I started with blankets many many many years ago. Blankets was all I knew until recently I made my first hat then another one and another one. Thennnn, I got real fancy and made my first cardigan, then another one and another one. Soooo now, it’s the WEARABLES for me. I get so excited about my next project as excited as you are about your first blanket 😂. I’m thinking a dress next then some shorts then a full length coat - liiiiike the inspiration is through the roof!!!
I knew you’d like the cotton blend better. lol You about to crochet wash cloths and coasters with the scraps next. home decor is a different type of comfort

Beautiful blanket. I was able to perfect my stitches and endurance by making smaller blankets for rescue pets. They get bigger every time.🤣And yes it is very rewarding.
I love your video about this yarn. My first project with this yarn was a cardigan for my mother. It was a Mothers Day gift for her. I am now making a blanket for my father with the color Beach View. It is coming out great.
Yea blankets were my ministry and then I ventured out into baby clothes and graphghans, which is still like blankets, but I digress, I think you’ll love making blankets.
I started one in December cause I had so much yarn that was leftover from when I first started learning to crochet, I finished it in May. It worked up fast, but I got lazy the bigger it got, it took longer to finish a round. But eventually I finished it and I'm so happy I did.
Cute blanket! Def make the mood blanket. I made one a while back it’s soo cool to make. I did granny squares either a 7 hook because I don’t have patience lol. It worked up quick and I did the squares big. It was huge but most importantly it was funny tracking my moods for the day. I think it did it was 30 days or so I can’t even remember. U would love the blood blanket though depending on the different moods u track.
i watched one of your vlogs where you were talking about your loc socks, then i made one from your tut. now in watching this and about to make this blanket😭😭.

I believe you do not have to steam the blanket. I’ve made the same type blanket and there was no need to steam it. Despite the holes in the blanket, they are extremely warm.

I think it's so funny that a hobby that people otherwise imagine to be slowly done over years sitting in a rocking chair on a porch is actually done by people who instead decide to push their mind and body to their limits within intense battle with their materials for personal and communal glory😂

Great idea! I think I’ll do a granny square blanket and alternate the skeins with a neutral so that I can use up some of my yarn.

How do you deal with pain while crocheting? I’ve been trying to finished my blanket but I’m having pain in my shoulder.
