    Just an FYI you can get Centric stainless replacement pistons if the phenolics are grooved or eroded from heat (as mine were) and man they slide/release so much quicker and easier but it the stockers arent damaged they will do plenty for majority of folks anyway.
    On your rear set up there is a company on Ebay that sells billet brackets to use Fox width axles and SN brakes, keeps the original track width without having to use SN width or SN stock axles.......cool vid buddy, keep up the positive progress

      Oh thanks for the tip I didn’t know that I’ll have to look into it cause that’s pretty interesting! And awesome thanks I was looking at the strange brackets cause I’m going with their 9 inch ends and axles but I’ll have to check those other ones out ! Thanks I’m having a lot of fun with it!!

    Great how to. It is a simple rebuild. Great video bro. Little more stopping power is alway good.

      Thanks man! Yea it was super easy and my car barely stops so I definitely needed some more stopping power 😂

    Very good video, it seems simple and easy, is this caliper the front one??
    Thanks for sharing, Francisco São Paulo Brasil.

    I got the Cadillac ATS brakes but this was very cool to see. We live in a world where everyone throws the item away instead of rebuilding them. (I’m guilty of this myself) I look forward to seeing more of these videos.
    Have you done 5 lug rear axles yet? I really need to do these and a good video would be helpful lol. I was going to do 31 spine but you have to change the thing in the rear which has me thinking. I’m debating 28 now but at the same I have a Turbo 306 so I really need to change the gears. I have the stock 3.27 I believe they come with.
    I’ve began to rabble now but anyways great video look forward to others like this. Thanks

      If you are turbo step up to at least 31 spline/c clip eliminators also.

      I really looked into the CTS-V brakes their an awesome upgrade! I’m just to poor for it right now I need to focus my money 😂 but IMO 31 spline minimum for your setup and c-clip eliminators are a good idea like young said as well! NHRA won’t let you race unless you have them. Which I just found out 😅
      And I’m going to have a whole series about the rear in the near future that’s actually where all my money is going 😂 I’m doing strange 35 spline axles with the strange S-trac and the Ford 9” ends and welded tubes and it’s going to get braced as well! And I have a 3.73 gear right now and it’s absolutely useless on the street I was actually going to go to a 3.31 or 3.08 after reading on the turbo foxbody forum. Like you were saying the turbos love that load from what I’ve read.
      And don’t worry I love talking cars! Haha

      @@iamchazhaynes7074 yeah three in a row didn't pop up in my notifications because I always try and watch all of your videos and comment because I know that it helps you out plus I enjoy them anyway and joking around as well makes it fun. I checked to make sure that I had my settings turned on and they were so i don't know what is going on . It's not the first time its happened either because it has done it on a couple of other channels as well but normally just one video, not 3 in a row 🤦‍♂️

    On my sn95 I just got, my brakes are sponge. Do you think I need to rebuild them? The guy I got them has new ones in a box but rusted from being outside

    • @young11984
      @young11984 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the calipers are rusty then they are 94-98 single piston metal calipers, probably need to flush the brake fluid since it absorbs moisture and can cause corrosion in the calipers, master cylinder and ABS unit if not kept clean. Brake fluid is probably one of the least maintained fluid in cars, if driven hard, braked hard enough to smell them regularly then it should be flushed regularly also should be done at least every time brake pads/rotors are installed and not just a quick bleed job.
