The first wee ride was not as bad as the second surf. Not much one can do except go along with it and hope it doesn't get to close to the wall on the left side. Probably the highlight of their day. Good seamanship all around.
Excellent footage. Bet that skipper was grateful for a rum when he got home….

As a comm. salmon fisherman in Alaska, this is ho hum. But, I understand the awe of normies who’ve never been in hellish seas🤷♂️ (and it don’t get any easier with time)
Greymouth bar has taken a few boats over the years such a long approach. Not for fainthearted.
Not sure Kelly Slater could of done better .
