I've watched all the videos in this play list now. Thank you. Informative and enjoyable. I am glad to see the emphasis on safety at all times. Chainsaws and trees are not like humans. You don't get a second chance. Also, it was nice to come across training from England instead of the USA. I'm in a British Colony far far away and appreciate learning from someone "closer to home". Long live Her Majesty. Rule Britannia.
Simon, good to hear from you and a new channel. That was pure luck about the cable. Finally got a bottle last year for the blow torch, brilliant, cheers
Thanks Andy, another great vid. I'm going to be buying a Tirfor winch in the next few weeks, what would you recommend for a first time buy? I'll need strops, shackles etc.
Hi, I've had this Tirfor for many years and it does me well with a bit of maintenance. It was reclaimed. The sheer pins are the designed weak point in the system so all strops and shackles must be above the winch capacity. This one is a 1.5t so all kit is at least 2t, cheers
A person after my own heart in systems and safety.
cheers
In watching you work with trees it becomes readily apparent of my need to apply more patience and discipline to my work. Thank you, Andy.
Charlie, a sharp saw that takes no effort, calm, and knowing what you are trying to achieve, cheers
