Hack for Recording Calligraphy Videos

Can you believe that almost ALL of the videos on our channel have been recorded this way??
Perks of using a martini glass as a phone stand:
-Keeps the phone at a slight angle for the best view of pen on paper, and the base is not in view
-Perfect height to capture your lettering and also be able to see the screen (and always the same height for consistency)
-No need to use a clip or worry about clamping your phone, just set it on top
-Stable and not "wobbly" like some goose neck holders

Damn, I guess I'll never be able to make a YT video. Every time I hold a martini glass I drink a martini. A decent table top tripod costs less than a crystal glass - and does a better job.

Haha! You could, of course, use a tripod to record videos, but I have yet to find one that suits my uses better than this trusty martini glass (and luckily I'm not a martini-drinker) :)
