Amazing, just amazing. David Phelps has a voice that only comes along once in a lifetime. He has been so blessed by God and he is spending his life blessing others.
This song is a personal testimony for me cause many days I feel like am alone but I always remember that God is always here whenever we need him

Where No One Stands Alone was co-written by myself and Mark Catanzero. Mark's father had passed away the previous fall. He and his mother left Kansas City and moved to Central Missouri. Mark was afraid of being socially isolated in a new place. My family also left Kansas City moving to Northern Missouri. I didn't know anyone there and I was apprehensive about moving. We both were expressing faith God would sustain us in an uncertain future.

Mosie Lister wrote this gospel hymn in 1955. Jimmie Davis recorded it in 1960 for a Vocalion single and Elvis Presley sang it on bis 1967 album How Great Thou Art .

My Dad was a song leader in our church.
He and Hiram (Dad's good friend) used to sing this song together.
My Dad played the guitar.
They had beautiful harmony when they used to sing this song.
I would cry like a baby when they would sing together.
Well, they are both reunited in Heaven, along with my Mother
who passed away from Alzheimer's Disease at the age of 70.
My Dad was 81 when he passed away.
This song brought back so many memories.

We can not stand alone when we have Jesus in our life. But sometimes life can be lonely and listening to this particular GVB group sing this beautiful song can make the loneliness a bit easier, so thank you Mr. Bill Gaither for making it possible.

As I listen to this song I can see a person standing alone in a very dark place, then suddenly Jesus is right there and His light and love surround that person and lifts them up and sets them on the right track .I thank the Lord for a good imagination and providing this encouraging group .Thank you for sharing .God bless you too.
