This was so fun to watch, and the blanket looks great! I think framing it would be really expensive...could you hang it as a tapestry? With a little extra support probably
You can get people at Michaels to frame for you for a reasonable price
just pin it to the wall with thumb tacks

I love the blanket… yes frame it… or but a backing on it.. like a quilt… then you could hang it on your wall with out any damage.

Love how unique and colourful the squares all are, and such beautiful flowers. Also, if you find out about the glow in the dark yarn, I want to know too! I would love a whole sweater with that! Wow I’m a thirteen year old crocheter 😂 It’s nice to see kids our age who know how to crochet. I have a couple friends who know and some others who are gonna learn but it’s still fun.

They do custom framing at Michael’s! They always have like 20%+ off on the app because people don’t really get custom framing that often.

i remember not having the courage to crochet anything like i’ve been “crocheting” or knowing how to crochet for a year or 2 and becoz of your videos i finally felt the courage to learn how to crochet granny squares finally and bralettes :) i just finished the bralettes yesterday and today i crocheted a sunburst granny square and currently crocheting a granny square for a tote bag🥲 i finally know how to crochet these type of things im one of the cool girls now and i can proudly make projects and go back to addictive crocheting

Your video came up randomly as I was looking for new beginner ideas.
I am now subscribed to you this video made me feel good.
I was deemed disabled in 2015 and all but lost the use of my hands. I have been Soo determined to change my fate.
So I went to Walmart and I grabbed a hook and yarn and set out to do the only stitch I knew. It was then just a single crochet. I made my husband a blanket. It is four feet wide and six and a half feet long. Lol it was a doozie. It took a year and a half. And then I started making hats.
This was about five years ago.
This year I learned how to make the magic circle and I made my son a hat. He wears it to work and the next thing I know I am in business. I have made close to sixty hats since October.
I have had custom orders come in like crazy. As I am getting down to the bottom of my hat orders I am wanting to start something new.
I just love your energy. And I am looking forward to checking out all your videos.
Doing this has bright back the use of my hands almost fully . They are not very strong but thankfully I don't have to fight hard with yarn. Even my doctor is very astonished at how I have gain my usage of my hands back. All he tells me is to take it easy. And easy is my name.
I know my limits and I have worked very hard to do what I do.
And I would love to have a community to share with.

Get a long branch or stick and hang it like a tapestry on the wall. All free! I’m having a hip replacement in a week and looking for project ideas. I’m thinking just go nuts making granny squares and make a blanket or sweater etc. I loved the beautiful variety of all of your granny squares submitted. Especially the Omazing Paige one! Wow! I can’t wait to start! I’ve been on a crochet slump lately and needed this inspiration!

The blanket came out beautifully!! I know framing is incredibly expensive but I do know Michael’s does custom framing and they’re always having huge sales. Maybe that could be an option?
I saw someone else suggest hanging the blanket like a tapestry. I wonder if you bought canvas, like actual canvas not already stapled to a wooden frame, and sewed the blanket to that, if there’d be enough support to hang it as a tapestry that way. I think there probably would!
Either way, you did a wonderful job laying out the squares and sewing them together! And I’m definitely going to be watching more of your videos :) 🩷

Hi Paige! I've really enjoyed watching, and have a possible solution for keeping your subscriber blanket prestine. You could get a queen-size flat sheet and sew the subscriber blanket to it. Then across the top of the sheet you could put grommets so you could hang it like a tapestry. It a little outside the box, but it would work. Just an idea. Best wishes!

I love all of the squares!!! I will def be making something with the glow in the dark yarn when I can find it. When it first came out a couple years ago it wasn’t near to that much glow imo. Can’t wait until your next project and or 50 ideas video
