Imagine the internal conflict of Resistance members, especially Black Mesa survivors, arguing with their comrades over whether or not former HECU members can even be trusted.

A while back I kinda made up my own story for what Adrian's role would be during the events of HL2. Hope I won't go *too* much in detail. My depiction of Adrian's story would've showed him being put back on Earth one month before the base game starts. Just like Gordon, he also loses his uniform and unlike Gordon, he has to find himself a new one, so he scavenges himself a CP uniform and modifies it to suit his standards, even creating a more unique design. For a while, he works as a lone wolf type character. Perhaps a vigilante that works for nobody. At one point, he's captured by the Resistance, thinking he's a Combine spy. So they send him on lone missions against his will until he eventually gains their trust, even befriending Barney at one point. Adrian never meets Gordon in this story of mine, but when the uprising starts, I've also set up this high stake that once Gordon's on his way to the Citadel, the Resistance finds out that the Combine was expecting him and has set up a trap for him inside. Adrian's then on an intense race against time to prevent Gordon from reaching the Citadel first or else he dies. There was even this concept that Adrian helps out the Resistance not because he wants to save Earth, but wants to find himself some sort of closure or redemption for his failure to secure the nuke back in Black Mesa. This story is... Really not perfect. I don't write stories that often, so I never found myself as someone skilled in that field, but this video heavily reminds me of this story I made up and felt it'd be worth it sharing it here.

Where did you get those synths? Also, about 15 seconds into the video, it appears you have posed the conscript NPCs (kind of like the scenic npcs). Did you just get a shot of them at the right time or is there a way to animate them?

A setting where despite the "linked citadel reactors" being brought offline due to the events of half life 2 the combine are still able to maintain a tight grip.
I want a game with Modern Warfare's gameplay that takes place somewhere in North America in the Half-Life universe. You play as Shephard, and are inserted into a North American city to take down the Combine. You link up with the NA resistance, who'd likely be way better armed than the resistance in Europe due to the fact that there are more guns in the US than people (meaning the Combine couldn't possibly confiscate every single gun), and I imagine remnants of the HECU would be its leaders. More tactical gameplay than HL2, with realistic guns, recoil, animations, and ADS. I'd love that so much.

I believe it's MW Base. There's a lot of stuff in that base itself and other creators that use it made the basilisk from the big iron video skip made. The AK is in the assault rifle add on that comes with the MW base on the workshop if you wanted it.

Eh it’s mediocre at best but with a few tweaks here and there it could become a better more fleshed out story
