  • Caroline Escott (BSc EPais, 2006) is Acting Head of Sustainable Ownership at Railpen, leading the investment manager's stewardship work globally across £37bn of assets under management. In her spare time, she also holds some non-executive director roles, including as one of the UK’s youngest directors of a commercial pension scheme. She has won various industry awards, including as Women in Pensions and also Rising Star Awards ‘Investment Manager of the Year’, Investment Week’s ‘Investment Woman of the Year’ and was picked as one of Financial News’ 'Top 25 Rising Stars of Asset Management in Europe'.
    Caroline spoke to our economics graduates about the lessons she learnt at Warwick and the "power of simply showing up". She urged them to "make the most of their Warwick degree" and let it lead "you down paths you never thought you’d travel - but that you’re so glad you have."
