Tried to go see Sounds of freedom and every theater in Central Florida was sold out all day Saturday . Praise God the word is getting out❤

I teared up during sound of freedom movie.. pretty darn good movie
I rented this movie 2 days ago... just fantastic. I applaud the makers of this film and the actors too. Recommend for adults only. It reminds us to put on the whole armor of God every day. We followers of Jesus need to shine our light in these very dark days.
....l saw it at the movie theater...right after l watched "The Pope's Exorcist"... Nefarious was much better...🙏 God Bless....

To the folks not familiar with Mr. Deace he's straight up. Doesn't hold back and sometimes his truths scare folks. He has no interest in sugar coating anything. My kinda fella.

All I can say about this movie is wow! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the acting from Edward had me so emotional and feeling so sad for him and then, realizing at the same time that we truly don’t wrestle against flesh and blood. Our war is against, the evil demonic entities that we cannot see. This movie is absolutely phenomenal and I honestly pray that so many people would watch it because it will open your eyes to what the real problem is in this world🙏🏻
We call evil people murderers, yet the trickery of Satan blinds us to see how what we label normal members of society murder. Satan is roaming around, and it will just keep getting worse. Thank you Lord for being in my life and my heart. What a movie!

I read Peroni’s books, and they transported me into another realm. I saw demonic activity angelic activity, like I never imagined it before. And we are living in it right now.
Frank Peretti did an amazing job of bringing this to the forefront. "This Present Darkness" especially.

This movie is an absolute most see. That feeling you have deep inside that things are not right with the world… this gives light to what’s at play

I watched this movie on prime. This movie is eye opening to know how the enemy works and how this made me more thankful for God Almighty Protection and to see that God is SOOO Good. Praying that when people see this movie that people will run too Jesus Christ and accept him as Lord and Savior. This reminds me that there are so many soul's that need to be saved.

I rented Nefarious and watched it almost 3 times. The nuanced acting of Sean Patrick Flanery was excellent. He brought out a broad range of emotions. He brought out sadness and pity for Edward who seemed so pathetic and meek, especially when Nefarious declines Edward's last meal. The disdain that Nefarious feels for us was palpable. Jordan Belfi as the psychiatrist. He played the part perfectly from displaying skepticism, then doubt and I felt disdain for his pompous proclamation of how society is "improving"... he couldn't fool Nefariius. I kept thinking, only a blind fool would think this way. This movie was fantastic and I may rent it again. The acting was superb. I loved the warden. He was extremely relatable. I hope there are more of these. Job well done to all involved.
When he said “society was improving” - everything he said is actually what Satan wants. He has been able to fool intelligent people into thinking that “society is improving” when in reality it’s not improving at all.
I just watched it and have to say I was talking to the dr and tell him not to kill Edward because the demon would escape again. Then prayed for him to accept the lord! So I am now praying for everyone to accept Jesus
The actor who played Nefarious was spot on! Amazing!

I truly hope those who don't know the Lord, who don't know of HIS protection, HIS armor, find it before they can't. Trying to fight a spiritual battle with a physical sword won't help. ONLY by the Grace of God, and the Gift of Jesus, do we have a hedge of protection from Evil. Sometimes, when folks don't believe in God, they also don't believe in Satan. This movie should show them both exist, but you only serve one. Choose wisely...

Yes! MacArthur took a risk during Covid to remain open. He was fined $1000 for every service. He was brave but he did suffer in his health due to all the trouble they gave him- even taking away one of his parking lots and making his congregation park in every other parking space as if the cars could get the virus!

Im going to watch it tonight. It looks scary and i have been waiting on my bf to agree to watch it with me. We have been together 18 years, i recently just met Jesus and am trying to tell him about Jesus and the little i know but he isnt interested and actually makes fun of me. Crazy Jesus lady and stuff like that. I didnt even realize the movie was a Christian movie. Maybe my bf and i will both learn something by watching it tonight. Amen!! I found pastor Jack actually God put Pastor Jack in my feed on TH-cam when Coved happened. Pastor Jack far exceeded everything. His love for God plus his boldness and teachings have been amazing and wonderful. I have introduced him to so many people in my little area on the Eastern Shore, Maryland.

I am from another state and visiting a few weeks ago relatives in Southern CA. I HAD to go to Pastor Jack's church! It was AMAZING. I have been watching hm regularly since the insanity really geared up in 2020. This is a beautiful mega church and I easily found parking, and they escorted me to the front row that Sunday! This is when Pastor Jack said to watch this film. I found it so freaky and scary BUT I was so happy to learn more of the spiritual realm which I know to be true! God bless and I will be praying for protection for you all! I was so bummed though to not get a photo with Pastor Jack. I looked and looked and never found him after church.

Loved this movie. Sean Patrick Flanery was MASTERFUL. Oscar worthy if Oscars were actually going for good acting rather than how woke an actor was.

I’ve been going back and forth whether to watch it or not and decided not to a couple days ago thinking it was the enemy trying to get me to watch a horror movie but now I’m hearing Pastor Jack and many other Christians explain the true intentions of the film and I’ve watched some interviews behind the scenes so I’m really thinking it’s a sign I should watch ❤🙏

I have no clue what this is, but as with "The Purpose Driven Life" and every single other big time popular supposed widespread and religion crossing production, I'm not thinking well of it. Because God has given me this unsettling, nonconfirming, leading in all of them. And eventually every one has fizzled out to be unbiblical and self/man glorifying while piggybacking God for credibility.
So, I'll have to look much deeper. But as with all things, it's best and no harm at all to Not jump on the Bandwagon with the masses. Take long careful time to seek truth and let it exposed for what lies beyond the cloak.
I watched it and it isn’t at all what I thought it would be which is good I was hoping it wouldn’t be some sort of exorcist type flick it’s more about the way the devil plots and schemes and how we are so desensitized to sin nowadays we sin when we don’t even realize we are sinning because the world has made it so acceptable enabling us to live comfortable in our sin “the world” aka the enemy’s kingdom.
The movie was put out in a way it seems to entice non believers into thinking it was a horror film so they’d watch knowing they’d never consider watching it if it was just another Christian movie is what I get from the interviews w cast and production just the way media manipulates in order to get people to believe their specific narratives and agendas I feel like if you watch it as a believer, which I am, the movie will confirm what we already know: Eph. 6. The conviction comes from and realize it’s the Holy Spirit working in their hearts
Sorry if I rambled just wanted to explain the movie wasn’t this horrific exorcist type it didn’t glorify or exalt the devil or anything of that nature it was precise way
Of showing spiritual warfare I was ok no nightmares it just confirmed that we need to put on the armor everyday stay constant in Gods word and no matter what not conform to the ways and the patterns of the world and how enemy will stop at nothing to destroy so never let our guard down always hold fast eyes on Jesus and keep strong and growing the bond and relationship we have with our beloved Lord God almighty 🥰🙏❤️
I’m torn on watching this, like you, I thought it was some sort of horror insidious movie type, and I do not watch those, simply to guard my mind and heart. A co-worker, who is an atheist recommended this movie to me, and I have no idea if he knows it’s a “Christian” movie. I know I didn’t. I looked up the synopsis and decided that it was not for me. Then I saw this video randomly pop up on my feed, and I’m not sure how I feel now. All I can say is I’m going to pray about it, and I would encourage you to do the same, and may god give us both wisdom!
It’s not a horror movie…that’s the good old secular world giving it a label. Amazon listed God’s Not Dead as a “comedy”🙄

Just watched it. It was quite good. A good reminder that Satan and demons are real. God is real, and He will make the demons go away when we follow Him.

The movie was great. Rented it today watched it twice already. Mr Flannery deserve an academy award.
Pray for discernment, and for Pastor Hibbs to have great discernment. This may be great and wonderful but even such things can let subtle deceptions infiltrate it. So give serious consideration to what this person warned about. I have not seen the movie so my comment is just a general caution to pray for discernment in these deceptive days. Satan is subtle, smarter than we realize, sly, effective. BTW Jack Hibbs always presents the gospel clear, effective and understandable.

When I went to see it it was a lot of either cops or military in the building you could tell by the posture I can pick them out easily and I wondered if what I had heard that most officers are Freemasons and that is evil to the core , if they were there for other reasons
I agree with you in that we need discernment, I will not see this movie that exposing the demonic. I don't see why we need a movie like this. A friend of mine watched the movie and said there was no clear gospel mentioned. I do question Jack Hibbs thinking this is a good idea to show this movie and to promote it. Just think that this opens the door to the demonic to all people in the last days. Jack will be held accountable for this misstep, very sad.

We are in the last days and demonic forces are in full force. When I speak about demons people think I'm crazy. Then there is what Jack speaks after this showing...speaking the Gospel. 💘

This movie is a must see. (For adults and maybe mature teenagers.) That being said, I will never watch it again. It brought back so many memories of where I once was and what I almost became. It was very real for me.

Check it out, i heard but didnt verify: Angel Studio (Sound of Freedom) is named after the Mormon angel Moroni. So even that wonderful movie where God is exposing horrible evil in today's society, prayer for discernment is critical because ungodly, another Jesus, false teachings, Etc, can and does infiltrate even truth when it can.

To go a bit further - I’ve heard that the sound of freedom movie was funded by a man who is good friends with the Clintons (red flag) and now the producer of the movie is urging parents to microchip their children to prevent them from being taken. So all of this leads me to think - is this film being used to convince people (especially people who may be more right leaning, politically speaking) to take the coming mark of the beast???? To have their children take it??? It really makes you wonder. The deception is off the charts.

My wife, Daughter and I went to this movie here in Branson missouri and we were so inspired by the tremendous acting and it’s message of the evil forces we see all around us, God is all powerful and I followed Steve Deace at WHO Radio Des Moines iowa, you Steve were led by the Holy Spirit and thank you God for using Steve and others, may we all be used and willing to be used in Jesus name I pray. Pastor Jack, I didn't know if you might want to get in touch with me. I have a testimony, I'm not sure if God may be trying to tell me to share it with the world, with you, with your congregation or what but I was 14 years old when I experienced actual demon possession. I stayed home from school that day with a headache. Sometimes I would for sinus issues when I was a kid. Later that day, my mom let me go walk my friend's home from school and I hung out with them for a couple hours. We didn't do anything but lay around and talk teenager stuff. With our girlfriend and boyfriends. But I had to walk this one street home, a man used to walk hold in his fingers kind of weird with the 666 or the okay symbol. We used to notice him as kids it was almost as he was casting a spell on Tidewater drive in Norfolk Virginia. That was the way I walked home that night before dark. I went in to watch a cartoon and my mom walked past me and looked in my eyes and said that my eyes look red and asked me if I was drinking or doing any drugs cuz something didn't look right with my eyes. I said no no drugs and no drinking. That night changed my life forever and unexpectedly was one of the worst nights My mom would experience.
I am 51 years old now. Born again by the Holy Spirit! This movie touched me in a way that most people would not understand. It brought back memories And reminders. I really enjoyed watching this movie twice. Two days in a row. Rented it on Amazon. ($4.99 standard version.) Satan is real, demon's are real And people need to understand this. We need to be careful where we go and who we involve ourselves with. If we are not born again by the spirit that leaves us open as an empty vessel for evil spirits to jump on and/or in us to try to take over to make us do things we ordinarily wouldn't do. I ended up in a coma when I was 14 years old and when I came out of this coma I stayed in church 6 days a week for the next 5 years. Age 14 to age 19. Demons cannot dwell in a spirit-filled body. Satan had been trying to attack me since I was little. I've experienced some wild things. People we need Jesus. This Movie was an excellent description of The way Satan works in people and destroys their lives.

It was good .. so creepy spiritual realm ! ! Amazing to see the connections of the killings through abortion, euthanasia, nafarious . And how the enemy hatred toward Eddie and tormented him ... I'm sad that the doctor never got saved . But he did call out to God . But not saved by Jesus..

My husband and I watch Pastor Jack all the time!!! ❤️ However, I did not need to see this movie. Very disturbing - not for everyone to see. Just saying. Yes, it was well done, but why not bring redemption into the movie - speak the Name - JESUS! Give those caught up in the enemy's hold the true way to be saved and delivered...in the name of JESUS!🙏🙏✝️
Kudos to Sean Patrick Flanery. It made me want to cast the demon out of him while watching the movie Haha but for real, wonderful job on portraying just how “personal” demons can be. They have their own name, character/personalities, and hierarchies. Remember though, He who is in me, is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4) stand firm saints and put on the full armor of God!
I have a question , growing up I have always been told to not watch things with demonic notations because it opens the door for evil to mess with us .. I am being real when I ask this question not a smart-alick … I genuinely want to know ..

I think you should watch it and pray before watching that you will understand what is the intention of this film , and that is for all of us to be aware that the demonic realm is very real and we can’t be ignorant how the devil works to ruin every Christian in the world and most of all by you watching this film this may encourage you to start to arm yourself against the devil by reading the Bible and make it part of your daily routine because the Bible is the only weapon against the enemy but when we say the Bible is the weapon, what it really means is ‘know, understand, apply, live it ‘ . Make the word in the Bible as part of your lifestyle. That is how The Bible becomes your weapon against the devil. We can read the Bible from cover to cover but without asking God for the wisdom to understand it , you won’t understand it , and as a result there won’t be no application of what one reads, the reading becomes fruitless.
I’m not sure if you got any replies, so incase you didn’t, here is mine. I don’t watch movies like this, or rather, like the insidious, and the like, because of that. I try and guard my heart and mind from things like that because I don’t want to give evil a foothold in my soul. I realize that evil cannot dwell in me because I have the Holy Spirit in me, but, everyday we make a choice what master to serve, and I chose my lord and savior Jesus Christ, and I don’t want to willingly put myself in a position to chose wrong. There are so many ways for the enemy to get in, and to corrupt, and what we watch is one of those. I don’t expect anyone to agree, I’m just telling you my thoughts on the you invite it in thing. I will say, I am torn on this movie, and I really don’t know how I feel. I kind of want to watch from a Christian standpoint, but at the same time, I don’t want to open myself to evil. So I’m going to pray about it, and see what the lord says, and that’s all I can tell you. May god give us wisdom.

Watching a movie isn’t opening a “portal” or making it easy for the demonic to rattle your cage. If you’re a Christ follower, they’re doing that anyway. We all have bulleyes on our backs. This isn’t a horror movie or glorifying the demonic… it makes many points about what spiritual warfare actually IS, and what the enemy actually does.
Why did the "Christian" author not present the gospel of Jesus Christ and actually write about any of the characters getting deliverance from the demonic possession in this movie and therefore glorifying God through his work?

Major themes of vast importance are usually left out of movies that should bring glory to God…I am always dubious of films that are produced to get the Christians to invest money…sadly this goes on in the world today

I think it's a great idea to focus on the Forces of Wickedness, and Spiritual Darkness in High Places. In one TH-cam video he says he didn't know if his shower experience came from a Demond or not. I would be very careful about watching this movie, you're underestimating the power of your enemy, and how he works, big mistake. He tells you a little about his experience, does it sound like something you want to invite into your life? If Christians would keep their focus on Jesus Christ they wouldn't need a Christian Horror movie, the Bible teaches all you need to know on this subject and gives you the power to handle it. Never Temp the Lord thy God, you play with fire, you will get burnt. Spend that movie time, commute to movie and watching time in pray, the return will be much better for your life.
It’s not a horror movie and it isn’t scary. It’s a psychological thriller and geared toward unbelievers. However, believers should watch it for the spiritual warfare aspect and then watch it with their unbelieving family and friends.
I saw Nefarious at the theater and I am looking forward to streaming it soon.
I thought I was a good Christian all my life. I did not understand being born again until it happened to me just a year ago. Being a good Christian isn’t going to get anyone into heaven.

What hurt my heart the most watching this movie is how no-one, not even a priest, called upon the holy name of Jesus to save that poor man Edward. It made me want to spread the name of Jesus in a way I never have before, they may not accept or agree with me in the moment, but they might remember Jesus and call.
We all want good endings to movies but that’s not real life. And just like real life, most people do not call out to Jesus to save themselves or others 😢. I don’t think the writers wanted this to be a feel good story - they want unbelievers to think long and hard of the spiritual warfare going on around us and the consequences of continuing in unbelief.
I haven't seen it yet, but if it doesn't offer the salvation message, it will fail to save the lost, and give them hope of eternal life in Christ!❤❤❤
I disagree. It points people to a need for the Savior even if it didn’t have a salvation prayer in it. Look for that to happen in the sequel.
@@Peaches0359 ok. But each saint will be judged by Christ when we get home, as to what we did to save the lost, and take them out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of Christ!! Also many other good works that the Lord prepared beforehand that we should walk in them....ok? NO GOSPEL,,,, NO SALVATION......
@@carolbrock5798You are right in knowing the gospel is salvation. Jesus gave us the direction to be tell the gospel in His name. However, this movie, I believe is a tool to do just that. "Society" in general have turned their back on God, some are doing much more than just rejecting God. This movie makes it very clear there are 2 sides, you are on one OR the other. So, possibly prayer that this movie will be a tool to get the unsaved to think about that. Also, a tool that believers might need to dust off their Bible, read it, and find renewed faith in the Lord, they have chosen, Jesus Christ. That we chose to represent Him as ambassadors in our lifestyle choices and testimony. I pray God will use this movie for His will.......that none should perish. God bless you!!
I enjoyed it, it was so sad though. Going to have some friends watch it. I agreed with everything.
My ex in-laws had that happen, the husband and wife were in an accident,and his wife was thrown forward into the dash and busted her shoulder all out of place her husband got out to go to her side and help her,then he walked back around the car to get in and take her to the hospital and another car came and hit him before he could get in and it killed him, it was so sad
