I fought this guy a few times and he became pretty easy once you know how to deal with him

Pirate Man is a walk in the park if you have the Wave Burner. It's very preposterous how a water-based robot is weak to a fire-type weapon.

By the way, If you want any help on dealing with Tengu Man, I have uploaded a practice session of mine on my channel.
It's good to know that second Ammoner can be pushed from any point of his hitbox because it's hard to hit him right into face.
Fantastic job at Pirate Man. I was never good at this fight even in normal PR. Like, I'd say Quick Man's the worst RM because his pattern is more broken but Pirate Man's battle combines way too many things that are done wrong. There's awful hitboxes on Remote Mines, there's a bubble which takes too many hits to destroy, has inconsistent hitbox, bouncing attack is garbage and lowering water level is like a cherry on the top. Did any of the delevopers think that it's just way too unfair? Like, I've been practicing this battle for a long time but couldn't make a single successful No Miss attempt.

This was one of those stages I feared going into this challenge. It took a long time just navigating around the Remote Mines, and that was most of the fight. The rest was luck about which direction Pirate Man would bounce around. If he just did the side to side motion it would have been fine, but the 45 degree motion with falling water is garbage. Most of the time, he would end up in the middle of the room, which is undodgeable with 3 Remote Mines on one side. So in that case, you would kite the first on one side, then make Pirate Man jump with a shot then kite the other 2 on the other side. Messy.
Whoever disliked is jealous

How infamous do you think he is compared to say Dynamo Man and/or Burner Man then? (Which would be more doable from a human's point of view?)
The stage is a complete joke and goes very quickly. The boss tho.. omg, this boss..
Shooting the bubble itself doesn’t count as a miss because it’s destructible. What makes this fight difficult is that sometimes, and it’s not at all clear why, is that the bubble hitbox doesn’t form, so you have to stop with a single shot - because you’ll hit Pirate Man during invincibility frames, which DOES count as a miss.
But if you don’t care about that, then by all means, fire away those 6 buster shots and stop the bubble completely every time, which makes Pirate Man’s fight much easier.
But as you saw during the outtakes, it was almost always a case of Pirate Man ending up in the middle of the room and then hitting me with the Remote Mines. I’ve never been good at triggering him to jump consistently, but that would be the way to recover.
This is one of the most luck-based bosses and consequently the most difficult in this game.. at least with these rules.
