So basically, whatever the problem, it's completely your fault.

In India every years many lives are lost in Govt Hospitals ICU units because of fire 🔥 due to short circuit. This is despite fire audits done by experts!

Yeah a surge arrestor definitely cannot control the weather, and most will not protect equipment from a direct lightning strike.

SPDs are for protecting your electrical equipment, not the home itself, for that you'd need a lightning rod.

High voltage is one in major cause of fire which you have not included in video. Other causes are break of neutral in 3 phase supply or phase in neutral.

High voltage itself is not a cause of a fire. Be specific.

a surge arrestor won't keep your house from being struck by lightning, it will just lessen the damage!

I just had an electrical fire. I have a schneider electric circuit breaker which did not trip off!!! Luckily we were able to curtail it with fire extinguishers. Awaiting an electrician to identify the cause.

@@schneiderelectric thank you for reaching out. Shows you're customer friendly. It happens there was a short just before the meter. Cut and joined Electrical cables. Poorly terminated. The Schneider electric circuit breaker is located inside the house after the meter. I'll share the details with your team. Thanks

The only task for the circuit breaker is to avoid the overloading of the wires (drawing too much current). Not to stop or prevent a fire. Your situation was probably caused due an improper installation

You telling me your house doesn’t have a meter room that cut off the electricity when it’s overstocked? In my country every house has this box like their demo here is exactly what all the house in Singapore have
