I heard alot of Testimonies that people had experienced with JESUS and they claim to saw the holes in HIS hands. I even had an experienced when HE saved me from a vicious witchcraft attack. I called on HIS name for help under escruciating pain for about 5 mins and then HE appeared. The feeling was like walking through the desert for a month without water and then finding it. I was sooo happy to see THE SAVIOUR. And I knew it was JESUS by HIS white splended garments. HE LIVES !

Among the Ancient Greeks, Hades was known as “the Other Zeus.” Homer even calls him “The Infernal Zeus,” in addition to “the grisly God.” He was also called “the host of many” or “the Attractor of Man” - since ALL men eventually went to serve him.
Jesus's visit to Hades was to proclaim that His Blood Sacrifice would save those who believed in Him from the fate of Hades. His Sacrifice erased the burden of Original Sin.

I'm extremely grateful to have gotten to know Derek Prince, and I give the Glory to God. There was an Armenian boy touched by God's Holy Spirit who wrote 2 Letters: 1. Warning the Armenians to flee Turkey a few years before that horrific Genocide where more than 1 million Armenians were slaughtered (many listened), but where to flee to (the USA); 2. This 2nd Letter warns the Christian Armenians to once again flee (but this time out of the USA & with a map where to flee to). Are people in the USA awake to what's coming?

I would like to share a special teaching: Jesus went to Sheol, a spirit realm, during the 3 days between His Atonement and Resurrection. Sheol is a Hebrew word that gets translated into Hades, a Greek word. Hades in some Bibles can then be translated into Hell. So, Hell does not mean flames and misery, for every case.
Within Sheol are 3 known areas described in the Bible. One area is called torment or Gehenna (where human spirits are witnessing or experiencing what we call "Hell"), another area is Tartarus (where fallen angels are chained in a lower region of "Hell"), and then there is Paradise [where the Father currently resides, a.k.a. the "third Heaven" (2 Corinthians 12:2-4)].
Jesus went to the Paradise part of Sheol, to be with the Father and He also taught those imprisoned in the torment region, while communicating from the Paradise area (1 Peter 3:19) (Luke 23:46).
Jesus did not go to suffer in "Hell", during those 3 days, like the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed both state (usually Baptist churches follow those orthodox creeds, if you were unaware). Instead, Jesus' work was "finished" on the cross, as His mortal flesh died (John 19:28-30).
Abraham communicated from Paradise to torment, both areas being within Sheol. Between them is a gulf of water that was enterable by the finger of the rich man. (Luke 16:22-26.)
One teaches, because the student(s) have a choice. The spirits in torment were given a choice, after the teaching by Jesus, and they could either choose to deny Jesus and remain in torment, or, they could choose to be baptized in the gulf of Sheol, to then enter into Paradise. Only those who are born again of water and the Spirit can enter the Kingdom of God, where only holiness can be in the Father's presence (John 3:3-7).
Their baptism forgave their sins (Acts 2:38), they confessed Jesus as their Lord and Savior (Matthew 10:32-33), and their service of wholly-sanctifying fruit unto holiness was no longer needed (Romans 6:22), since their mortal lives had passed already (Luke 16:25). It reconciled all of mankind, up until the Atonement, and finally allowed them entrance into Heaven. Only Enoch and Elijah had entered Paradise, prior to the Atonement, by God's sovereign choice.
Then, the first thing Jesus publicaly declared, after His Resurrection, was a commandment to the Apostles, to tell everyone to believe and be baptized or they would not be saved, but rather, damned to torment (Mark 16:15-16). This was because baptism had just been activated, through Christ's Atonement on the cross. Peter said, decades after Jesus' ascension, that 'baptism now saves' (1 Peter 3:21) (Romans 6:3-4). Jesus first used baptism those 3 days, after He taught them from the Paradise side: the reason for His teaching. Jesus says, to have eternal life, we must believe and obey His commandments (Matthew 19:16-17).
This is how the theif on the cross made it to Paradise that day, without having been baptized on earth, before his death. He was taught, baptized, and then entered Paradise, as all mankind is required to be.
The thief employed the 4 requirements of the Book for Remembrance, in Malachi 3:16-18, all in his last moments with Jesus [fear the Lord, think of Him, speak of Jesus to others, and serve Him [something that pleases God)]. Jesus spared him, just as per Malachi states and as the theif asked to be "remembered" (Luke 23:42-43). When Jesus unlocked the gates of Hell, to release those about to be baptized, He was not tormented by the fierce heat of the nearby flames, as He can even be in the midst of flames and still not be affected (Daniel 3:25).
Be blessed all and seek a relationship with Jesus right now! His Holy Spirit can double your scriptural understanding, if you seek Him with your heart (Job 11:6). 🙏 God is so loving and so good and He is calling for you right now! ❤

It’s a painful thing not only believing something with what you were sure was absolute certainty, but also having verbally and publicly expressed that conviction... only to start to see the cracks in what you were sure was a pristine truth. When the great realization comes, the truths being such that God ORDERED the Great Flood, he didn’t just “allow” it; the Holy Spirit making it happen, and Jesus holding the baby's heads under water- means they’re not waving for joy, they’re really drowning. In that situation it’s almost impossible not to resist, not to try to divert attention from the cracks by re-emphasizing the parts that to you still look pristine... but on some level, even if you don't want to admit it, you can't truly forget that you saw the fractures; can't truly ignore the fact that legitimate reasons for doubt was not only presented to you, but had quickly and irretrievably taken root having been processed and stored by your brain. The proof of it is the first time you do a kindness for someone and you realize that no one is truly watching and approving. No God or anyone else will likely ever know that you did this kindness; you will then perhaps for the first time really understands what true freedom can be. You didn’t fail in your belief, *it failed you.*

karin, I agree! people need to stop labeling everything and everyone. No one is 100% correct, I listen to different preachers, not too many tho. I study the word for myself and test it. I don't get spoon fed, I agree w some on some topics and not on others. It takes discernment and personal study to learn the truth. And of course there are some teachers I steer clear of.

For those saying Jesus went to Hell, that's not quite right. Prince has it right in the title of the video. Hell is still being prepared, nobody has gone there yet. Jesus went to Hades, which was Sheol, which is where the captives were, in Abraham's bosom, that is the 'good side' of the chasm. The word Hell in the English bibles is used in places it shouldn't be and that causes the confusion. However, since Hell is to be without God, it would be true to say that Jesus did experience what Hell would be like because he was left alone briefly just before He died.

What a lack of Christian teaching on this utterly important subject. Not even a word about John the Baptist descending there first and making a proclamation. Then the Son of God came down to the lowest parts of hell and:
1. openly triumphed over the enemy and put him to shame;
2 got hold of the keys of Hades;
3. liberated all the righteous who were waiting for Jesus Christ (Adam and Eve, all the patriarchs, prophets and righteous men and women);
4. ascended up to Heaven and seated at the right hand of God the Father.
As a result, the Eternity is Opened to repented sinners, death is destroyed, devil is permanently defeated , the curse is annulled, the creation is reclaimed and all the saints rejoice.

Prince has it unfortunately wrong. It's been a mistake by many commentators to link the 1 Pet 3 verse with Acts 2:27. When the Lord Jesus cried, "it is finished" He had completed the work of atonement on the cross. To say He went down into Hades after He died on the cross, suggests His work was not complete. This is wrong. Nowhere in Scripture do we find the spirit and soul separated. Christ (spirit and soul) went to His Father at death. The 1 Pet 3:18-20 is about Noah preaching in the "Spirit of Christ" to those in his day who were bound in sin (in prison), rejected his message and died in the flood. In 1 Pet 1:10-12 we see the "Spirit of Christ" speaking through the prophets. Noah was a prophet. It's wonderful to see how Scripture harmonizes. Scripture cannot be broken.

When The Lord Jesus died then he descended in the lower part of hell and spoiled principalities and powers ( Satan and his kingdom) and he made a show of them openly , triumphing over them in it! 1 Peter verse is also reasoned to possibly be in reference to how the lost souls in Noah's Day had been preached to. I forgot the exposition because I didn't fully understand, but the Nicean Creed with the "descended into hell" part wasn't written until about 600AD. Previous versions didn't have that, and other creeds didn't mention it.

Speaking of three days. It took usually took three days for people that were crucified to die. There is no punctuation in the Greek. Most pastors put a comma after "today." And they quote, "I say to you, this day you shall be with me in paradise." Luke 23:43. However, "Pilate marveled that Jesus was already dead." Mark 15:42-44 So they did not die the same day. If you change the comma, there is a new meaning. "I say to you this day, you shall be with me in paradise." And where is paradise (garden)? Did Jesus bunge jump to heaven and back?

But this preacher read this verse correctly but added "or in the spirit". Why?
My bible even capitalizes the word Spirit. That is referencing a member of the trinity but if you change it to "in the spirit" it is different.
I plead with you brothers and sisters we need to stop using pagan words and names . We need to be set-apart and pure to meet our Master and Savior YAHUSHA and our Father YAHUAH so we won’t be burn.

Jesus went to Hades which was divided into two sections, the first being where unbelievers go and are eternally damned and PARADISE where the believers go waiting for Jesus to be resurrected. In Luke 23:42-43 And he said (one of the malefactors) unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into they kingdom. (43) And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in PARADISE. Because Jesus never sinned he did not warrant going into the place in Hell where He would see corruption Ps 16:10.
Jesus did not go to Hades. The Scriptures tell us he went to "the lower parts of the earth," a Jewish expression that usually meant the person died and was 'buried with his fathers'

I always wondered about this
Everyone before and after Abraham who followed the Lord were in a place called Paridise. It was on the way destination to God's Kingdom. Jesus had to die first before the saints could fellowship with the Father. The man who repented hanging next to Jesus asked to be remembered, and Jesus replied, "Today you'll be with me in Paridise." His soul was not left lingering in Hades, as the Book said.

How did Jesus soul manage to separate from his spirit? This is difficult stuff to understand. The soul consists of the mind ,will and emotions.
I think it is wrong to say the spirit is/can be separated from the soul. The spirit is the central part of the soul. Jesus' human soul/spirit was alive by the Holy Spirit and went to preach to the spirits 1 Peter 3.18-19. His commitment of His Spirit to the Father did not mean that it was separated from His soul, but that it was entrusted to the Father's power, as He obeyed Him in going to preach the Gospel to the dead.
Jesus has a perfect soul, it was the container for the Holy Spirit to manifest to his mind: the movement of Jesus's mind was facilitated by the Holy Spirit moving in Time and still is. When we believe in Him, he sends His Holy Spirit to fill our souls and minds, thereby training our spirit to be like God's spirit in it's quality and will be trained to do only good when obedient to God.
Yes I believe the gospel of Jesus Christ 100% beautiful. Yes he did go through hades to preach to those on the lowest levels. He our Lord Jesus and saviour Jesus Christ was the final sacrifice for all those who are faithful to call upon the Lord and believe on him.

What are we to believe then,, that Jesus' body died on the cross while His spirit went to heaven and His soul went to hades? Rather confusing since it implies that only one third of Jesus died while two thirds went elsewhere.
In Genesis ch.2:7 we read that "the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground (the soul or body) and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (spirit) and man became a living soul.

How does that work? Leviticus ch.17:11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, " It is the oxygen in the air we breathe that goes into our blood via our lungs that gives us life, without it we die. We can be deprived of oxygen in various ways - loss of blood or by suffocation in one way or another. The Greek word pneuma is translated into the English - "spirit" or "ghost." The "breath of life" then is simply the oxygen we breathe.
A fresh look at the crucifixion. Matthew ch.25:50 Jesus is hanging on the cross," And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost." - or Father into your hands I commend by life - and He stopped breathing. What was left hanging on the cross was a lifeless corpse, the body was then taken down and placed in the grave (Hades/Hell). Jesus was gone, dead, he no longer existed but He had died knowing God's promise to the righteous - Psalm ch.16:10 and Acts ch.2:27 "For you will not leave my soul (body) among the dead or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave." and so after three days and three nights in the Grave (Hades) Jesus was resurrected to eternal life, the firstborn among many brethren. Romans ch.8:29.
But, you will ask, when did Jesus preach to the spirits in prison? 1 Peter ch.3:19-20 - When Noah was building the Ark

@@Blue-moon12 - Matthew 12:40 - Jesus Himself said that He would spend three days and three night in the heart of the earth (Grave/Hades) Besides that, Acts ch.2:27 plainly says that (God) would not LEAVE Jesus' body in the grave (Hades) so again it is obvious from the Bible that Jesus's body did lie in the grave/Hades - but was not left there to rot. Your problem is that you associate Hades with the Pagan idea of Hell - a place where the souls of the wicked spend eternity in torment. Hades in the Bible is simply the Grave, there are no spirits, wicked or otherwise, in the grave, only decay. There is nothing blasphemous about this teaching, it is what the Bible says.
I am here to testify that Jesus restored everything that we lost in the Garden of Eden. This means that if you truly believe in Jesus then you should be living a holy and righteous life where you have learned how to communicate with Jesus and you are allowing His Holy Spirit to teach you scripture and guide you in your life. You should be living a life where you have learned how to overcome sin and so you should never have sickness, disease or disabilities in your life. You should be completely separated from everything in this evil world and you should not need to work at any job since your faith and trust is solely in God to provide for your financial needs and to protect you from any harm.

This is the life that I am currently living and this is the life that God intended for everyone in this evil fallen world since since Jesus provided this blessing for all of mankind through His sacrifice on the cross. So if you are not experiencing these blessings in your life then it is either because you do not truly understand scripture and so you lack knowledge of what it is relating to you or you simply do not believe that these things are possible and you have blasphemed the Spirit of truth with your ignorance and your unbelief.

His theory is right on what Jesus said in Hell about His proplication.. Jesus took back the Power through anointed prayer standing in agreement with his Father binding the enemy by basically putting his foot on the head of the snake watching him squirm.
He was right when he says he cant explain further. Why? Because the Bible clearly and implicitly says that the dead knows nothing. If the spirit of Jesus went to the Father then the verses that speaks of Jesus coming into hades must be symbolic. One of the most confused dictrine of the Bible is the state of the dead and the difinition of soul, what is soul? Is soul compose of body and spirit? Or one entity. The preacher need to study his subject well as it is he who dish out the bread of life because I believe the sheeple never read their Bible for themselves but waiting ti be fed by whoever stands next to the pulpit.

(No chapter divisions) In Ch 4:6 Peter goes on to say that the gospel was "evangelised" to those dead. The word is to preach good news. This opens up vistas of hope that transcend our narrow views.
