As a British person, I've never watched basketball. I have decided to give it a go and see what all the fuss is about. In this video, I share my thoughts and reactions as I learn about the players, teams, rules and strategies of basketball for the first time. From the excitement of the slam dunks to the confusion of the fouls, join me on my journey as I discover the world of the NBA. It's not hyperbole. These are the 2 best 3 point shooters ever and they are on the same team. It mathematically broke the league.
Thing is though, even if Steph and Klay didn't explode the way they did, the NBA was going to trend into a 3 point era eventually. It's just that them plus the Warriors sped up this process
There's also a Polish-American player named Jeremy Sochan who from Milton Keynes and considers himself british even tho he's not a citizen since it's all where he grew up.
Also OG Anunoby is British and is pretty good too.

I was born in Los Angeles into a Laker fan household and that has never changed, I am a laker fan BUT my favorite players who are currently active are Brandon Ingram, Giannis, and Ja Morant and I HIGHLY suggest you watch highlights of Giannis and Ja because they are absolutely UNREAL
I am a European and my favourite team are the San Antonio Spurs because of David Robinson who is just was a great player but also a great guy. Also because i loved their play when i started watching basketball. Their ball movement was amazing and all players bought in to the culture. I´m not sure they are the most succesfull team ever now but some years ago the where the team with the highest win % in games of all NBA teams. Basically they where sort of good many of the NBA years. Now they suck so i hope they can get back to glory.

I know I’m a bit late to the party, but I’m a Milwaukee Bucks fan. My hometown team, Giannis is ridiculous, and Milwaukee is the smallest market in the NBA. Love that Giannis and my favorite team bucked (sorry) the trend of building superstar laden dream teams and instead built themselves mostly from the ground up into a championship winning team and perennial contender
Also, the Bucks are in the same state (Wisconsin) as the Green Bay Packers, who also play in the smallest market in the NFL. The Packers play at the legendary Lambeau Field, and are the only team in the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB that’s owned by the community they play in.

It you’re looking to find your new team to support I would suggest teams such as the Memphis Grizzlies, Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, or Milwaukee Bucks. These are teams that are very exciting to watch and teams with the most potential in my mind for great success
Being a Tottenham fan from the US, it’s hard also being a Miami Heat fan 😭

NBA differes in the draft in the bottom ten are put into a lottery. So your can’t tank at the end of the year to get a better pick.
I wouldn’t listen to the video completely. The best way to get into nba is actually watch the full games. You won’t learn anything by just watching highlights. My team is the New York Knicks. You should definitely follow them, they got the best fanbase, they play super hard, and are in New York.

Hey man, I also watched your NFL video, and I have two teams for you - they also happen to be my teams - Carolina Panthers (NFL) & Charlotte Hornets (NBA). Both teams are in Charlotte, North Carolina, and we S-U-C-K. North Carolina is also one of America’s BBQ states, and my hometown Asheville (in the Smoky Mountains) was voted Beer City USA.
My favorite team is the Warriors. I admit, I was pretty much one of those bandwagoners when they won their championship in 2015. But can you blame me if it was this team that got me to watch the NBA? 3 point shooting unlike anyone else back then and the way they get their shots are a beautiful showcase of tactics and teamwork. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson's shooting plus Draymond Green's passing and defense made the Warriors a dynasty since the mid 2010's winning 4 championships out of 6 Finals Appearances (2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022; lost in 2016 and 2019). Kevin Durant as well made this team super op especially in 2017 and 2018.
But once you get to learn how they built a dynasty after years of being trash plus the beautiful basketball they play with, you start to become a loyal fan instead of just a bandwagoner
better stick with them now
My favorite NBA team is the Chicago Bulls.
For the NFL Dallas has the Cowboys who are very much a love ‘em or hate ‘em team.
It’s not even that. It’s just a regular fan base with people hating them for a trend

Do not trust that take. Steph and Olay influenced shooters. They did not cause the nba to take in more shooting chances. Reggie Miller, ray allen, lebron James, Michael jordon, Tracy mcGrady. They all shot over people in their face. And Miller and mcGrady hit 4-5 threes to comeback and WIN the game within like 25-30 seconds. Never happened like that before. Bro is glazing the warriors hard Steph and klay were 100% not the first to do it. If anyone caused the nba to change their mind on taking more threes. It was the people here years before Steph and them got in the league lol

I admire your interest in these new sports. Newcomers often have many questions and sometines the commentator answers them, sometimes, not all. But, if you would like to get some good content to help make the channel grow I can send you a bunch. Once you have chosen your teams, I can get them to you. Good journey ahead brother.
