Love the intro scene!
Thanks! I am working with a new editor on some videos and he gave me the idea!
I’ve tested a few and really like airthings
I haven't used AirThings. Does it integrate directly into Home Assistant?
Awesome video! Quick question, the Aquara TVOC monitor states that an Aquara Hub is required. Is this true or will it integrate into Zigbee with a Zigbee Gateway or is the Aquara branded hub a requirement?
Nope, like I mentioned in the video, mine is connected via Zigbee2MQTT. I would assume it will work with any other ZigBee backend as long as they have added support.
@@ThisSmartHouse awesome!! Thank you!
Is there any sensor that does CO2 + particulate + VOC ?
I did find some on AliExpress that claim to do everything. But I haven't picked one up to test. I have a friend, whos kids have Asthma. So they are intertested in the same thing.
Can you test some smart plugs? They would be accommodating for transforming a home into a smart one.
I've covered a few smart plugs in the past. What systems do you have and I could probably make a recommendation.
@@ThisSmartHouse, I just watched your video review of the SwitchBot Mini plug, and I must say that your thorough analysis of its features was really impressive! Your content is top-notch! I've sent you an email with more information about our products. Please take a look when you can - I would love to explore a potential collaboration with you!🥰
Can the natural gas sensor detect farts?
Top comment! 🤣 Not sure but I'll have to test it and report back. I know it does seem to take a bit of volume of gas to get it to set off I had to leave it in front of my burner for about 30 seconds.
I think a sensitive and working human nose will do a better job of detecting farts!😂
