How good was Zlatan Ibrahimovich actually? #GOAT
Second episode of a documentary series where I plan to present all the greatest players of all time and then give them a score so a ranking of the best players can be created. In this episode we take on Ibra , coming from Ajax just like Frank Rijkaard, Dennis Bergkamp and Wesley Sneijder the iconic swedish striker is as notorious for his personality and funny moments as he is for his ability on the ball, but just how good was he and how does he stack up with the greatest of all time.
Who should I do next? Dont forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE for more content like this.
Markus Rosenberg, a legend in my local team Malmö FF, the team were Zlatan started his career, he scored in the 95th minute against Dynamo Kiev in his last home game, an amazing ending
Henrik Larsson, most underrated player in history
You did the worse marks for Ibra reviews again
7 out of 10 for touch is criminal.
You should watch some of zlatans clip once again dude 😂. His first touch and ball control were as smooth as it can get. He also had the best finishing , flair and consistency also .
I'd give him a 10/10 for Mentality. The guy has a Winner's Mentality, plain and simple.
Agreed but his also way too cocky and problematic
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT his cockiness makes his mentality one of the best of all time
nah, think you are refering to much to his talk. I've actually never seen a Champions League game against other greates he decided. Basically every time he played against top oposition in the CL like Chelsea, City, Barca, Manchester, Real he flopped. Maybe it was a mental problem because in the league he scored against some of them. For Barca he was the weakest player in the match against Inter. For Inter he missed crucial chances against ManU which Ronaldo on the other side scored and there are much more games to refer to
@Rushil he performed well, but did he have one exceptional game on the big stages? I can't think of any desisive goal in the Champions League against any top opposition. A Drogba maybe didn't score that many career goals but was desisive almost every time
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT you mix things here.
Cockieness has nothing to do with the mentality points.
Zlatan, as Ronaldo, has 10/10.
Do a new one about Z and do it right, dude.
Zlatan has - so far - won 13 league titles, a record he shares with Ryan Giggs.
He's won these in four different leagues, he's won Serie A with three different clubs.
So how the hell does he only get 3/10 for trophies?
hahaha EXACTLY
13 league titles and e's won Serie A with three different clubs. is epic
! Won with ajax, juve, inter, barca, milan, psg. 4 different leagues. 13 league titles and e's won Serie A with three different clubs. is epic
I know this was a really stupid video, he’s prob a zlatan hater.
He hasn't even had a sniff of the champions League in his entire career, nor will he ever.
How is he not a long distance specialist? He is THE long distance specialist
Exactly
@18BD1A052H Kmit cry more
*THEE* long distance specialist ? Uhh.. you need more experience in the sport, kid 😂
His free kick is underrated af , brute strength with good accuracy
Thank you.
Man Y'all mustve forgot who this man is.
From what I saw growing up watching him I rate his stats:
1 Finishing: 10/10
2 Positioning: 9/10
3 Physicality: 10/10
4 Speed: 6.5 /10
5 First touch and Ball control 8.5/10
6 Mentality 10/10
7 Consistency 7.5/10
8 Flair 7.5/10
9 Longevity 10/10
10 Icon 10/10
89/100
Arguably one of the greatest strikers to ever do it massively underrated in this video. He can score at will from anywhere, He's one of the most mentality and physically strang players to play the sport, no sure what you've been smoking bro but he's definitely a long distance specialist. Although you thin he is not the fastest player "by a long shot" he's also not the slowest on the pitch "by a long shot". It's also odd that you've judge his overall ranks heavily on his international success as Sweden has never been a true power house if football its almost like saying Mohammed Salah isn't any good because he plays for egypt. Not to mention his consistency is almost unmatched he scores in almost every second game he plays across his whole career with multiple teams and different competitions and I know that this video is a few months old but he's just won the Serie A again at the age of 40 playing with a torn ligament for most of the season, how much more mental toughness do do want out of a player. I think its hard to judge any player on their trophies if all you deem worthy is a champions league trophy its laughable. It's easy to make anyone look worse than they are if you knit pick at certain things and blow in way out of proportion. Im not a huge fan of the guy but i respect greatness here will never be another player like Zlatan Ibrahimovic...
This is facts

7/10 for touch and control?? Zlatan is 11/10
Back in Ajax he was a 10 out of 10 but at his peak he wasnt
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT at his peak he wasn't?? Smh
7/10 for touch WHAT
Have you seen him play? He destroyed the competition.
7out of ten? Whaa he scored goals weird angle of on first touches some elites can't even do that damnn lay off the drugs kid
69 score??? Are u kidding? Ibra is way better then many of the names above him in this score
i have never seen a worse opinion about Zlatan. Disrespectful to underrate his attributes
Wow, massively underrated in many categories!
@18BD1A052H KmitZlatan is actually underrated
He has had world class creators only 4 times in his career( 2009/10, 2010/11, 2015/16 and Maybe when he had Robinho and Cassano in 2011/12) compared to Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo who have had almost all the time and still managed to score over 530 goals. He has 190+ assists but his playmaking skills are really underrated. Also you don't make it easy for yourself by changing teams every 3 to 4 years and he isn't typical centreforward who just stays in the box to wait goalscoring changes. If he would have done that he would have many more goals. He also has played over 30 league games 7 times compared to CR7(13),Lewangolski(11)Suarez(10) and Messi(11).
Another thing: one of the most stupid arguments that I have heard when someone is saying that Zlatan is overrated is that he played in Ligue1 and It's easier to score there. During his time PSG scored 338 league goals and Barcelona scored 437 and they scored 100 or more in league. PSG also scored 5 or more goals 0 times in his first season, in the second 4 times and in the third 3 times. It's not as easy to score in Ligue1 as in la liga
Nedved: "Zlatan is an extremely technically gifted player, the best player I ever played with."
This guy: 7/10 ball control and first touch
This guy doesn’t know
Zlatan scored more goals after turning 30 than he did in his 20's. His touch is master class. His mentality is supreme. He has the confidence of Ali and skill to back it up. This episode criminally underrates Zlatan. Even saying his name gives me power... ZLATAN 💪
Man, you Zlatan fangirls are a trip 😂🤦🏼
Consistency 4! Won with ajax, juve, inter, barca, milan, psg. 4 different leagues
Mentality 5 wtf the man is an institution for it haha!
If he doesnt have the finishing 10/10 cause of free kicks i guess you haven't been watching him regularly but just collected info to make the video!
Trophy Cabinet I agree it should be a less cause of the champions leauge. But it should be never because of the international trophies. You can not expect players single handedly win for the country, he needed a better generation to do it (as did xavi who had iniesta, villa, ramos, puyol, casillas! As did Ronaldo who had rivaldo, ronaldinho, cafu, carlos, etc.)
He even won trophy for the transition Manchester United
@BDAHKmit not even Europa League merchants anymore.
Is this person MAD? Zlatan First touch and ball control: 7/10 ???
ikr, I don't think there is a over 190cm player who can even rival him in that.
11/10 ffs
It's 20/10
This man also said gattusso/kaka/seedorf/pirlo was a ”solid” midfield. He knows nothing about football, just basically reads everything of wikipedia
In the begging, he played like a CAM!
I think he deserve a 10/10 in finishing
its a tough grading system, if he had become more prolific from set pieces he would have gotten a 10
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT well I said 10 out of 10 because he is the only player who uses some kung fu to score goals

I followed most of your videos in 'How Good' series and appreciate the quality and hard work you have put in. But in this video, I can't help but point out this to be one of the most biased videos I have seen in a while.
Zlatan's touch/ball control is only 7? Speed/Physicality 7? Although not the fastest he is no slouch and no one beats him in strength..
Again he is mentally one of the strongest.yet 5. I could go on and one.
Disappointed!
PS: I am not a Zlatan fanboy but he deserves much better in restrospect to points awarded to some of the other legends on similar categories.
Totally agree!
Frfr
sorry mate if you look at zlatans top speed his ajax goals he had sick pace
Yeah but not consistently throughout his career. At some points he was pretty sluggish.
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT His sprint speed is still toptier. This is shown in both manchester united and milan medical examination
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT Because he is 39 YO
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT If you count players that have been playing in the last 20 years. Only Messi and Ronaldo has more goals of all time. And only Lewa and Suarez are close to passing Zlatan but Lewa will do it only plaing in a very easy league thru out his whole career. Try to comapare how easy it is to score 40+ goals for Bayern in Bundesliga compared to score 40+ goals in Serie A from 2000-2010.

All in all a nice video but I have to say I strongly disagree with some things. Trophy cabinet 3/10? Look at his league wins! Sure he never won the CL and that hurts but 3/10 is ludicrous. This also relates to consistency. Flair should definently be 10/10. Saying his national career was underwhelming isn't fair either. among other things.
I know it might seem harsh but the point is that I'm comparing him to the greatest of all time, Figo got a 7 in Flair and he was much more aesthetically pleasing to watch then Ibra, you know what I mean? It's just a really heavy critic, no disrespect to ibra
I agree he was more aestatically pleasing to watch but football isn't dancing and Ibras highlight reel is as good as anyone in the world's. If aestatically pleasing was the metric ibra might as well get 2/10😂
@@joar4509 yeah but that's the point of flair, it's literally to judge how entertaining they were to watch and goalscorers tend to you know not be the most pleasing to watch as they thrive of a few outstanding moments in every match while play makers are constantly entertaining the audience
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT Zlatan should have a 10/10 flair and 8/10 or 9/10 trophy cabinet
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT You can't seriously say that Flair is how entertaining a player is to watch and then give Zlatan a 3/10. The dude does acrobatics like no other, pushes defenders away like they're not even there, he scores goals from 25+ meters and is the only player I know off that has close to 10 scorpion kick goals.
Your definition of flair seems heavily biased towards players that are elegant, but that's not the same as flair. A player like Suarez is far from elegant but he does have flair.
During the 2000, the protagonists were Kaka, Ronaldinho, CR7, Messi, Henry, Raul, Torres, Eto, Rooney and Drogba, everyone won the CL. And here we have Mr Zlatan only highest CL semifinal achievement was with Barcelona. Even at Barcelona he couldn't put his ego aside and win the CL.
good timeline and background... but are you kidding me with your attributes. He has to be one of the GOATS. has to be!
He is, everyone in this series is one of the GOATs, the ranking only serves to measure first how good they were and then how great their careers were. But a sidenote, I used to be tougher on the ratings back in my first few videos and Zlatan was the second, I'll fix that eventually
If he's one of the GOATS, how would you describe players like Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho, Del Piero, Trezeguet, Ribéry, Sneijder, Robben, Torres, Villa, Müller, Suarez or even Mandzukic? They performed well in World Cup and Champions League, something that Zlatan has never done.
@@anmolk6144 He has always played for teams who were dominating their league. You're not proving me wrong, he's never performed in important games (world cup and champions league knockout round). Like i said, Zlatan against Sampdoria in november = 10/10, Zlatan against Chelsea quarterfinals of champions league = 1/10.
@@anmolk6144 He's not scoring +20 goals per season in a top league. The last time he did was in 2016, if you consider Ligue 1 as a top league.
@@anmolk6144 So Roger Milla is better than Maradona? he was still scoring at age 56
69/100 this video is a joke😂
Mentality 5?? and consistency 4??? He played in Europe highest level for 20 years .. Rooney for example is 4 years younger and has retired 😅
This man just robbed Zlatan...
Wtf how good WAS Zlatan he is still playing. Sry I'm a Swed. Btw some of the facts is wrong. All in all a good video
It's just to keep the titles consistent (if you notice the thumbnail says "is") could you tell me what facts, just to make sure I don't get them wrong again?
Thanks for the compliment btw
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT trophies, bal control, flair, mentality. You basically bodied a legend bro
We all have a bad day at the office sometimes. I guess this time it was the uploaders turn cuz those ratings were way off point. I get that Zlatan is polarising but this was quite slanderous even from the most cynical point of view. With this video being the exception, I think you're doing a great job "Daily dose of Football" ... On another note.. What the hell are you waiting for!? Do Zidane already so we can wrap up this entire GOAT thing!? :@
*he still IS good by the way. Multiple epic bicycle kick and volley goals, 7/10 Flair score???? clearly not a Zlatan fan
I wouldn't Im a big fan no, but I got nothing agaisnt him, use to like him a lot back then tho
Thing is you have Messi,CR7,R9,Ronaldinho and these just off the top off my head.So yeah,he did some very lovely acrobatics but nowhere near the above mentioned ones.
Ball control and Flair 7/10, Trophies 3/10. You should delete the video..
its just for fun, dont take it too seriously, also i suppose you dont follow the channel, a 7 is a great score
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT No, 7 is a great score for an average player, not for Ibra. Ball control is his best feature, he deserves at least a 9. And the 3 for trophies is equally ridiculous...
I don’t take this too seriously, at all...ahahahah but if i see something wrong in a PUBLIC YT video, i say it. just that.
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT it's for fun, don't take it seriously??
WTF,if you're wrong we will take it seriously, first touch and ball control can't be 7, I guess you started watching him playing since Man U, and 3 in Trophy.
You should stop making videos, it's very disrespectful 🙏🏻
Hhhhh true
Ibra-cadabra.... awesome confidence... great sense of humour. The dude is a football god! I hope he stays with AC MILAN til he retires.. its been great having him back...
For touch and control he is much more than 7/10. Some of his goals simply wouldn't have gone in, if anybody else got the touch... fact. The odd angles, all while seeming to be looking in an entirely different direction.... thats why the Barca fans called him Ibra-cadabra.. he was and is pure magic... God bless him..
i was in the stadium for zlatan's debut in mls, and i will treasure this moment forever. even in la we dont often see legendary players still capable of their best, and i'd be lying if i said zlatan didnt make me cry. we didnt win a trophy with him because we simply werent on his level. I was happy to see him close his career with another brave performance and unexpected trophy. pure legend
I’ve really enjoyed most of these videos where you’ve analysed all these different players... but you really missed the mark with the ratings for Zlatan, he deserves to be way higher up in the rankings
Adding my points here
Mentality 8
Consistency 8
Flair 9
Trophy 7-8
Which add to 13 points making him 82+ , even we deduct 2-3 points he easily makes it to 80.
Great videos good work 👍
I mean you rated his mentality 5 n trophy cabinet 3 .
I think everyone knows about his mentality , coming to trophies one Champions league would hv made him to 9-10 this guy has 33+ so it should be 7 -8 atleast
With 1 champions league I would normally give a 6-7 at most, they're tough ratings yk, a 69 is a great score, ibra is one of the greatest. Also thanks for the support. I really appreciate it ❤️
WOW! It is intresting how it is possible to have such different views of the same player. Ibra is one of the best target players to have ever graced the pitch. As someone already pointed out in the comments, he is THE long distance specialist, and he has single handedly won many matches both on club level and international level. One that comes to mind is the last game for Inter in the 07-08 season when he came on in the second half against Parma after recovering from a long-time injury and scored two goals to secure the scudetto. And not know for his skills? I would argue that his skills (and antics) were ALL he was know for during the first 10 years of his carrer. Ibra has always been a problematic player, but that does not take away the fact that he have often been the defacto player more or less everywhere he has played through the years.
It's like you hit most of his highlights through the years, but your conclusion does not match at all with what you showed and talked about. This video just comes of as weird.
damn, of all languages bro decided to speak fax 📠📠
you could argue the only reason his bullshit was ever tolerated on the pitch was because of his skill. what separates ibra from someone like bendtner or balotelli is that ibra has consistently backed up all his shit talk and disrespect with undeniable results, whereas bendtner and balotelli both became clowns. the good that they brought far outweighed the bad and at a certain point the stopped delivering results on the pitch.
Not sure why you have speed and physicality in the same category. His finishing is 10 for sure as well as first touch and his trophy cabinet is probably more of a 5-6 as he has league titles in 3 countries with different teams in Italy as well as most of the cups there and the Europa cup. He's definitely closer to 80 overall based on your system in my opinion.
First touch ?? When he can get that first touch like Bergkamp, then we can talk about giving him a 10 😂
This is the first comment section ever without the Zlatan jokes.
what a understatement
Zlatan was very unlucky to play the beatiful game at the same time as messi and ronaldo
Without them he would have won the fia best player of the year multiple times
when did he come 3rd then?
Probably not but he is one of the best forwards the last 20 years for sure but everyone els is dust behind Ronaldo and Messi.
Biggest negative is national team, Sweden had good teams early 2000s but in later years not so much.
Im a Swed and a huge Zlatan fan.
You can't deny that he was one of the best strikers of all time. More than 500 goals is extremely impressive.
Zlatan is the goat
No
This comment couldn't be more true
The man single-handedly save the LA Galaxy from ruin. His first game is probably the best game in the history of the league. The galaxy is the flag ship franchise and it was down on top of that they were losing 3-0!!! to the start of up new franchise Ready to take over the town. Without ZLATAN the LA galaxy would be no more. ZLATAN is the definition of great.
Ibra is up there among the football greats. Perhaps think of doing a ranking according to the generation of football talents that have emerged thus far. Would love to see a video of Nicholas Anelka.
Let me just fix what you did wrong.
Finishing: 11/10
Positioning: 10/10
Physicality & Speed: 10/10
Mentality: 8/10 (mostly what you said was kind of true but he mostly does it for marketing and it’s very useful to intimidate your opponent)
First touch/Ball control: 11/10
And the BEST long-shot specialist better than even Ronaldo in that category.
He should have gotten 6 to 7 points more.
Iam sorry! again i disagree with the grading of a player, in this case Zlatan:
why?
1. Trophy cabinet: he won 11 national titles in Holland, Italy, Spain and France
2. he won 15 other prices, supercups, cupcompetitions
3. he won the Uefacup, European supercup and the Worldcup for clubs
4. in total he won: 31 team trophy's
5. He won a lot of individual prices: 62 trophy's
6. He won in 8 years straight every year the national title:
Ibrahimović won between: 2004 en 2011 8 titels STRAIGHT with 5 different teams
Ajax (2003/04)
Juventus (2004/05 en 2005/06)
Internazionale (2006/07 tot en met 2008/09)
Barcelona (2009/10)
AC Milan (2010/11
7. To win 8 years straight, with 5 different teams, the national title in countries like Holland, Italy, Spain, Italy is UN-HEARD-OFF. We have to search very deep if there is 1 player in this hostory of footbal who has achieved this.
To win 8 national titles straight is possible, but to win them with 5 different teams in 3 different topcountries?
Negatif:
* he didnt win a CL / Ec1. For sure. That makes him not have a 10/10.
* he didnt win a cup with Sweden, but still its Sweden. Take that in consideration.
Trophey cabinet should make him 7/10.
Whats missing in his rapport:
He played at:
1. He played at Ajax, United, AC Milan, PSG, Juventus, Inter, Ac Milan, Barcelona @the greatest teams of the world, consistent at the highest levels in the best teams. He proved himself in the Dutch, English, French, Italian and Spanish competition. He deserves credit and points for this. Players like Maldini, Xavi, Casillias, Totti, Messi, R. Baggio moslty only proved himself in 1 country.
2. in the video you see a lot of Zlatan, but you dont see his top 20 of most amazing goals, sure the goal for Ajax - Nac and Sweden - England. But he scored so many. He scored so many impossible goals, which needs to be shown more in this video.
3. Plus he scored also freekicks. He became better and better at freekicks, specially longdistance see:
th-cam.com/video/wAzi-XEJ8Uo/w-d-xo.html
You say that, but you have the likesof CR7 and Messi which deserve a 10 just because of all the Ballon D'ors. If those were missing they wouldn't deserve a 10.And then you have the likes of Iniesta/Xavi who won world cup/euro champiins league. They are a 9 because no ballon d'or,Kaka is a 9 won everything he could but a bit of everything. Then you have players like Maldini, and I could keep going. At the same time,is 3 that bad? I mean 1 would be a player like Alan Shearer on trophies which has 1 epl,or Francesco Totti with 1 serie a title and 2 cups.Zlatan has 6 league titles in a top3 league,a uefa league cup and some pocket change trophies.Maybe 3 is a bit low because of the uefa league, but he is no higher than a 5.
the crazy thing is that his story is not over yet...
Good video but severely underrated. Dude was always a threat even when he got pushed out to the wing. You don't win puskas award with a flick with a 7/10 ball control and you dont have bad mentality if your country hands you captains armband. You don't have to be likeable to have a strong mentality. 10/10.
Flair, finishing, longevity and first touch and dribbling should all be 10/10. The score of 69 you have given zlatan is a disgrace!
11:53 I could watch that goal a thousand times and still be amazed by it
If he leads Milan to the title this year I think you need to revise the scoring. This would probably be his most impressive feat yet
You were so unfair to Zlatan. Mentality is like 8/10, his confidence lifts teams, consistancy is like 8/10 given that even the few games he has at internal level he carried sweden through.
“was” ? you need an update after his last season with milan the man was such a core element be it physically mentally to help pick up the team , veterans and the coach in Ac Milan were not able to accomplish what he did in such a short time . and yea at the age of 38 he managed to go toe to toe with Ronaldo in goal scoring that should tell u something.
good video but the rating is totally wrong imo. Hes 12 all time in goals and has won with basically every team hes played for. And his mentality is honestly the best ever. Yes it has led to controversy but its his mentality that has made him the player he is today. Ibra without Ibra-mentality isnt Ibra.
What a career. happy retirement Zlatan Ibrahimović. ❤
i just come here to say "was"??????????? this man will be karate kicking balls into the top corner well into his 50s

Well zlatan has sadly ended his career after 2022-23 season with 511 goals and 204 assists for club and 62 goals and 25 assists for nation. He is one of the most decorated footballers with 33 trophies and one of the players who has the most league titles with 13 along with Giggs . He has 118 MOTM and 156 awards.
And he is brilliant in scoring freekicks as he has scored 22 freekicks in his career and has 20 hat tricks. He was brilliant in every league he went and has a won a trophy every year he has played since 2000. And he has scored 3 bicycle kicks in his career. He is one of the best strikers in football. No doubt! Those who have watched him since his Inter Milan days will know what I'm saying ❤🦁
Great Video but you are underestimating Zlatan. He deserve more credit specially for his first touch, ball control and trophies.
I think you should do this video again, you undermined Zlatan in this video
I think his touch and control require reviewing but I agree. I love him for his persona, not his ability.
About 40% of his goals were outside the box, he’s clearly a long distance specialist, if not the most consistent.
Zlatan is the most powerful striker ever. He excelled in every league not to mention he made some leagues look old and slow. And I am not talking about the MLS which he also conquered. He destroyed the Premier and La Liga. I didn’t mind his shenanigans and attitude. His ego cracked me up.

But isn't success at that level dependent on the team around him and the coaches ability too ?
He played with some of the greatest teams (Barcelona and Inter treble winners) and some of the greatest coaches (Mourinho and Guardiola) and still had an underwhelming career, not a fitting excuse honestly
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT nah I'm saying like he had chemistry issues when he had good players.......no coach could control him and command his respect......and then when he and bad teams there was no chance....so in a way he negated his advantages.
@@vaishnavnegi9640 Well being able to keep calm and being easy to work with is one of the traits a great footballer should habe
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT yes all that talent wasted......he could have have had a lot more impact of he was more approachable and understanding.
@@vaishnavnegi9640 yeah exactly
The best!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
How come he got 9/10 striking, he's one of the best strikers ever, more than 500 goals, scoring from every position with all body parts.
Zlatan should get a new review. Btw nobody in Holland hates zlatan. Van der Vaart was seen as a cry baby.
I'm not a true Zlatan fan, I like him and dislike him for many things; however, I believe you did him injustice in most attributes.
Also, the consistency factor is the most controversial for me as you may be a talented player (Shevchenko, Lewandowski, Ibrahimovic) but you won't win trophies as your team suck.
Same with goalkeepers and clean sheets. Kahn, Casillas and Buffon would not have had so many clean performances in Schalke, Getafe, or Cagliari, respectively. It's a team effort.
Finally, many great players are penalised for their loyalty to a single club. We'll never know if certain players would have achieved multinational success as they had decided to stick to one club, but is it a sufficient reason to lower their score so significantly? Food for thought.
Thank you if you made it this far.
It's strange how you forget to mention many of the positives of the seasons. You could have mentioned his goal ratio's, his insane trophy cabinet, his 50+ goal season for PSG, how he won the league with every team he moved to consecutively in Serie A, how he dragged Sweden to the Euros against Denmark or in general his top scorer record for Sweden and subsequent qualifier tournaments. Sure the Swedish team was terrible and most of them played in the Russian league but it is fair to say Zlatan performed greatly. At least mention his hattrick against LAFC, dragging La Galaxy to a 3-2 win when talking about the Carlos Vela debacle (especially since that was the actual game that was played THE DAY AFTER his interview that sparked the drama occurred). Instead you mention the one game he lost. The whole Man Utd season is glossed over and you represent his league performance as poor despite the fact he scored 22 points in 28 games in the league during the one season he actually played...
Then you go on to say he's not a freekick or long distance specialist despite being perhaps the greatest long distance shooter in modern times at the very least. His first touch is also top top class and his consistency is not debatable. You can't win the league in 5 leagues, rarely missing out on a trophy and netting world class numbers for *21* (!!!) years and be called inconsistent.
32 titles
Dozens upon dozens over individual awards. Notably:
11 Ballon d'or nominations (4th place in 2013), 5 times UEFA team of the year, Puskas winner, 3x Serie A best player etc
But he gets a 3/10 because he's lost to great teams in the UCL knockouts and never won the WC or Euros with Sweden? I can't imagine anyone who hasn't played for Barcelona or Real Madrid for 90% of their career getting over a 5 if that's the case. I mean seriously, he has 3 less trophies than Cristiano Ronaldo.
Honestly, i get where this is coming from since the Champions is a huge title, but i could never agree. How in the world his trophies got a 3/10? This legend won almost everything everywhere he went and for the longest time.
Sadly, with all the respect, the Swedish team was so far bellow his level. Still, how a guy that is the top scorer for his nation and carried the team for the most part would mean any less just because they didnt won anything?
Also, yes, the lion in fact had some problems with very few teammates after playing with hundreds of different players but mostly he was loved. His antics were part of his show, his identity, but in reality he was a nice and charismatic guy. U can get tired of seeing him pointing at his passers and embracing his teammates after scoring many goals and thats not how an egomaniac behaves. Not to mention how many times he filled with praise names like Rooney, Messi and others. He was a hard worker and a very proud one, thats for sure, but arrogant? Not really, only to those that dont know nothing about him. His only ever problem with a coach was Pep and well, Pep also has his own collection of problems with players, nothing new. Not to mention that Barça was an awful fit for his characteristics.
How good he was? No doubt about it hes one of GOATS of all times. A legend to never be forgotten.
4/10 CONSIDTENCY?? THE MAN IS 41 AND STILL PLAYING IN EUROPE
Do you think hes going to retire this year is he does im hoing to cry 😢😭
Honestly, he might, he has supposedly teared his achilles tendon which is a very hard injury to recover from so it might just be the case that he does retire
(don't forget to subscribe, there's a lot more content in the channel just like this)
Daily Dose Of Football what players have recovered from that injury before ?
@@antoniosantos7896 David Beckham did
He gonna score 20+ goals this season for milan ,might play in CL next year 😂
@@rajatpandeyy who knows
7/10 on flair you are truly insane
This video isn't of same quality as others. He still is playing in top five European leagues, and the way his mentality affects his teammates is clearer than ever. Your rating was same as of judges who decided Modric should get ballon d'or or salah should get puskas for that goal.
Finishing 9/10
Positioning 9/10
Physicality 10
Speed 7
First touch 10
Mentality 10

90/100 how tf 69?
Must point out, LA Galaxy and LAFC are not city rivals, they're county rivals. LAFC plays in the City of Los Angeles that is in Los Angeles County, LA Galaxy play in the City of Carson, also in Los Angeles County. Same county, which is named Los Angeles, but 2 different cities.
For the first time, I disagree with your rankings, Zlatan is way more than a 69, ball control is a 10 and mentality should be nothing less than 9.
In terms of grading, you are a bit harsh, because Zlatan does have a great mentality.
his still killing it at 39 in milan
Disappointed with so many of your scores here dude
Trophies? He was a garuantee for the domestic throphy if you would sign him in Italy and Holland. Mentality? He single handed changed milan from a average team to a title/champions league contender just by joining at the age of... 37.
He is one of the best. Still I think he will be forgotten 😔
Zlatan won the Europa league with Man United, the only game he didn't play was the final it's unfair to say he didn't win in Europe. That's like saying xavi Alonzo didn't win the CL with RM became was suspended on for yellow cards
4/10 consistency?!?!!?!? It’s not fair to give him that because of him national team performance, he has been performing good as hell but his team mates are trash! Also he have consistently been in top clubs and have always been performing as one of the best! Finishing should also be 10/10 be is defiantly both an long- and short distance finisher
3/10 trophy cabinet?? The guy won 10 league titles in a row
Dude, your rating is a joke. Finishing 9????? Because of outside shots? Most of the finishers don't finish from outside...Suarez, Inzaghi, Messi, Neymar, and other million of them. Are they also 9 0f 10?Phisicality 7 ??? Mentality 5 ?? Mentality for what? Growing poodles and flowers? He is a mental giant....for playin f...in football and be the best in it.
Its not "how good he was"
Its "how amazing he is"
