13 SECS IN !!! YESSSS BRIAN IS SO FUCKING RAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Iam fired up that he is here and there looks to really be guest hosts. EDIT : SHE SLAPS!!!
Thinking upgrading from Miller 141 to a Miller 211, but saw cyclone 212 and cyclone 200e. Currently doing automotive / autobody repair and was just checking to see if you thought the quality was good enough to upgrade to as well weld quality.
His wire was going into an open groove. When you do, that does happen. Plus it didn't look like he was connected direct with the work clamp and that makes a difference in smaller migs.
Iam a X - ray guy. Its common for pipe welds in fab shots to be welded like this , then shot and passed. Folks fail going up hill or down hill regardless. I was on an Api 1104 job and there where some welds that had more than the allowable lack of fusion or lack of pen in the weld and specifically at the root due to this process. With the down hill you will have more of a flatter bead inside the pipe then say with an up hill 6010 smaw . Over all they hold and get banged out quick in a fab shop.
@@hypnolobster Have you used them? You do realize that Miller has used this same gun right? Before they were bought out by ITW and had bernard at their disposal, and Lincoln and ESAB use the same drive roll mechanism. Overall we have almost no issues reported with these guns unless someone runs a cart over the gun, or coils them in a 1 foot diameter roll by wrapping them around a gas cylinder. Never have gun issues or liner issues otherwise. Occasionally a switch gets dirty, but the design has been around for 30+ years and is a proven, widely adapted and used design.
And she does indeed SLAP!!!
I've struggled with some of the other new hosts, but Brian is awesome. I've seen him on a lot of Everlast content, and he is always great.
This dude is a stud. I've seen his work with red bearde. Hope you're on the channel more.
Love ol brian

Nice job for a stumbling machine

Thanks you shate videos tutorial next time brother 👍👍
Very good and informative video Brian. If you start wearing eye shadow, You'll be in the dislike hate it column! LOL!
Interesting. I welded with the B31.3 random code only used stick welding for many years This maybe the direction piping is going
"you said "open butt"..... heheheheeeheh..." ~ Butthead
Very good...can you explain the set-up whit m/s please. We don't use inch.thanks.
How to I stop the puddle from just falling right onto the floor
I’ve done mig stick combo on plate and I would drop my wire feed speed 200 imp
I think he was using .030". That would be too low.
How is it with 14 gauge Galvanized steel using .030 Flux core?
Welding machine seems to be not functioning properly, or grounding is not properly affixed to workpiece
butt root before i put them on the pipe ? should have published on 4/20 ???
What’s your opinion on everlast welders?
My teacher made us do this test uphill
what size wire is he running
does bob moffatt still make vids on here
Hey man I’m running 6010 and I was wondering if I could store them in my oven
You shouldn’t need to for 6010. The only rods that you need to keep in an oven are low hydrogen, the most common being 7018.
Don’t store 6010 in a rod oven. You want them to have 3-7% moisture in them. If they have less they will flake and finger nail on you.
What gas, what wire diameter?
Next time ... weld mean weld green ! 😉
Any landing?
Have you X-rayed this root and what was the result ?

@@vesmarinova thank you,. That would explain the high wire feed speed 👍
Sometimes we need watching welding failur or trouble in the middle of welding
Stuck, blow, jam or else
This.
Why did it sound so sputtery?
My guess would be, maybe not enough wire? Looks like it's burning faster than it can feed
Everlast with the factory gun. Shit liners, shit guns. Sometimes shit drive rolls too.

Hi, I'm from Russia, please tell me, what does WFS 340 ipm mean? We use amperes and meters per minute, how to convert? I hope someone will tell
IPM (Inches per minute) and Amperage go hand in hand in CV GMAW...
@@brandonbuss3224 Thank you
inches per minute. 39 inches in one meter
Wire Feed Speed 340 Inches Per Minute
