Biggest takeaway from this video is how straight the bike tracks through the rocky climbs. The new WP suspension is dialed. I ride alone about 50% of the time and love doing it.
Ktm 200 rider here, I bought mine new back in 2016 and its the most fun yet capable hard enduro bike ive ever ridden. If you are a beginner/intermediate rider, dont buy a 250 or 300, you think you want the power but you really dont. You will have allot more fun on a 200 and even though it has less power its still extremely capable even in hard enduro terrain. I personally havent got the chance to ride a 150 in the past 4 years so I cant say how it compares, but theres always the Beta 200 as an option aswell which has even more power than the Ktm.
I second this, especially if you're not in great shape. I bought a 14' 300 for my first bike since my teenage years. After 2yrs of working on technique and getting into shape I still found that the immense torque of the 300 just flat wore me out. I had a lot of fun for about the first 45min, the rest of the ride I fought fatigue. Switched to a YZ250FX and at the same time upgraded my son to a 125XC, having a much better time. Neither of these bikes lug like a 300 but it forces you to work on clutch control.
Ive been riding a 2016 ktm 200 for the past 8 years. Bought it new back in 2016, still the most fun enduro bike ive ever ridden. It has much more torque than a 125 but I cant compare it to a 150 since i havent ridden one in a long time. If you find a used 200 in good condition just buy it dont think about it😅
After changing from a TM 300 EN to a TM 144, everything became more fun, the lightness, how nimble you feel and the sound coming out from these mid bore 2s makes you always smile 😊
Seems like your at your peak of happiness with that 150 and it's brought the best out in you with your riding. That bike looks ridiculous fast lol, awesome to see some content on it looking forward to more. ✌🏻
I have mostly rode alone, and some of the best times I have ever had were on a 2 stroke in the middle of no-where. Just lil ole me, and the bike. Fun times indeed. And then there are the times when you are miles from anywhere and you have the gnarliest climb or downhill in front of you and it takes a real effort of will power to push through the fear into doing it. And the adrenalin screaming with the bike as you get it done. Nothing better ...
I go out a lot on my own. I just make sure I have everything I need in my backpack. Sneakers, first aid kit, water and some protein bars. Great video. Thank you
I love my Ktm 200XC-W and i also have a new 350excf. The 200 is by far the more fun bike, and even if the 350exc is about 30-40lbs heavier, which is still light for a 4stroke. Its still very noticeablley heavier and the 200 just feels so nimble and light compared to it. Mine is a 2014 200XC-W. Id love to try the new EFI motors.. Also put some basic power mods on the 150 and you will have way more power than stock on top of that..
NICE! I love my TE150i Husky. Once bedded in, I'm sure your EXC will feel on the short side. Mine is definitely shorter than my last 250 4 stroke, and that height difference, for me, is a real game-changer.
Was waiting for this one! Happy to see your enjoying it, I love my te150 it’s just the perfect play around bike, you can lug it along pretty well without it stalling but still wanna work that clutch I use lots of 2nd/3rd gear and try to stay out of power enough to wheelie its just a bump of the clutch to bring it into power if that makes sense, but I’m also 140lbs so I’m fairly light rider on it, definitely not a 300 but there is plenty on tap for lots of fun to be had!
I’m always riding alone, it’s good to be alone and not worried to get something wrong and feel like your holding people up sorting it out, love the bike tho man 🫶🏼
I mostly ride alone and theirs a lot of freedom in doing it. Super exited for you, this bike looks very fast on the trails. So stoked for future vids on this bike and the 300!
I have a Beta 200 and i makes me grin like an idiot. So light and you can ride it flat out without scaring yourself. You MUST do a back to back test with the 300. Maybe timed. I suspect there would be nothing in it.
I bought a practically-new 2018 TE150 last fall and the first 5 seconds of this video is what I've been trying to tell everyone happens. Like yeah, the bike flies through the trees and dances up rocks because it's so light/flickable which is awesome but the best part is the engine noise just makes you laugh. I'm about to go to an MX track for the first time with it and I can't wait because the thing is just fucking hilarious to listen to. I usually ride pseudo-hard enduro, real slow and technical, so when it does scream through the power band it's so fun
I’m 5’6 and got my first bike (a KTM) -had to switch to a husky because the KTM was so dang tall! Lol things are monsters! I ride alone 80-90% of the time and do enjoy it but riding with friends is so much fun!
I'm 60 yrs old I have a quadracer with a ninja 1000 motor ..and I ride a 1983 XR 350 R.i live in Oregon I trying so hard to sell both of them to buy a 150 cc bike my XR is heavy and my quad is insane thanks for riding it hard because I am not sold on the small bore bikes yet..👍
I just picked up 23 150exc coming of a 250 four stroke and yes not as much power but as you say so much fun. I have changed riding style and it makes you pick better lines. I love it. G day from Australia.
I’d suggest you change the on off switch on it because I have the exact same bike with that switch and water somehow gets into the switch and switches on the bike and when it’s running it tries to start when it’s already running it cooked my whole starter motor by doing this
I am 58 with a BMX background but my body is pretty battered and worked these days, I am thinking a 150 would be plenty for me because I need something that won't encourage me to ride too stupidly LOL. Keep the great content coming my friend. 🤘😎🏍
@@MidWestMX 🤔These days I prefer luging around on the trails and riding single track I figured the XC would be a good fit. Maybe the Yamaha 125X then. I just prefer 2 strokes as they are much easier to work on.
Am only 17 y/o,but lately I get obssesed watching this kind of activity..I can feel the excitement and joy throughout the activity..Cant wait to earn money😂😂
im new to creating content this year and plan a. lot of lone rides to get some drone footage too. im also looking for a light enduro so really keen on seeing how good these are.
i’m ngl the 150sx are just straight rowdy you should try your friends 150 sx maybe comparison vid between yours and his sounds like the new bike is a lot of fun tho!! great vids man❤
I love your videos bro they're awesome. I watch your videos since 2020 quarantine and i have one suggestion so your videos can become better overall. My suggestion is if you can remove the square thing on the bottom right of a video when it's in full screen and it says"subscribe" trust me it will make your videos awesome!
Ya dude, it’s much better going out on your own, in terms of creating content and focusing on yourself. It’s also cool in a group but nothing beats the solo stuff
You find some good places to ride, don't recognise it, I'm selling the tenere now and getting back on a enduro bike, miss the trails to much. Great video again, was getting worried when I'd noticed you hadn't been on for a bit
When you ride the 150 exc & you enter a extreme race put your self into the expert class And just hang on to the pack it's the best way to improve your riding skills because there a bit ahead of you and your riding out of your comfort zone it's the best way to improve you will enjoy the race so much
I guess you need a full bike licence, and the bike has to be road legal to go on those trails, right? I have always wanted to get a mx bike, as I have a van to move one around, but don't really know where to go and ride,

I haven't sat my ass on a bike in 21 years, im now 40 and thanks to you I'm away to go buy myself a 150.
I passed my test and said I'm sick of 125s "I want a powerful bike" I brought a 2007 gas gas ec 300 12 months later " I'd love a 200"
Road 125’s are completely different to off road bikes. You don’t need alot of power off-road
@SDrtheone yeah that's what I'm talking about and an enduro 125 is different to a motorx 125.

you should definitely upload a solo ride on the 150 and the 300 with no commentary, just the angry bees, loved the editing on the video btw!

Yeah!! more 150 content!! love my husky 150, awesome bikes!!
A tip for riding trails when u see a mud puddle pull up on ur front wheel cuz if it’s too deep you could go over your handlebars
Can anyone tell me where these trails are, looks epic 🔥
Yes, yes, yes!!! Love the 150s ❤
so well done Sir ! I'm really enjoying your content and how its set up

Ktm had a recall on the 150’s because of the starter switch. Your dealer should have contacted you

Maybe. I wouldn't make any content with it as it would be boring

Riding alone in the woods is awesome!
That bike is amazing that looks really fun
Ride buy footage was great more of those please👍👍
Cracking little bike, think we rode some of those trails last Sunday….. Awesome place!
I always go out riding by myself . I just try my hardest to not do anything too stupid . I bet that fuel injected 2stroke feels really good
buy a molecule Motorsports skid plate. got one on my 2023 125xc. get the molecule hand guards too
I tried to bridge the gap and went with the Beta 250rr. This bike looks like a lot of fun though!
We all go after the bigger engine but realistically 150 is all you need for this type of riding 👍

Looking forward to seeing more of the 150 👌👌👍
