic build so now I guess its time to do bleed for Journey 3

The white mask glitched for me soon as I killed him the bird poked me which stopped me from getting it

No? It’s from a non unique enemy so it drops more than once. You can just farm it.

Does blood flame spells dmg (not blood loss) scale with intelligence?
Has this been fixed in 1.12? It works for about 10 seconds for me, then I die.
What do you do with the black whetstone?
If im not mistaken you dont have to do anything with it. I think thats what unlocks the "occult" affinity for the ash of war. Theres multiple whetblades that unlock different affinities

I’m new to the game, just got it two days ago and tryna do a bleed build for my samurai. Does the nagakiba work great with a bleed build?
I don’t know if you still need this but upgraded the uchikatana in my opinion id a better billed weapon
Nagakiba is the best katana it has long range and kinda good bleed build up with dual slash aow with bloodflame blade you can easily kill radagon
Bleed build will make the game too easy man. Any other build will feel much more rewarding

it already does scale arcane

(I am not far into the video btw) Just fyi, arcane does NOT increase blood loss buildup. It only does that if the weapon has arcane scaling
Then put an ash of war on it and give it arcane scaling

You can undo ashes of war at a blacksmith

After watching this video, this is the first time I’m realizing maybe I should’ve leveled up more before trying to beat the game at lvl 110 😅 was a royal pain i can tell you
I got to Horah loux at lvl 80 and was confused on why the game was so unfair

you have bleed on both your weapons how do u do that i csn only have it on one
Apply a bleed ash to both
you can duplicate ashes of war if you get a lost ashes of war or ng+ and get the same ash again. As long as you have the blood affinity whetblade, any ash of war can apply bleed.

Dual curved swords are hella fun! but do yourself a favor and skip out on the bleed or atleast the seppuku...it gets boring, certainly in your first playtrough. Why play a souls game if you are just gonna mow everything down like that, the whole idea is that feeling of overcoming a challenge.

“Please fromsoft nerf bleed, noobs are abusing it in PVP!” Been hearing that since dark souls 1. It was lightning then. Dark souls 2 it was dark. By the time DS3 came around everything was eventually nerfed to the point new players lost interest out of frustration. Patches for PVE mechanics makes sense, but altering the entire game for pvp just seems silly.

More like level 60-70 before you touch that area.
You can get there early.Just take the transporter outside 3rd church. But surviving is another thing :). Maybe you can just rush through Fort Faroth to get the items w/o fighting much. But I am not so sure you rush past those bats
@@bermag-6799 You can. You can brute force run that at lvl 1. Or you can kill the dragon in front of it, level up with all the runes, then brute force run it. Another alternative is to buy a beast repellent torch, it will not work with bats, but will work just fine on rats which are harder to avoid then bats once you go for soreseal.
@@poliander Will do a new try (working on a new char) . Last time I tried that I got attacked just when I reached the ladder. Might have been to slow or thumbling with controls though.

It’s boring how everyone just wants to do a bleed build to break the game and make it insultingly easy. FromSoftware should have nerfed all the bleed weapons to death. Even newcomers that never played a Souls game before breezed through the game with Rivers of Blood and Swarm of Flies. Just lol

Don’t encourage the use of this lame style of playing. It removes all difficulty from the game and stops it from being classified as a souls game. Bleed single-handedly disinterested me in this game. Miyazaki really went AWOL with this one.
As long as nobody uses it in pvp it’s absolutely A ok to use. I also role with a rivers of blood and it’s fun asf

@@chlama they can, but in PvP if you play like this you are regarded as a no skill player. It's just the truth. This takes all skill away from the game. When you run bleed, it is no longer a souls game. It's not hard, just like every other action-rpg game out right now. Souls games are SUPPOSED to be hard. That is their intended design. The whole selling point is a gaming experience that doesn't feel half-baked or shallow. Overcoming adversity feels good. But bleed builds just take away all challenge, skill, or feeling of overcoming adversity. Believe or not, when everything is easy, things can get boring very quickly. Or at least they should, but people have fun pressing one button for hours on end, watching things get disintegrated. I have fun doing that sometimes too, but I don't like to just shut my brain off and sit on Elden Ring for 3+ hours a day mashing the left trigger on my controller. If I am going to play Elden Ring, I am going to PLAY Elden Ring. Rivers of Blood or instant bleed builds make the game on fun for people that are looking for honest fights. I should not die in ONE BUTTON PRESS with almost 2k health just because someone decided to come into my world with two seppuku scavenger's swords, 80 arcane, and a running powerstance attack. It's just bad balancing.

These kind of builds being used in PvP is GARBAGE and anyone and everyone who uses nothing but these mainstream builds should just GET ORIGINAL!
