I wouldn’t count out Reed Sheppard. If he plays well to start he could be the first guard off the bench. Plus, his shooting will get him the points he needs to be in the conversation. Plus, he’s very much an underrated passer and has a ton of scorers on the team to get him the assists he needs.

It’s a bad class in the sense that no superstars will rise from this class. But there are a lot of great role players that will have a long NBA career.

Regarding Castle. Shooting is the hardest aspect of the game to develop, and almost leave players entering the league as non-shooters, will eventually retire as non-shooters.

There is room to develop, that's for sure but it's a looong way even to 30% against better defences playing at faster pace than they do at college, and 30% would still be really bad. And as i said shooting is the hardest aspect of the game to develop.

Houston will struggle with injuries and Green believes he is a max guy will go out and try to prove that but get injured being to wreckless trying to be a human highlight film. By the trade deadline Shepherd will be starting and Van Fleet may be moved. Shepherd plays a high IQ controlled offense and can set up others but if the D lays off he will put the 3 right in their face. I get crap for this but I see a lot of John Stockton in Shepherd because he makes everyone better because he punishes slow defenders who don't get back or get caught ball watching but I think his calm controlled game will see him as the better choice over Green and his chaotic high turnover style.
