This made me laugh, too! There's a place here that makes a delicious beer cheese soup. I always say it's so good I could bathe in it. But I think I could also rub it in my hair! LOL
I like how quickly you get fun tuck spots for your journal with these pockets. As you were making them, I thought of lightly inking with a stencil to softening the white insides of the tuck. Lots of possibilities. 🤗

Gayle, I have used metallic or holographic gift bags for my die cuts. I've also used the gift bags to make specialty pages in my junk journals. I purchase them a Dollar Tree.

These are so cute. They might also look different but still good if the front and third sections were folded down at an angle, especially with double sided paper. I might have to give it a try.

Happy belated birthday, I am behind on videos. We have been down 10" rain, the last few days we finally got some with a storm that had 60-70 mile an hour winds. Ripped my weeping willow right out of the ground. Now we have Temps in the 90's with 70% humidity. The weather everywhere is crazy. Pretty project.Vicki

Do you not understand that I need to reorganize my craft room? How can I ever get that done if you keep posting videos that are so inspirational that I can't wait to try them? I have stuff everywhere in my house and I mean everywhere. My husband usually asks, "Did you buy more stuff again?" I hope there's a gray area when I answer that.

I think it is wonderful that you had such a good birthday! That restaurant sounds really cool! I would love to go to one like that! I was born December 27, 1956. I graduated in 1974 from high school. I really like these journal tucks! I plan to make a bunch today. I need to paint, also. I am trying to finish a painting for my husband. We celebrate our 40th anniversary this month on the 17th. Hi Gayle, beautiful job as always. Just wanted to make a suggestion...instead of glueing or sewing the pockets. How about using a paperclip so you can open up to journal on the inside , so you have a hidden journaling space. Thanks for taking care of all of us. Hugs dear lady!

Gayle, a belated Happy Birthday to you! My best laugh today was when you said that the pasta was so good that you wanted to rub it in your hair. I laughed out loud. Love these floating pockets and the ways you decorated them. You demonstrate layering so well. We had a similar water problem with a leak and a big bill. Once the repairs were completed, we sent the repair receipt to our utility company and they gave us a partial credit on our next bill. Perhaps you can do the same. Good luck!

I have to say you have spoiled me on techniques for making journals. I didn’t sleep much last night so I watched a lot of videos. A few from people I’ve never watched before. I found my self saying to them, you aren’t leaving enough space in the folio, it’s going to buckle. When you fold up the bottom of that page for pockets, you need to cut a V in the fold so it will lay flat. I spoke out loud to these ladies who weren’t doing it right, lol. Yes! You have spoiled me 👍

My coffee dyed paper is different weights. For the most part, it’s just copy paper, so I’d guess around 26 lb or so. ❤

@@lindadeconcini3678 No, I’ve never tried it, I don’t wear make up at all and I don’t really need the color one because I have rosacea so I have naturally rosy cheeks, although often it’s only my right cheek which makes no sense but I’m too lazy for make up. I do fill in my brows but that’s it, I think I want to get them tattooed.
@@LynsAlteredArts My sister and daughter had their brows tattooed and they’re so happy they did. I need to, too, because my natural brows now make me look like an Angry Bird. The tattoo is fairly dark/stark at first but eventually mellows out. :)
Good morning! I love watching your channel. You inspire me to make! Thank you. I have a question about you fabri tac glue in the sugar Bell bottles. How do you keep it from clogging? Mine dries out in the metal tip. 🤔
Hi Raylene! Do you have the knitting needle cap on your bottle? I got mine in the knitting department of Hobby Lobby. It seems to work just fine. The glue does get a bit thick about half way down, but I add to it until it’s full and it’s fine again. Or you can add a bit of nail polish remover and that thins it out again. The only other thing I do is to wipe the top of the metal tip after each use before putting the metal cap back on. Hope that helps! ❤️

Well, I added glue to my bottle and it has been just fine. Who would have thought keeping a full bottle is the answer. Lol. Thanks for helping me out!
