Purchased from TXPowersports out of Arlington Texas, at the time cheapest price on net and yes that included shipping! It came directly to my house, fully crated and took several hours to assemble (front wheel, handlebars, controls, plastic, rear shock). I`ve owned it since last March and has held up very well. The motor and transmission seem very solid and can take abuse! Maybe not the same high quality like a Honda or Yamaha, but much cheaper and just as fun!
Bike still holding up well, have left stock and kept up on maintenance. Only real problem I`ve had is the lower rear shock bushing that was loose from day 1, hasn`t really gotten any worse so see what happens with that. Bike starts well hot or cold although it does take a healthy kick too start, possibility angle of kick start. Tires, chain, breaks all holding up well. I live at sea level and never had any jetting issues that other people have mentioned, ran good with stock jets.
Its funny how people try to knock chinese bikes when they are super fast and reliable when you take care/maintain them. $800 chinese bike vs $4000 Japanese. lol ill buy the 4 chinese bikes any day
great bike for newer riders, should fit you well. Its a smaller bike and does have limitations however, its difficult to find a clapped out Honda or Yamaha for the "new" price of a Viper! Chinese bikes have improved steadily over the years and the Viper 150 is a continuation of improvement. Great value for the dollar!
Wassup someone is trading me this bike for my go kart . Just wondering is it a good bike? Just to ride around and stuff people saying the suspencions suck and shit but idk bc i ride it on the streets not no mountains and shit but its basically for a beater that i want it. Bike inly has a couple of days that the guy was riding it any after market parts will make it go faster? And change of suspencions which ones fit?
I`ve owned the bike about 6 months now and its proven to be very reliable however, its a $800 bike new and certainly not the same high quality as a Honda. Yes, the suspension is not the best but its adequate for most most play riders and will take the smaller jumps no problem. If you take the bike for what it is(Chinese knock off) its a great value! Replacing the stock carburetor with a mikuni seems to help as its jetted lean from the factory. I don`t know if there are any after market exhausts available for the Viper, mine runs well with stock.
I put a different carb on it and it runs better
can i get the link to the carb?? for mine when it gets here
also want a link
I watched all your vids
I reccomend a Mikuni 28mm carb
I know this is a old comment but if it helps lmk
that seat looks so damn soft
19 in front tires 16-in back that is good
Thinking bout this bike for my 15 yr old
Can`t beat it for the money, and hold up well with expected maintenance. For a new or inexperienced rider the Viper is a great choice
They should make a 250 version of this bike
where did you buy it for that price? does the 799 includes shipping ? How is the bike performing after couple months now ? Thank you
