Guys i am just letting you know what your getting into! HPA is safe once you know these few rules. And what little maintenance you have to do to the equipment, gives you the ease and comfort of reliability, consistency and accuracy. remember treat it with respect and it will serve you well.
Over the years, I’ve seen 3 lipos explode in front of my face or on a charger while I only saw 2 dangerous hpa situations on properly maintained tanks (my line went and I saw a gun go). I would say in my experience that hpa is safer and easier to use in the north east,
Expanding on your first point, what actually happens is that the grease combusts under that pressure, similar to a diesel engine. This will create more heat and gas pressure, which can lead to your tank rupturing.
To expand further. Pressure doesn't cause the combustion. It's pressurisation that generates heat that does. So it's only a risk when filling. Article on the subject: (www.scientific.net/AMM.331.591) Gas laws for Pressure, Volume and Temperature. Let's say your air starts at 290Kelvin (62F) if you double the pressure P1/T1=P2/T2 you double the temperature to 580Kelvin (584F). If you fill from atmosphere, that's why you need to fill slowly and often fill in baths of water to help cool the tanks. If you fill from a large pre-pressurised cylinder, you can do it a lot more quickly. The reason you don't feel this much when pumping up a bike tyre is because air had a low specific heat capacity, so the pump and tyre heat up far more slowly. However in large volumes, this is an issue.
There is not really a "SLP tank"... SLP is the reg on the tank. all paintball tanks are rated the same (3000psi - 4500psi) and hold pressures extremely grater then what is outputted on the reg. If you plan on shooting a tippmann go with a reg that is not SLP, it will not matter for the polerstar as your putting a gun reg on the tank anyways. really this only matters for the tippmanns.
Yes you can. But like he SAID technically it's the tank head that makes it an slp or regular output tank. Slp regs aren't compatible with standard heads and standard pressure regs can use either output slp or standard output
For a starter amateur HPA Kit for me, would the Redline regulator and Ninja 48ci 3000 psi tank be good and all I need to get started aside from the basic knowledge which you guys have kindly provided?
I currently have a BTC MOSFET with 13:1 gears and a 22tpa motor, so I get the same trigger response as a p* but I am looking to trade my current set up for a p* and I got 2 people willing to trade their fusion engines. I might do that or I might just wait and buy an f1 and drop it in a random gearbox I have lying around
yes but it will only go to 150-200psi. you need to pump to 3000psi to get a decent amount of shots. there are things like the shoebox compressor or Crosman Benjamin Pump that is a cheaper solution But it takes forever to pump.
Gahandi, every gun is different, you will have to run it to find out. You should get at least 4 full games though if you are not going full a out the entire time.
I haven’t heard about any of this exploding shit at my paintball field... as a kid I was always scared of filling tanks but after awhile I just figured they couldn’t possibly blow up😂
Hey good job on the video. I am getting the Tippmann M4 and I hear good things but have you had any probs with the trigger/full auto? Also what else do I need if I have a regular paintball tank and remote line with reg? { kinda like the coil one your buddy has in the video.} Thanks
+Bryden Spencer all u need is a remote line and tank. full auto DID "run away from me" but can easily be fixed. Look at my ROF video under (Tippmann Upgrade series) for a understanding of the full auto of the Tippmann.
Derek Greene mine fills for free I was signing in and I just saw a kid walk up like hey I need air and they just took it in the back and filled it up for him
Guys great video, love your work and have to thanks or all the info you gave, but there is something not correct at all, hpa doesn't blow up if you grease the fittings, that happens with O2 oxigen, and its because the oxigen pure makes the grease goes through a oxidation process and this ends up producing a spark, and as the O2 is flammable it will ignite and explote. Great work, keep it up!
13 minutes and you just barely explained how to tank small tank? You trying to be too cool, and it looks silly. So, how long will be your video with disassembling the whole gun? 4 hours or more?

Thus far not a single video has explained what HPA is. I figure HPA means H=igh P=ower A= Airsoft? A=Air? A=Arms. ??? I am currently at 3:38 in the Video and they toss HPA aroind like a dog with an old sneaker... But not one Single mention what HPA Stands for. Same with other videos even in their titles they use HPA but do not tell what HPA stands for. Do you folks understand how basically dumb that is? 95% of these videos should begin with providing what HPA stands for.
I came into this a complete noob and I left just as confused
lmao... dude on the left is confused too
I watched some of this video and now I'm leaving a comment.
Thank you for the comment fat penis

"bomb" *slams tank onto table*
You guys make it sound dangerous. it goes with anything, just gotta be careful
Tanner McCormick putting oil in an hpa tank fill nipple is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, dont do it
been runnin hpa for about a month now its legit so convinient
You can use divers grease or pure silicone oil on all orings,it's safe.
...im gonna stick with an aeg
lol
I have outperformed a few p* users on the field with my aeg its a krytac mk2 crb
Matt Bateman Yeah, when they turn up their shit to 70 RPS then I don't think so.....LOL. I am an HPA user btw, a bit biased on that.
i also use hpa but 70rps is just not airsoft in my eye´s thats just plain overshooting and i would argue to ban people for it its just not fun.
Im making a custom p* krytac mk2 crb '-' Overkill?
Lol this video single handedly turned me off of hpa 😧
Greg why
Greg Don’t listen to these fucks-
all this video did is get me scared of HPA guns😩😭
It is designed to be safe don't worry!

yup im stayin with good ol aegs
So like if u have ur own scuba tank to fill ur tank how many fills can u get?
Guy in Background: *Decides to tenderize some raw meat*
What drug did you guys take before filming? Or do u guys just love this topic

So the high pressure regs are cheaper than the slp? Can I use a high pressure reg on an slp tank?
There is not really a "SLP tank"... SLP is the reg on the tank.
all paintball tanks are rated the same (3000psi - 4500psi) and hold pressures extremely grater then what is outputted on the reg.

How are you filling your scuba tank? Or how can you diy to fill your main tank
oxygen and grease dont mix well. how is compressed air and grease dangerous? i dont understand it doesnt explode
How many shots can I get from a 13ci tank with an 400fps airsoft gun?
This made me scared to use hpa but I already bought a tank and reg for an hpa tapped pistol
do it!
Hahaha same
lol same I'm gonna run it though. duel M93rs bby
For a starter amateur HPA Kit for me, would the Redline regulator and Ninja 48ci 3000 psi tank be good and all I need to get started aside from the basic knowledge which you guys have kindly provided?
Yes and some taps for your gas mags. FOSTER 22-2 1/8" MALE NPT or Russian CQB taps. Green Gas is around 120psi on your reg.
I'm looking at hpa because I'm tired of gun teching my gate titan speedy aeg.
how many shots do u get from a 48/3000 tank? around 140-160 PSI?
crazycamz13 I know a few people who have fired off 5,000 BBs and still had some air left. A LOT better than batteries.
I got a Ninja LPR regulator and a 48/4500 HPA Ninja-paintball tank, are these compatible even tho the regulator is SLP?
I currently have a BTC MOSFET with 13:1 gears and a 22tpa motor, so I get the same trigger response as a p* but I am looking to trade my current set up for a p* and I got 2 people willing to trade their fusion engines. I was gonna buy hpa but now y'all scared me sooo I guess my krytac and gbb is good enough😅
Anthony Brock, don't be scarred, they are not that hard to ise, I have used them for over 15 years of paintball and never had an issue.
Can you fill an HPA tank with a compressor?
yes but it will only go to 150-200psi. you need to pump to 3000psi to get a decent amount of shots. there are things like the shoebox compressor or Crosman Benjamin Pump that is a cheaper solution But it takes forever to pump.
BUT YOU GET RIPPED USING THE CROSMAN PUMP. WAT U KNOW BOUT DEEZ MUSCLES SON!?
Very informative! I can't wait to use my HPA P* setup!
Spotted that Siege barrel cover....where do you guys go in the T-dot to get your tanks hydro'd and filled?
certifiedcylinder for hydro
Aquarius Scuba for fills
thanks gents
in the US you don't have to declare it, but theres a high chance your plane will be delayed and you will be questioned
I just got a tippman and the guy i bought it off of also gave me a 3000 psi 62ci tank, how many shots can i expect with a full tank?
Gahandi, every gun is different, you will have to run it to find out. You should get at least 4 full games though if you are not going full a out the entire time.
I haven’t heard about any of this exploding shit at my paintball field... as a kid I was always scared of filling tanks but after awhile I just figured they couldn’t possibly blow up😂
I’m just going to not oil anything close to my hpa tank for my paintball gun
Hey good job on the video. I am getting the Tippmann M4 and I hear good things but have you had any probs with the trigger/full auto? Also what else do I need if I have a regular paintball tank and remote line with reg? { kinda like the coil one your buddy has in the video.} Thanks

Hey guys I just got a tippman tipx hand gun , I am new to this . Is there any way to increase the fps using CO2 with modification s
u guys from Toronto? I see that seige patch in the background???
This almost turned me off of hpa
that dude in the blue looked super baked on weed.
Do you know where to get a older tank re certified
So can I run a pistol with a small tank and a remote line without a regulator?
Probably not
airsoft owen why not
Smokin Yo mama cus I’m guessing you can’t get a 100 psi tank regularly. You’d need a reg I think. Unless there’s a tank that small.
My airsoft place hot fills it
Derek Greene for free?
Derek Greene mine fills for free I was signing in and I just saw a kid walk up like hey I need air and they just took it in the back and filled it up for him
i love your videos keep them up
How heavy do they get when full
Why would you have to oil it anyway?
if the fill nipple spring gets stuck and leaks air some people would put oil in the fill nipple to make a seal. then it blows up.
but....but..... what about teflon tape
can i fill a bottle up using a bike pump?
I don't know if this is a serious question, but not only no but FUCK NO. That was a stupid question

How much does it cost to convert a gun to hpa?
m4 is about $600 for a good setup. pistol is about $200
MeanCharles Airsoft thank you
What a hell! I was searching for HPA*, not that, TH-cam! 😂
THANKS SO MUCH
is it ok to lube up the O-rings on my tank and external reg-line with grease. I got eclipse marker friendly grease
yes everything past the fill nipple is ok!
k cool thanks
I spy a g6r and an etek 2. Nice guns
U can see a bong behind the plant
The guy in the back 😂
Me: gonna put an f2 in my arp9
Sees this: naa I’m good
Not exactly how hydro works close enough
HPA or AEG??????
depends. if it is a DSG or a Krytac then the AEG. If it is an HPA compared to a G&G then the HPA
Nick P are cm16 raiders good to his or should i get a new rifle
raiders are good starter guns. but hey it honestly doesnt matter if you are good with it. i recommend a gng arp556 for your next gun
Nick P WHATS the best rifle to PolarStar
any m4 style gun that fits a verson 2 gearbox.
They say bomb the whole video, me 😰
Did he.... Just tell us how to Make a boMb lol
They didn’t explain very well
Beavis and butthead do hpa
I’m scared now
All you talked about is that it will blow up so I will not get into hpa ig cuase all this did was scare me
pls don't ever touch scuba tanks
