I think you are kidding yourself, with a totally false sense of security. 1) if you are siting on the bike and threatened, the prosecuting DA will convince the jury that you could have and should have just ridden away. The jury will believe that. Shooting while sitting on the bike will most likely put you in jail for a long time. 2) say you are pumping gas and a dude comes up with a blunt object to take your bike or money. a) You won’t have time to get to the gun in the bag, and even if you do, then b) the FIRST step in self defense is to put distance between you and the threat. Unless you have your gun on you, you are screwed. Again, try telling the jury that you couldn’t back away or run into the convenience store because your loaded gun was unlocked in the bike, so your only option was to stay with the bike and shoot the guy because you backed yourself into a corner. Again, a good prosecutor will have you in jail for a long long time. In a civil suit, you will loose your bike and a whole lot more. If you want to not live in jail forever, you need to get away from the threat, and if they then continue to come after you and threaten your life, you have a good defense if you shoot them. If you have your gun on you, you can back away, draw your gun, and 99% of the time it will end there - when the dude sees the gun pointed at him, he’s running away, and you won’t face a $100,000 legal defense bill.
Awesome gun content😎 you are blessed to live in America 🙏🏻. I live in a country were you are a criminal if you carry🙁(Anaheim, California). However, I may or may not be packing heat🤔
Is it accessible with a passenger on the bike? Do you have an alternate location if not? I've been thinking of a shoulder holster, something like some police wear for when I'm riding.
It is, with some help from the passenger but not really safe. With a passenger I’d be more apt to carry but 90% of my riding, I’m flying solo. Thanks for watching!
This amazes me about America the second amendment and a country a washed with guns and society still not feeling safe, the last time I went armed in public was Afghanistan that was a war zone. The Port Arthur Massacre in 1996 gave Australia the gun laws we have today all done in 12 weeks.
I carry inside waistband right hip.
