So excited to play season two, have my rulebook pre-ordered! This video is great, really gives me insight into some teams I can build before I finish kitbashing a Krox. 😅
Hahaha yeah, you can survive a few games without the Krox arriving like an End of Level Boss!!
I think that the Krox is in with a shout for best big guy in the game. So Krox & Four is I think my go to.
Two ChamSkinks means that there is a good chance you can be in position to catch a kick off so it might save you a reroll picking it up.
There's also the 1 reroll build: krox, 6 saurus, 1 reroll, 4 skinks for 960 (can add dedicated fans or chameleons as you wish). I've heard some coaches considering this, as they REALLY want the maximum amount of high ST players.
Not sure I'd pick it, but it is an option.

Yep the power game works well in bb and the lizards are up there with the best for the power game.. .you just need to keep your scorers safe until you go for the td which you do as quick as poss when going for it....play the bash game when everyone is down rush the score :-)
This is basically it. Lizards already really feel every Saurus MNG in league play, so why would you start off similarly weak on purpose? That just opens up your existing Sauruses to get injured easier, and then all you have is skinks.
With the random MVP, more big guys also gets you more chances to get that extra SPP where it's actually needed, instead of on skinks.
I love 6 saurus, but being without a Krox is a no go for me! Also, super pumped that chameleons aren't basically worthless now!

@@BoneheadPodcast I was so disappointed with chameleons before. I thought they looked cooler than regular skinks, but you basically paid 10k more for a worse player! Now, BB2020 needs to hurry up so I can use those guys! Any idea on release?

Where do you get Krox models? New to the scene.
I'm digging my Lizardmen out of the loft for my first BB game since this edition was released. How do the choices from this guide hold up after a couple years?

What starting rosters? There's only one roster for lizards. Show up, wait for the paycheck, take the money and run.
I'm thinking going for the Full Saurus build. Defend the little guys!
I'm not sure which build to go for. I'm worried a couple of my Saurus could end up being expensive chew-toys for my friend's rat ogre so the Kroxigor option might be on the cards.

Krox and four for me. 1 box and a Krox (and I’ve got a nice one!) and this will be league team number one. I think the chameleon skinks could be an interesting offensive and defensive player now can’t wait to run two

Playing orcs and black orcs a lot so leaning towards the Kroxigor build tbh

One reroll is manageable, I'd say, and the power you get from the players on the field is quite a lot. 4 Dedicated Fans should get you to 2nd RR - Apo - 3rd RR - Cham Skink quite fast. Then you are good to go at your first redraft.
That's great analysis there Maverick! The DF *and* the (hopefully) high scoring ability of the Skinks should net you plenty of cash... but it can go wrong really quickly haha!
Honestly, even with the price bumps, I think this team still rocks. Now that most passing got nerfed, strong cages are a must, and saurus cages are TERRIFYING.

Ive always liked lizards ruleswise, just never been a big fan of the minis, thats why I'm glad the new black orcs exist, best of both worlds lol

Currently running 1x Kroxigor, 6x Saurus, 2x Skink, 2x Chameleon, 1 reroll and +2 Fan. My rerolls are 1's half the time anyways and I'd rather start bashy as all Hell w/ all the players i want to start, whether it be Exhibition or League.

Humans can be really interesting with the halflings and all the buffs. Orcs too for another video

For me the chameleons are not ball handler, they are defensive players - add block, tackle, diving tackle, side step and the opposition will start to hate having them around their ball carrier or receiver. Even better two of them in reserve control an area of 14 squares large and 7 deep where they can mark a receiver in case of passing.
I'm still mad the Chameleons didn't get Monsterous Mouth.
How does one acquire a Krox?
Well, GW don’t have one out yet - but two great options are from Fanath (fanath.com/en/lizards/112-big-lizard.html) or Winzor Chog (www.winzorchogminiatures.com/product-page/big-croc)

Not the hardship of trying to be competitive with a Rotspawn Nutgle build, plus 3 Bloaters, 6 Rotters and only the 1 Pestigor if I took the 3 Rerolls 🙄 only going to get the Lizards for me son, most likely so he can add them to his Skaven and beat me with them 😒
Haha, Nurgle will be worse for a few games... then climb quicker I think! Early signs point to quicker advancement with random skills, and a better average income even if you lose! Both should help Nurgle! 🤞
@@BoneheadPodcast I took them last season, not sure I would take the team again with no starting skills and build skills incredibly slowly and provided me with one draw over nine games as I crashed out of the season with all the grace of a flightless avian trying to navigate tree branch to tree branch trajectories wearing a blindfold. 🤷🏻♂️ I love their fluff, just not the results.
Nurgle imo are incredibly hard to play from 1mil to even 1.5 (which isn't really a thing) but once they develop, they are absolutely dreadful to play against, especially with passing being harder.

Having just brought a Lizardman team, I was wondering. What is the best way to get extra player models? One boxes gives you all of the Saurus and chameleons you need, but only 4 skink. and I am the sort of mad lad that likes the idea of a horde of skinks with a Kroxigor holding the middle. But I don't like the idea of buying an entire team box for just 4 models and not being able to sell the other models, as no one needs any extras.
