I have 2 as well and could never imagine under any circumstances leaving them like this. I would take them to a shelter as my last resort. These dogs are very attached to their owners and when something like this happens to them it breaks their world. Inexcusable.

I’m really shattered by the large number of videos being posted about dogs that have been abandoned. It’s an unspeakable sadness for these innocent animals. Thank god there’s still decent people out there coming to the rescue of these poor creatures and that many have a happy ending. Thank you for your efforts!
Unfortunately nearly all rescues are full of dogs handed back after the covid lockdowns and tge normal strays, its awful but until one gets adopted the rescue can't let another in.
Absolutely beautiful dogs. Incomprehensible how any human could abandon a helpless animal and leave them to starve. And the filthy condition of what could be a very nice home! Surely someone could track who owned or rented the house and hold them responsible.

When you lock an animal and aabandon them you're not only crushing their soul by abandoning them, you're leaving them helpless to starve to death with no resources to look for food. Starvation is a cruel, debilitating, painful death, second only to poison. DO NOT ABANDON YOUR PETS, Rehome them or surrender them, but NEVER abandon them like this. This story has a happy ending, most do not. 😢

My wife and i had the same thing happen to us. We found a dog abandoned in a house. He had been there for two weeks without food and only toilet water to drink. We took him home with us and he has been daddys dog ever since. He is half beagle and half basset hound. We say he is a bagel. We named him freddie. Love him.

I have rescued 4 German Shepherds (one that passed away as he had health issues when I first adopted him) that were abused and abandoned by previous owners. I have seen them all go from being so skinny and dealing with PTSD to having health conditions that were not treated. 😢 I love them so much as I’ve trained each one to be service dogs for my father and sister. They are very smart, loving and happy dogs. They ARE family. It really hurts and brings tears to my eyes to see other dogs being mistreated, starved and abandoned. Thank goodness for kind and loving people that take in and care for such animals that need loving and safe homes to thrive in.
Rue looks just like the female German Shepherd we rescued a few years back. We love our girl and couldn't imagine life without her. How can people do this to these sweet animals 😢

Those Poor Dogs. What is Wrong with People? You know, I’m Amazed After All these Yrs… Decades since ASPCA has been Spading & Neutering Animals for Free to try & Cut Down on these Devastating Situations, that we STILL have so Many Animals Treated & Neglected this way‼️😢
It Shows how many Cruel People there are out there around the World… That makes it Our Fault, Not theirs‼️😡

German Shepards are a wonderful breed of dog. They are to be respected and loved.
I have rescued 4 German Shepherds (one that passed away as he had health issues when I first adopted him) that were abused and abandoned by previous owners. I have seen them all go from being so skinny and dealing with PTSD to having health conditions that were not treated. 😢 I love them so much as I’ve trained each one to be service dogs for my father and sister. They are very smart, loving and happy dogs. They ARE family. It really hurts and brings tears to my eyes to see other dogs being mistreated, starved and abandoned. Thank goodness for kind and loving people that take in and care for such animals that need loving and safe homes to thrive in.

Rue looks just like the female German Shepherd we rescued a few years back. We love our girl and couldn't imagine life without her. How can people do this to these sweet animals 😢
