You know if it weren’t for the steel tracks on the 550, you wouldn’t be able to get that bucket nearly as full, that’s just a sweet combination sir, got yourself a winner there. Thanks for the tag along young man!
Love it when things fall right into place. The CASE DL550 loaded dirt into the Dump truck with ease plus it still had a foot or more that it could clear the side of the truck. I think you've been balls to the walls busy and things have been good at the Dirt Perfect compound. Appreciate those good days while you have them. Great, productive couple of days. I know everyone has commented on how versatile the 550 has been so I won’t pile on (it is impressive) . . . but, as a Midwestern expat living in the south, I’m jealous of that topsoil. I’d do questionable things to get 3-4 loads of that down here. 😂

I was on a job back in the late 80s where the landscaper brought in an attachment similar to your Ruckus rake it was called a rockhound which did pretty much with that does but it would separate all the Rocks larger than like an inch and hold them in a bin he took and dumped into his low body dump that attachment did an amazing job also👍👍
Hmmm…it’s been an awfully long “demo” for the 550! 😬 Based on the scratches, and how long the “demo” has lasted…we’re all kinda wondering why there’s no Dirt Perfect stickers on it yet?! Glad the new Mack is working out so well. Hopefully we’ll get to see the new rubber on it before the Summer is over…lol! 😂 Thanks for sharing DP!

Good Lord the DL550 is worth it's weight in Gold! There are lessons to be learned in getting stuck, It teaches you the limits of a machine and the bar is high on the 550. My vote is keeping it in the fleet but I don't know what your plans or possibilities are on keeping it. The AMI Ruckus Rake works very well, talk about utility, it rocks. Keep up the good work Mike.
Mike that is a smart move putting the axle interlock on BEFORE any chances of getting stuck. Those road tires on the tandems might need to be replace with cross-lug mudders. I give you a 💯on wet off road dump truck driving for sure!
I was thinking the same thing. It's going to be an expensive acquisition but would sure beat getting stuck!

That DL550 seems like a dangerous situation. Every new task you throw at it, it just powers through and knocks it out of the park. Looks like it'd make a great permanent addition to the fleet for sure. No denying that thing is an animal. Would love to see it and the 240 side by side for size comparison as well as compared to the D4G, though I'm sure they're seldom in the same place as is the benefit of having multiple machines. Thanks for bringing us along, look forward to seeing what the future has in store for the 550. Keep up the great work my man 😁 👍 (you and your little sidekick too 😂)

Got to admit the Case DL550 Minotaur is one handy dandy piece of kit. When I fist saw the AMI Ruckus Rake on Captain Kleeman’s channel I thought did he just do a spoiler for Dirt Perfect’s channel. The dry dam looked amazing.

The Case DL 550 is a little Machine, but have Power is a Beast and can with Supplements multiple usable come to insertion.
The DL550 fills ALL the gaps in a excavating company's need for just that one tool that can do everything, is what I'm saying.
The Rukus rake is a sure thing, but I HOPE the DL550 Minitaur will also be an addition to THE @DIRTPERFECT FLEET !

I find it amusing how people are so surprised at how much capability this has as a loader. I say to myself how much crawler loaders are forgotten by some people. Very versatile machines in the right man's hands.
Amen!! Have always had a spot in my heart for crawler loaders. The shear versatility, power, traction, floatation and capabilities are awesome. I feel Clint has done a good job showing some of what can really be done with them, though certainly no wheres near their full range of abilities.

The way I see it you might as well get your checkbook out and write a check to case. The smile on your face explains why. Peace
That Case Minotaur was cutting into that dirt pile like butter. Just remember that Captain Kleeman has already proved you don't need the Case and can easily load the Dump Truck with the TL240. Unfortunately, you need to spend 20 mins building a pad for it to sit on so that you can reach over the sides of the truck (And spend 20 mins cleaning up the pad afterwards)! Of course, where you can't build a pad, your screwed with out an excavator on-site! I believe this CASE deserves a Dirt Perfect sticker! Now, where to find the money tree to pay for it (Hey, those Gold Rush folks did say there is Gold everywhere on earth, maybe not in the quantity you need to pay for that Case)!

I know that’s not the end all machine for what you do everyday but that machine sure opens job possibilities that a dozer might be too large for and you need something smaller and nimble but with more power than your normal skid steer. Looks like the perfect piece of equipment for a homesteader with the availability of all the skid steer attachments.
I’m impressed I’ve been kind of always made snide comments about case , like case stands for can’t afford something else. That machine changed my mind. The operator I’m sure a lot to do with it dirt perfect.

When you 1st had it, I said it was going to be a game changer. It's certainly shown that it can cope and deal with anything that is put in its path, definitely for anyone looking at buying a skid steer it has to be the tops of anyone's list. Very nearly a FUBAR moment, have no doubt though that the 550; would have been able to either push or drag that truck out. 👍🤗
You know, this Case needs a few stickers added to it. 1 machine with 1 extra attachment and it does the job of two, the d4g and the ctl/skid steer. It can even run the attachments for the skid steer.

I retired from a facility that received some bulk materials by semi-dump-trucks. One of their drivers told me there were 2 kinds of those dump trailers: those that have turned over and those that haven't turned over, yet.
I think he was referring to the end dump. Basically Road tractor with a trailer hooked up and the bed Raises up. Those flip pretty easy. Really easy.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. The DL550 seems to fit in so well with your jobs it’s starting to be hard to believe you might let it go back. I checked the price out of curiosity and it certainly is dear to come by, but I’m hopeful that it will pay for itself if you choose to make it yours. Being able to load the triaxel definitely seemed to be a winning task, then being able to do the duties of the Dozer and Taco were just icing on the cake. Wishing you and your family the best.

We have a Case wheel loader, the 550 are a great machine. Wheel loader not so much, super nice to see the 550 working!
