Great video could be a good one to send to many UK Councils to show them the real world of true motorhomers. Have you seen the FaceBook page about getting UK aires ?, the title is Campaign for Real Aires UK .CAMpRA .
We usually spend 6 months a year over in Europe in our van (not this year))) but will be back for winter 2021/22 in Spain/France. Love the aires in many countries along with French Passion and some campsites but mainly aires like in your video, Thanks for posting.

      Hi
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment
We were very vocal about Aires when we first discovered them 16 years ago, we found that no one was interested so just went to Europe for all holidays since it’s like banging your head against a brick wall
We did have our own Aire (CL) about 5-6 years ago when we had some land near a tourist area
It was very popular! It was only for motorhomes
Feel free to send video on to anyone interested in taking up the case
      Thanks once again

@@vanlife4x471 Hi, I posted this video on the Campaign site on FB and they would like to use it but could they remove the part about pop up campervans please. One of the reasons we spend so much time and I might add money like yourself in France is the aires. Love some of them that you have put in the video. Great to see they are still adding new ones to the network. We were on a brand new aire about 3 years ago and went in the local tourist office to congratulate them for making life for us motorhomers better. They asked us to fill in a form which we did and asked if the aire needed any improvements, it did as the grey waste drain was hard to get too. Within 24 hours two men and a lorry came and extended the drain. What fantastic service, could you see any UK council acting so fast.
      Regards
      John

We are really passionate about the camper parking whether it be in France, Italy, Germany etc it’s just so easy
I like the comment you mentioned out one of your experiences
One of our friends has seen the your post of our video, I think she is passing our contact to the people concerned
Many thanks for posting it, we’ve always wanted to get an Aire system up and running , writing to prime ministers, local mp’s mo for tourism, local council etc but to no avail unfortunately
We are willing to help in any way!
      Thanks John once again

I live in the beautiful East of Lincolnshire. My local council is East Lyndsey District Council. The day they give anything awaywill be the day I find an hen's tooth.
It's a real shame we don't have this facility in the UK. We own a VW T3 hightop and can't even spend the day in town carparks thanks to councils insisting on hight barriers.
Foreign campervan drivers must really love the UK.

Thanks for the video. Was the water connector at the German Stellplatz same as uk sites?

Thanks, just the info I was looking for. We are hoping to tour France in our MH when travel restrictions allow and this has given us a great insight as to what to expect. Interesting choice of tyres you have on your van, I'm guessing some of the roads you drive on are a bit soft / loose.
    Again thanks for the information

      Hi Peter
Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and also comment
We hope you enjoy your trip to France once restrictions are lifted
It is so easy for campers over there and the country is beautiful
The tyres allow us to get to places not many others can get to in a van.

Hi thanks for taking the time to watch our video and also the time also to comment
The community already had an Aire but felt the need to build a brand new one adjacent
The town was Montier Les Bains in the French alps
