I used to live there. Also Cargile. The turkey plant was there. Its snows but not a lot. U can go cliff jumping.. rope swinging. Just watch for the snakes in Beaver lake. Yes they go under water. They can open mouth under water. As I seen my self.. lots of poisonous snakes. Crawd fishing was the best. U can make sassafras tea there.. it was never boring to me. Worked at springdale nursing home 2yrs. Also went to high school sophomore yr..
That’s a good question…I have personally never smelled it, and I’ve been all over Springdale, so I’m not sure if it’s a constant thing, or just certain times. If you want to be sure you don’t have to deal with it, just don’t move to the east side of Springdale or Lowell or even southeast Rogers…those are where most of the industrial plants and warehouses are located.

What yr did u go to high school. I went to springdale high, sophomore yr, 19887-88. I think. Then went back to California. They called me smurfette, cuz of my name also how tiny and short I was for my age. 4 11.6 tall. Hung out in the middle of school, where the smoking area was. . Someone I use to date, used to love drag racing back in the day. So many lake parties. Pay the old man in his tim can, put anything g in it , pass can enjoy the lake and bomb fires all night, no herassmemsts from the peace officers. Lol.
I loved on thrush st. Beautiful neighborhood. Then lived in tailor past Beaver bridge I believe the bridge was called. Trailor was on left side , right after the bridge.. us it still there? Or is it haunted now .
I knew there was someone out there who also believed Springdale lacked on entertainment, has a boring downtown, and has had too many signs almost everywhere you go in Springdale.
Springdale is the armpit of Northwest Arkansas ... total craphole. West side on 412 is nice, and downtown is nice. Stay away from 412 east of Interstate 49, and anywhere on or near 71B; craphole!!
There’s three things I hate about Springdale. One, too much traffic and the traffic lights in the downtown area are slow and take a long time change. Especially the one by 10box. Two, not that many businesses and lack of infrastructure. And last but not least, lack in entertainment. We need some type of trampoline park like in Rogers and Fayetteville. Springdale could also use some type of indoor go kart entertainment center. Or others such as Dave and busters or Chuck E Cheeses. But I agree Downtown Springdale, West side of 412, and the types of culture are the best thing in Springdale!

Very cool, what type of jobs are out there? Any cheap places to rent? Maybe an apt. I wanna check the NW out and then potentially buy a house.
There are all kinds of jobs here. And lots of apartments to rent that are cheap.
