I could see this being a house for a high-maintenance professor. Maybe they majored in sports health (I think it's just part of the biology major in the Sims 4). So maybe they're using their kitchen to prepare health food and practicing their lectures about health in that kitchen, it makes sense for the research room and all the gym equipment, and maybe they have the angry red bedroom because they were very broody as a young person and that carried over in their music and decor taste, but they keep that in their bedroom because they want their guests to have a happier, calmer vibe (thus the living room and boring bedroom).

I can see this house as a really intense "Writer's Retreat" where each room is designed to inspire and evoke whatever emotion you need to finish your book depending on the genre and you have everything you need on the lot and get locked into the "Tense" room to write until it's finished. That way the oddly themed bedrooms make a little more sense to me
i’ve watched so many people play the sims and do challenges and your building style has been the most unique. i absolutely love how creative you are it’s a very nice change of scenery in the sims world for me. really scratches my brain in such a good way 😭😭😭
yellow i think actually represents happy, it's a warm color too. it represents optimism & positivity according to a lot of images & sites i've been looking at. (not to mention that Joy in inside out was a glowing yellow.)

So, the workaholic single parent has the tense 😬 room to hide in from their teens mood swings and try and get work done. The living room is the place they come together to play games or watch tv etc and so it’s happy times, also where they spend holidays. The one thing they have in common is food so they both become very focused when they Cook and eat even though it’s not usually together. The flirty bathroom and inspiring bathroom depends on how the single parent or angsty teen is feeling that day. With all the tension, work, mood swings etc in the house the parent just wants a calm quiet, yes, boring room to get away to and finally sleep. The end

Yellow is the easiest color to see at a distance due to its long wavelengths. This is why we have yellow taxis and school buses So I think yellow in the happy room is just fine :)
I think for tense you could’ve put a pet area under the stairs to make it seem like they have a therapy pet. It would help with easing your sims stress AFTER they get tense from working and then they can do other activities☺️
I get criminal vibes from the sim who lives here. He doesn’t spend much time in his bedroom and is a ladies man but only for a quick shower woohoo- he won’t give them anymore of his precious alpha male time as to sleep in bed together, that’s why he has a single. I have an idea for a new build challenge. It's like the puzzle challenge, where you have to fit pre-built boxes/rooms together to make the shell of the house. To make it a bit harder, you have to place 1 - 3 items in the rooms, before you put the rooms together. The items and walls can't be moved for the rest of the build. Sorry if this challenge already exist, if so I must have missed it ☺️
For bored, I can see the build going two ways: 1. fill the house with items the Sims can use to get unbored. 2. Make the house look boring and have nothing to do.
Maybe who lives there is someone really foucosed in their carrier but ends up having the orhers aspects of their live kinda messy? The bored room might be from their teenager child that they dont get along with, because of how much they are foucosed on their idea of sucess, aka, a good carrier, good looks, (the energized part?) confident, being good at flirting (cuz of the bathroom) and the angry part ties to the relationship with their kid?
What about doing each tint home is a different country? If you get Scotland, for example, you could take into account unicorns, since that's the national animal.
