2022-04-23 CoastGuard Mooloolaba check Bar depths to find the best route to get in and out today

Blue Saturday crew in both boats make several passes across the bar to check the depths of the shifting sands, as the channel’s depth and safest route is changing dynamically almost on a daily basis. Later we go through some towing and rafting exercises in the river that test our manoeuvering skills in the squally conditions to the max.
